What a delightful restaurant! We were expecting tiny servings and unreasonable prices but instead we were served very generous appetizer portions, side dishes, and main courses. You will not go hungry here! Our wedding anniversary date night felt very special and the staff were friendly and responsive without constantly hovering over you like other upscale restaurants. We got nice treats on the house that were nicely wrapped up and put in a bag for us as we were too full for dessert. All for under $200! We will be coming again 100%.

Another amazing Wedding Anniversary dinner at Eddie V’s! That’s why we keep going back. We’re heading to Alaska and wondering if we’re going to eat halibut as good as it was prepared for my wife last night. Absolutely fantastic! And, of course, the fillet never disappoints. Thank you for the outstanding service from Matthew. First rate! And the Anniversary dessert capped off a beautiful dining experience.

Great place. Steaks were a bit unflavored/not seasoned enough. Were cooked well and everything else was great. Just stinks when the main doesn’t live up to expectations. Would go again but just clarify that we want flavorful steaks.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Everyone made us feel welcome. The branzino and scallops were cooked to perfection. Our server Tyresa was Amazing. She made the evening so special. She had great drink advice. The Champagne and desert along with sweet card capped the night. We are so happy we chose this location to celebrate our anniversary. A great meal involves more than just delicious food but the ambiance and the waiter make it a truly wonderful experience. So thank you Tyresa and everyone!

This was our selection for an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The cocktails were well made. We don't usually eat the bread restaurants bring to the table but this was very good. The halibut special was delicious - topped with tomato, avocado and crab. Our server, Gabriel, was knowledgable and attentive. We'll definitely go back.

Daniel is the manager at the Arboretum Eddie V’s and he does a great job! I’ve been a customer for 15 years and the food, service and atmosphere make this Eddie V’s one of the best experiences in North Austin.

Went there to celebrate our 55 wedding anniversary. Hostess, waiters, manager, all wished us a happy anniversary. There was a card on our table signed by numerious employees. Compilmentry champagne and desert. My wife had the 8 oz filet and I had the stuffed shrimp. Both were excellent. We have eaten numerious times at Eddie V's, both downtown and the Arboretum and have never been disappointed

Overall experience was moderate. Food was good but not great for the price value. Been here many times b4, just a little dif experience last night. (15 min to get sit after having reservation & food took little longer than usual to arrive at table. Didn’t easily flow like other times).

We were so disappointed. The food was wonderful, our waitress delightful, the various courses were well-timed and the ambience in the bar was fun and upbeat - exactly why we wanted to sit there. The last time we visited we had such a fun evening. The problem was the wait and the manager’s response to our question. We reserved for 7 pm on Open Table but we were kept waiting for 30 minutes. I approached the front manager and asked why there were 3 tables for 4 people and each was seated with 2 people. Her response was there was nothing she could do, she blamed Open Table and asked me if those diners should not have been accommodated! This is a Maitre D’s response? What was a perfect evening turned into just a nice time.

As requested, we were seated in a quieter part of the restaurant to help one of our party with hearing loss be able to participate in the conversation. The waitress (Donna) was excellent--friendly, not intrusive, and with a great sense of humor. And the food was, as always, provided in ample quantities and superbly prepared.

The card and the petals were a nice touch. My wife definitely loved it. I was pleased to see that you still cut a New York strip to an appropriate thickness. Even high end steak restaurants are cutting their steaks to a thickness of half an inch or so, and there is no way to properly cook a steak that thin. As always, the experience and expertise of your chef is reflected in every dish, and the excellent service contributed to make the whole experience very enjoyable.
