The stars are a bit misleading due to a single incident. My server was great. The tasting menu was outstanding and we got the wine pairing. The first course was lobster in a kind of deconstructed bisque. The pairing was a sherry to go with the theme. Unfortunately, the wine had a bad bitter finish and was undrinkable. When I complained to the sommelier, he blew me off because I didn't understand it was a "dry" sherry. Nobody else paid any attention to my complaint despite just asking someone to taste it to confirm. I have traveled all over the world and an experienced wine drinker. I am especially fond of my ports and sherry. I would have further complained of my treatment and probably walked out but I was with two other couples and it was my treat so I couldn't leave them with a $1300+ check.

The service we received was incredibly slow. The restaurant was not crowded at all and it still took a really long time to get drinks, food, etc.

The food and service is amazing but the atmosphere was boring—Emerils use to be so fun and lively maybe we should have sat in the Salon. The dining area where you eat the set courses is great for a quiet romantic dinner not for a group of friends that want to be loud and have fun.

The restaurant is overall superb. The complete change to the menu is interesting. After regular visits over the past 25 years I miss prior options and the preparation/presentation of certain items. BUt, I’ll forever love the restaurant.

Food, service and ambience live up to Emeril’s reputation. The prix fix menu makes enjoying the best dishes that complement each other so easy. For those with lighter appetites a three course option is available; and I highly recommend. The service is what you’d expect for a world class restaurant, with personable staff who attend to your every need with alacrity and class. The kitchen and food prep areas are open to the diners’ view, further adding to the allure of the whole experience. As with any restaurant of this caliber dress code is enforced and expect to pay a premium price for the experience. But it’s well worth it!

Wonderful evening. Our second time there. I love the restaurant, staff, food, and ambiance, but it’s very expensive. Nevertheless, I’ll continue to visit when I’m in New Orleans.

Our first return to the newly-revamped Emeril’s was as wonderful as our celebration 21 years ago for our daughters tenth birthday; in other words, we applaud the return to elegance at Emeril’s flagship restaurant. We were impressed by the smartly-attired staff and appreciated their friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness to our table. Thank you Sahan, Chris and your entire wait team. This restaurant is excellent, and priced accordingly; upscaled guidelines for patrons’ attire reflect the mutual expectation of a 5-star experience. The three 7-course and one 3-course “Emeril’s experience” tasting menus (in the main dining room) are indeed suitable for special, formal and celebratory dining occasions, or even everyday elegant dining. Cocktails and wine offerings were superb and our choices on the three-course menu were all exceptional. We are locals and have many dining choices in the Warehouse District; Emeril’s is a valued New Orleans tradition for a very refined dining experience, highly recommended.

For the most part this restaurant is Five Star but a few mishaps raised our brows. One of the server assistants greeted our table with “Good Evening Gentlemen”, and that spoiled my lady’s vibe for a moment. They also failed to acknowledge her birthday which was included in our reservation as the Special Occasion. Other than those, the food, ambience, and overall service were nothing but SUPERB. We’ll definitely be back.

When we got there; I of courses asked if Emeril was there. He wasn’t; however we were able to sit at the bar with the view of the kitchen. It was epic! Caitlain(probably spelling wrong) was the bomb! She was the protein cook. She mapped out the kitchen for us. Dennis our saucier was brilliant. Sophie our waitress and everyone in the dining area was very attentive. I had dropped my napkin at least 4x, not on purposed (lol) and it was picked up and given a fresh one every time. Allison our maître d’ was excellent in getting my meal on point. I have Celiac Disease and the staff was very accommodating. It is our 21st wedding anniversary and they treated us so well. The kitchen staff was very accommodating and very social. We had a marvelous experience thank you. I didn’t forget you Kenny and Chef Dave ❤️

Definitely a class act! If you want romance, elegance, and well seasoned food..definitely come here! They also have one of the most extensive wine lists I’ve ever seen…at least 80 pages!

