   Very good service from start to finish. Steaks, Salmon, Sea Bass all cooked perfectly with really good flavor. It’s great to eat at a place where the kitchen is not afraid to add flavor. The lamb chop appetizer is a must do.

   Had some timing issues with food, as well as steak and sides being way over cooked. Manager took care of us, server was very upset, she did a great job, not her fault at all

   I love short ribs, so I went that route instead of a steak. It was likely the best I've ever had. Tasty rub and crust on the outside and melt in your mouth soft on the inside. Wine selection was nice, and I paired the meal with a cab. Oh, and if you get the broccoli as a side ask for the cheese on the side, I did and that was a smart move in hindsight.

   Lunch was very quiet, not busy at all, great service from the greeter to the waiter. Only negative is Elways is in need of a remodel/updating. Feels somewhat old fashioned and a little stuffy. The food brings you back not the surroundings.

   It was truly amazing!!! The lamb chops were great!!! The lamb fondue and lobster macaroni and cheese were great!! But most of all, Tess was the best!!!! She made us feel very welcome and even gave us a small box of Elway’s spices when we told her that we were visiting from NJ. We will definitely be back again!!

    Food, service, and value is top notch. The ambiance is outdated though. The walls and lighting is a plane brown, 80's throw back kind of feel. Also out of towner's come here for the name and there is no Elway or NFL anything in here. I understand saving space on a table but a single candle or tea light would be a nice touch.

    We went as a family for Mother's Day brunch. $125 perperson over 12 years of age. Absolutely, 100%, not worth this amount. Plus mimosa and bloody mary are extra. Food was adequate - good assortment but certainly not over the top. Nice seafood selection but no small forks for the king crab? No mint jelly for lamb chops? As an example, we did a Christmas brunch at the Broadmoor and the selection was better, drinks were included and the cost was a lot less. Just a big disappointment.

    We went for lunch May 13th, the service was great the food was ok, not worth what we paid. I ordered a mimosa and it was horrible and tasteless, for the price it was really not worth it.

    Two of us sat in a bar booth on a sunday night about 6p. The nuggets were playing in the playoffs and the place was literally empty. Lighting was very dim. Soft tacos were just average, not great. With 2 non alcoholic drinks the bill w/tip was over $100. For average soft tacos? Yes, for average soft tacos. Service was impeccable.

    Excellent food. Good bourbon selection. Made it right when a friend had an issue with his soup. Got there on a night they had a lot of rush from a Derby party but they handled it well but they ran out of bread!

    Elways was great. The steak is by far the best we ever had. The portions for the sides we perfect for 2 people. The atmosphere was nice and all the waiters were friendly. Definitely recommended Elways!

    My wife and I were in Denver for business. We stayed an extra night to have a date night with just us two. We had been working hard lately and wanted to do something special. We selected Elway’s. Making reservations for Friday night was easy with OT. We valet parked at the Ritz, no charge for Elway’s diners. Charles, the Maitre’d, greeted us warmly and led us to our table for 2. He checked on us throughout the evening to ensure all was perfect. Tess was our waitress, and what a great one she was. We had drinks (Ronda Lyn had an old fashioned and I had a Vodka Martini on the rocks, dirty w bleu cheese stuffed olives) which were great. We selected steaks for dinner. Ronda Lyn had a 6 oz filet and I ordered the bone-in ribeye. Asparagus and a neat take on Brussels were our sides. We each ordered a glass of John Elway’s cab sav that was served with the steaks. And what steaks they were! We learned that Elway’s uses the sous vide method of cooking the steaks to ensure the proper temperature. Then the steaks are seasoned with the secret Elway’s rub and finished over fire. Our steaks were exactly as ordered and the crust was both texture and taste perfect. The best steaks we have ever enjoyed. The sides were excellent as well. The wine was surprisingly good and was the perfect companion to our meal. We only wanted one glass each, so this was a great selection. Dessert was coffee and a shared cheesecake. The cheesecake was not a typical NY style, but light and served with a delicious vanilla sauce. Tess was outstanding. Charles was the perfect host. When we return to Denver, we will absolutely eat at Elway’s again!

    I received a phone call approximately 1 hr after my dinner. It was from Elways and the woman said dud you enjoy your dinner at Elways and I said yes. She then said then why didn’t you leave a tip. I expained I did it it was 20%. She then said no you didn’t your bill. Without tip was $406 I said no it was $250 She then hung up. I was extremely insulted by this and do not plan to visit this restaurant again

    I went here with a friend for a long weekend girls vacation in Denver. Our waiter was great, the drinks were good, as was the food. We got the shrimp cocktail which was a little bit rubbery, but not too bad. We also ordered steaks with lobster tails, and sides of asparagus and au gratin potatoes. The steaks had a crispy outside while being perfectly cooked inside and the lobster was cooked great. Really good experience.

    My SO and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Food was excellent and the service is unmatched. I would highly recommend the fondue! Jeremy, our waiter and sommelier, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. All of his recommendations were spot on! Charles, the host, was so pleasant and friendly. He is a true expert in hospitality! Special thanks to Cael who boxed what we couldn’t finish and even coordinated a fridge to be sent up to our room so we could store it properly. We will be back!

    The lights were too bright in the walls were dusty. My martinis were not great and had tons for small pieces of ice in them and my sides where bad as well the lamb chops came on a bed of refrigerated temp potatoes in the Brussel, sprouts were undercooked and had no flavour. My dates steak was overcooked from her request of medium rare.
