Perfect place for lunch. Delicious food!! Excellent service!! Going there again next Monday for kale Caesar with grilled chicken.
Lunch was a healthy delight. Ambiance was hip and welcoming. The bread plate, sandwiches and soup were perfect. The ginger lemonade is addictive! Yum
Another amazing meal at the bread bar. Great attentive server with wonderful food recommendations. Had a salad and pizza and both were spectacular. Great place for lunch good idea to make a reservation
We made reservations on open table and it worked very well, ordered the charcuterie board and it was exceptional. Great service and reasonable pricing
Wonderful business lunch. Service was quick and friendly, ambience was lovely, and the food was awesome. Will definitely be back for other business meals in the future.
The service and food was excellent on our last visit. The waitress was most helpful and polite.
Might I suggest fewer interruptions as to how things are going.
We had a great time this past Sunday. We loved the food and felt so taken of, so spoiled! It was such a treat!
Great food, great atmosphere. Love coming here for all you can eat brunch.
The Service and food was great. We have been there several times now and will continue to return. Thanks.
The Bread Bar is always a hit - you make me look good to my guests ... every time!
I made and reservation unknowing that it was for a buffet brunch. I don’t love that brunch was the only option on a Sunday afternoon. $35 was way too much for what was offered and what I ate.
The food was fine, certainly not bad but not outstanding. The service was fine, although we had to look for our server a couple of times. Pace was generally pretty good. But it was truly quite over priced.
Food was tasty as always.
Beer and wine is significantly over priced. The food is excellent however.
The price has increased from $30 to $35 per person for brunch. $30 was already a stretch, for $35 I no longer feel I can justify the value.
The pizza is great and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Unfortunately the service was not as great. It took almost 15 minutes for our server to finally acknowledge that we were even there. He seemed uninterested in our needs.
Great service, not the largest menu options. Would definitely go back
Went for brunch and it was amazing ! Definitely worth the price
I think more effort has to be put into meal presentation. I had a roast chicken with side of soup and that’s all it came with. I think a dinner platter has to come with a vegetable and a potato or rice as a side for The price you charge.
I invited an out of town business colleague to lunch having eaten at the Bread Bar before. You made me look great! Even though our server was being trained, she took beautiful care of us, and she and her trainer were seamless in their service - my guest mentioned the welcoming vibe.
The choices for healthy food were impressive, and our dishes were really creative and delicious. And the pie that we each indulged in was outstanding! As we left, my guest was considering when he could bring his wife for dinner.
Even though the Bread Bar is a bustling place, I always feel l valued as a customer and pampered as a diner. You gotta go!
Our wait staff was patient and accommodating. We could take our time which was very much appreciated.
Nice location and ambiance. Food is very tastey and creative. Reasonable prices too.
Great place to go for lunch in Guelph. The hummus on the bread plate was outstanding. Pizza was very good - we had the apple and bacon and an arugula salad. We live in NY and have high pizza standards- they met them. Plan to return to the Bread Bar the next time we are in Guelph.
2nd time at this restaurant always pleasant and good pizzas, and service very good and friendly
A family favourite - whenever we go out for a meal it seems to be here! Service is always great. Even if you've had something before there's always a little bit of a unique twist.
Sunday, Sept 30, 2018, 5:45 reservation. All round perfect. Was a bit noisy but music was turned down on request. Food excellent, perhaps best pizza outside of Italy. Prices seemed appropriate. Note visited mid August. One pizza was prepared wrong. It was promptly replaced (original left of others) and a nice box of sweets supplied as a gift. Wonderful. Highly recommend!
Had a great experience at Bread Bar for Sunday brunch. The only thing I didn't love was the price, which came to $90 after tax and tip for 2 people - but that's expected for a place that only buys local ingredients. I would recommend something like this a lot more of the price was more affordable.
Great food in general, a bit pricey for what you get. Not very good for anyone with food allergies. Vegan friend had maybe 2 options on the menu that had to be altered to suit her diet and a gluten free friend had the same issue.
Usually find the food quite flavorful but two of us found the mac’n cheese lacking in cheese flavor. Third person loved his umami burger and the fries.
I prefer your pizzas. Otherwise it’s a fun place though we all find the wine to be overpriced considering the quality.
Food was excellent, the only comment I would add is to go easy on the chillies, they are supposed to enhance/ compliment the other flavours and not overpower them. My wife had the fried Brussels Sprouts appetizer but the red chillies just killed them.
I love the atmospheric and the food. A great outdoor patio as well
I first stumbled upon Bread Bar about 4 years ago, and we continue to dine there. I have introduced friends to the Brunch ( best kept secret) and they have also brought their friends for a special occasion.
Food was great! Calamari was the best I've had in a while.
Love this place... great and fun menu really well executed. Love the food quality and the staff are absolutely terrific!
Service was excellent. Lots of different food choices - I wish I would have had the burger - looks amazing but will have it next time!
Wonderful food, great atmosphere! We had a bread board to start with and then pasta and pizza. All very fresh and flavourful.
Service was excellent. We all enjoyed our meal. Will definitely come back
Upon booking I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I noted we were celebrating a birthday. (nothing was done at end of dinner I had to mention to server and my daughter was not surprised)
Our pizza was under cooked (we asked for well done) so we asked to cook a bit more, came back very salty.
(apparently they re drizzle with oil and salt after it comes out of oven)
We were compensated with cookies. Well that's not a dinner we should have had a new pizza!!!!!!!!!!!
Food and service both exceeded expectation. Brunch was so good!! We will be back again soon. Thanks!
Fresh, local, seasonal ingredients--delicious meal! Worth the drive from KW. My sister and I shared an app, an entree and ordered a large pizza so we could enjoy more the next day.