Great evening having small plates in the bar. Great spot for casual dress and conversation. My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary. The food was excellent. The service was outstanding. It was good to be back in NOLA and at Emerils.

Last minute reservation for out of town family, arrived early and they seated us. Food options included 3 tasting menus and a three course fixed price menu. All of the food was exceptional and Emeril's even added a few extras. The service was outstanding and we were all very satisfied when we finished eating. Bottom line is we will return.

We knew going to Emerils would be very extravagant and we wanted to celebrate our 36th in style. Our experience exceeded expectations from the cocktails to dessert. The food tasted sensational and honestly perfect serving sizes. The staff, especially our server not only made us feel like we were honored guests and very welcomed but also ensured that every aspect of our experience was excellent. It ranked as one of our best anniversary celebrations. After dinner we walked to the French Quarter to meet our daughter for another drink too. Just an epic day all around!!

I made reservations for my husband and myself after searching "kosher" in YELP, go figure. We had a lovely dinner and evening! Just two small things to mention; first two ladies sitting at a table to our right were obviously disturbed by something. They didn't get past the bread course, and spent the remainder of the evening talking (one with arms folded) with their waiter. This was uncomfortable for us. Second, the Redfish that was served with the grilled skin side up, was okay but was difficult to eat and I was not able to enjoy the sauce, as I flipped the fish over to eat it and the sauce was on the skin side (the skin did not just slip right off). Overall a wonderful experience, thank you!

The “Bar experience “ was disappointing. Open table app would not allow a single to reserve in the dinning room. Only options at the bar are overpriced small plates and overpriced drinks. The bar tender was great though. This new concept does NOT take kindly to the business travelers. I have dined here multiple times pre COVID. But will not be going back.

Emeril’s Restaurant offers a very unique and amazing dining experience. The presentation was unique and the favors……..omg delish! Everyone worked as a team had a way of making you feel special and created a very pleasant environment. I was also surprised to see Emeril in the kitchen it was hard to refrain from say “BAM” but I did as the atmosphere is of elegant dining.

Awesome…service was incredible and everything we tasted was spectacular! Thank you to Donovan and Phillip who made us feel very much at home, and walked us through a great menu! What’s better than Champagne and oysters to start, completed by an incredible okra seafood gumbo that was unique and delicious! But the olives….best we’ve had!!

No alteration of menu changes for gluten free customers. Items I could eat were good, however, I had to leave certain foods in the plate due to gluten or allergies. Ordered soufflé for dessert but it was nothing more than hot cake, Not a true soufflé! Seemed very much like a chop shop not fine dining.

Great anniversary dinner! Probably would not do the tasting unless a social occasion, but it definitely impressed and there were lots of little special touches from the staff. Favorite courses were the oyster, raviolo, and steak! Wine pairings were great! Perfect for a special occasion!

I have to say my wife and I were disappointed with our overall experience at Emerils. Disappointment #1: We opted for bar seating, which was advertised as “small plate” meals but we were shocked at how small. Although the food was prepared nicely and the taste was very good, the portion size was so small that after our $400+ meal we had to stop at Shake Shack so as to satisfy our hunger, and we’re not big eaters. Disappointment #2: We were celebrating our anniversary and I asked the bartender if it would be possible for my wife to have a fillet, even though it wasn’t on the bar menu. After checking with the chef we we told no, even though we had just listened to the manager express to his team the importance of making each diners experience the best possible. On the plus side, the bartender was great and the overall service was excellent. All-in-all we would not chose this restaurant again. It was just not the experience we had hoped for.

This was truly an outstanding dining experience. There's no other way to put it. Emeril's son warmly greeted us after our meal celebrating a 50th birthday and the personal attention by everyone there was nothing short of outstanding. I can't wait to eat here again on my next trip to New Orleans.

Between the two of us, we enjoyed both the 3-course and 7-course meals. The presentation experience was wonderful. The staff was always stopping by and was very helpful. It was interesting watching the professionalism of the staff as they went about their business.
