    Kind, courteous and efficient customer service. I really appreciated how the staff took away our dirty dishes and refilled our tea without having to ask. The Happy Hour oysters were delicious!

    Foods a bit expensive for what you get, but that’s the way downtown Vancouver is. The presentation and quality is very good. The service was good. The music was a bit loud for having conversations. Perhaps the a/c fan could be lowered, as it was blowing directly on to the tables. Overall was a good experience. Would go there again.

    Enjoyed happy hour offerings. Buck a shuck oysters were so fresh!! The Monday special bento box was very good, looked impressive & had little bit of everything. Was thoroughly embarrassed by the loud happy birthday song but it was all in good fun. Overall had a great time & enjoyed good food & drinks.

    The food was delicious and the staff was lovey, the only complaint we had was that the some of our food came out very late. Not sure if the kitchen was understaffed? Other than that we would definitely come back again!

    We ordered the $18.99 lunch special where you pick 3 items. Good quality food and big portions! Opens at 12pm for lunch so if you're looking for an earlier lunch, this isn't this place.

    On April 4, 2023, at 145pm, my wife and I went to Ebisu on Robson and Bute streets for lunch. A couple of months ago, I went to this restaurant for lunch at 12 noon and the food was pretty good. This time, I went with my wife and we had a late lunch at 2pm. The food was okay but not as good as last time when I went with my friend. I learned that a late lunch at a Japanese restaurant could be tricky because the sushi rice is a bit cold and mushy perhaps the sushi rice had sat for a couple of hours. The teriyaki chicken was good. But the sushi rolls were a bit mushy. The tempura was a little over done and a little greasy. I will still go back to Ebisu because the staff are very nice and friendly.

    Food was good, but service was terrible. It’s a busy place but it didn’t seem like there was dedicated wait staff for each table. Different waitresses would show up and we had to flag ones down a few times. Be careful of the automatic gratuity. They charge for larger tables (think 6+). Usually staff mentions this at payment but they didn’t (sneaky), so we tipped twice. Check before you pay! They definitely did not deserve even a 15% tip, let alone a 30%…

    Food is good but service is not great, none of our meals came at the same time so one of us was done eating by the time the other persons came. Like 30 mins in between each one of our meals being brought out and there was 4 of us…. and took about 35 mins or so just to get a single bowl of miso soup. They were busy but the kitchen was chaotic and understaffed or they are not trained properly. Food was good but not amazing, abit expensive. Super loud birthday party behind us. Would maybe go again during the week when it’s much slower but never again on the weekend

    Celebrated NYE here this year and we had fun. We ordered Double Dragon, Beef Ribs, Scallops, Chicken Karage, Clams Pasta and dessert. Everything was good plus our drinks. We enjoyed the countdown too and they gave us free champagnes. Great service, accessible location, clean rest rooms, awesome food and affordable price, we will surely be back.

    In town for NYE with the family, including two boys (ages 6 and 10). Restaurant had great atmosphere for NYE, great food, great service. Very fun way to ring in the New Year.

    My spouse is usually not a fan of sushi but he loved everything we ordered, the food was amazing! We ordered several dishes to share. The decor was super unique and fun. We have already recommended this place to our friends and would definitely come back.
