Had a great meal, it wasn't too loud. Waitress was great but a little pushy and almost to rush us out.

I have been there twice now with my girls, and husband. Both times, the staff have been very friendly, the food amazing, and the atmosphere very calming. My girls love the pizza and milkshake choices. There is a pretty good variety of food to choose from, and definitely something there for everyone. I highly recommend you make reservations on the weekends because there won't be a free seat available, that is how busy it is and how good it is!

We had a wonderful meal for a birthday. We ordered the special of the day; the featured pizza that has roasted garlic, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni. It was delicious. We’re looking forward to another event to celebrate there.

This is the third time I have eaten here - twice for the Sunday brunch and once for dinner. We have not been disappointed so far. The food is delicious (especially any of the bread products, obviously), the service is attentive but not intrusive, and the prices are reasonable. I loved that there was no 'type' of clientele -- while we were having dinner, we saw people of all ages enjoying themselves. I would definitely recommend Bread Bar to anyone!

I reserved for a party of 5 & prepaid for my Mothers birthday. I left a 20% tip from the outset, feeling the service would likely be on point. I was pleased to note that my Mother & her guests unanimously agreed both service & food selection, quality and presentation were top notch. Thank you to breadbar for knocking it out of the park, yet again!!

Breadbar has become a frequent dining option for my friends and I.
We love the quinoa burger and you can never go wrong with their pizza!
On Sunday's the brunch is amazing, we were a little disspointed seeing the price be increased to $30 a person.
Overall this is one of our favourite places to have drinks and food. The patio is definetly one of the best in Guelph.

The food was OK. We order a butcher's block that was $18 and only came with 2 pieces of toast to go with all of the meat. We asked for more toast and later found out we were charged for it without being told. The waitress was nice though. I'm not sure if I'd go back for dinner as it was rather expensive for the food quality. I've been for their brunch and it was great so I might stick to that.

First time visiting the restaurant. Great location, nice interior and excellent service. I wish the food met the same level. I had the Quinoa veggie burger. It was ...ok ... and I had expected more from this place. The burger was dry, bland and way too big for a vegetarian burger. I'd recommend going, just don't get that dish.

Bread Bar was a wonderful spot for our date night! Great food, helpful staff, excellent wait times --- we never felt rushed but also never wondered when the next part of our meal would arrive. The risotto was absolutely delicious!!! We will absolutely be back!

Came from out of town to celebrate my step-daughters movie away to BC. Out of the group of us, she's the only vegetarian so I wanted to make sure there were plenty of options for her.

Great wait staff. Attentive but not over bearing. Food was delicious. Between the 5 of us we had: Grilled Cheese w/Bacon, Pork Cubano Sandwich, Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, Vampire Slayer Pizza & Mexican Street Corn Pizza.

Highly Recommend!!!

Some of the party were extremely late (40mins). Staff were attentive and wonderful to those already seated. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. There was an unidentified problem with our order (we were so busy chatting, we hadn't noticed). Our server apologized, had the meals served within minutes and offered us a free dessert - each!
1 party member had to leave quickly and was given dessert to go with a smile and a thank you from the server.
The food was excellent, we had 3 different salads all with mac and cheese and a turkey sandwich with salad. Portion sizes were good value for money. The mac & cheese was creamy, with crunchy bacon bites inside, and a crunchy buttery breadcrumb topping. Salads were fresh and crisp, fruit was just the right ripeness. The unsweetened iced tea and the house lemonade earned raves. A cheesecake fan? Leave room for the Chai Cheesecake. It was divine.

Brunch with friends -- our 2nd time at Bread Bar for brunch. The ambiance is always good, the service attentive, just a bit confused on the brunch orders (we got food we didn't order, didn't get dishes we had... coffee and juice for 3 of 4 of us, inexplicably... but all fairly minor slip-ups!). The food was fantastic -- whether from the pick-it-up-yourself salad bar (which includes pizza) and desserts, or the small plates coming out fast and hot from the kitchen as ordered -- well, except the ones that never arrived. Overall, a great place for brunch at a decent price -- $28 per person, including two beverages of the adult variety per person if you so wish (same price even if you don't drink).

Went for Sunday brunch with my wife. Waitress was very good at explained how their brunch worked.
Bar buffet has various salads, breads and cold meats.
Order main items off kitchen menu, which has selection of various types of eggs, pancakes, French toast, salmon etc.. Portions are small so you can try as many items as you want till you stuffed.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be going back.
