    Service was very good, we literally only waited for 2 seconds at the door before the lady came to greet me with a smile and take me to the seats. Waiters and waitresses are very friendly, food was good and was served well and fast. Overall was pretty good experience. Definitely will go back. The only thing I was say is that if you are looking for somewhere quite to dine, it might not be the best option. The music was a bit loud but totally suit the restaurant style. 👍🏻

    First time having our dinner here and everything was great! We got there during the happy hour which was awesome! We ordered oysters and other sushi dishes. the oysters were amazing and good size. We will definitely be back here again.

    It was our second time in two days eating here. The oysters, the sushi, the udon soups all amazing. The wagyu beef cooked on a hot stone very good fun experience. Definitely recommend coming here for the best Japanese food I've ever had

    The two waitresses were so lovely! So polite and attentive. Happy hour is very reasonable and on later than most places finishing at 6pm. I will definitely be back.

    Kind, courteous and efficient customer service. I really appreciated how the staff took away our dirty dishes and refilled our tea without having to ask. The Happy Hour oysters were delicious!

    Foods a bit expensive for what you get, but that’s the way downtown Vancouver is. The presentation and quality is very good. The service was good. The music was a bit loud for having conversations. Perhaps the a/c fan could be lowered, as it was blowing directly on to the tables. Overall was a good experience. Would go there again.

    Enjoyed happy hour offerings. Buck a shuck oysters were so fresh!! The Monday special bento box was very good, looked impressive & had little bit of everything. Was thoroughly embarrassed by the loud happy birthday song but it was all in good fun. Overall had a great time & enjoyed good food & drinks.

    The food was delicious and the staff was lovey, the only complaint we had was that the some of our food came out very late. Not sure if the kitchen was understaffed? Other than that we would definitely come back again!

    We ordered the $18.99 lunch special where you pick 3 items. Good quality food and big portions! Opens at 12pm for lunch so if you're looking for an earlier lunch, this isn't this place.

    On April 4, 2023, at 145pm, my wife and I went to Ebisu on Robson and Bute streets for lunch. A couple of months ago, I went to this restaurant for lunch at 12 noon and the food was pretty good. This time, I went with my wife and we had a late lunch at 2pm. The food was okay but not as good as last time when I went with my friend. I learned that a late lunch at a Japanese restaurant could be tricky because the sushi rice is a bit cold and mushy perhaps the sushi rice had sat for a couple of hours. The teriyaki chicken was good. But the sushi rolls were a bit mushy. The tempura was a little over done and a little greasy. I will still go back to Ebisu because the staff are very nice and friendly.
