Passion for sharing a culture we fell in love with through the food we eat and the experiences we share. Opened in 2010, Enoteca Sociale has become a mainstay for Italian Cuisine in the Toronto, built on the philosophy of making simple & honest Roman cuisine that can be shared with friends and family.

Through the years, Enoteca Sociale has evolved to offer a wider food offering comprised of traditional Roman dishes like Cacio e Pepe, l’Amatriciana and Carbonara. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. The Italian-focused wine list includes varietals that are rarely available elsewhere in Ontario and represent the entire country of Italy.

    Four bar seats overlooking the kitchen, with a set menu curated by Chef Rindinella. An exciting tasting menu, with optional wine pairings, for 2-4 guests for a one of a kind experience highlighting our current favourite dishes. We offer two seatings nightly, at 6pm & 9pm. Dinner is $90 per guest & there is an automatic gratuity of 20%. While we are able to accommodate most allergies & restrictions, we do not currently offer vegetarian options to this menu.

    We sat at the chef’s bar counter and had an amazing experience. We ordered a la carte- try the linguine with zucchini and lobster. Service was flawless and there is a buzzy feel in the restaurant. Thank you for a memorable visit!

    Pretty disappointed with the food. The zucchini flower was like cardboard - flavorless. The fava bean soup with dandelions was surprisingly bitter. And the rabbit ragu pasta was uninspiring. Highly recommend the wild mushroom pasta dish though. Service was mediocre. So many wonderful italian-style restaurants in the city, this one just didn't meet the hype we expected.

    We were very fortunate to have Foster & Kyle take care of us .Every menu choice we made was exceptional. It was great to see some unusual but amazing dishes like Fave e Ciccoria on the menu & made perfectly. lOur night was very relaxed & incredibly enjoyable . Always a great experience at Enoteca !! Our out of town guests loved the meal & experience. Thanks

    A great experience all around. The service was attentive and friendly: provided great wine and menu recommendations. Burrata salad very fresh and herbaceous, highly recommend. Gnocchi texture with smoked cheese was a stand out. Portions were slightly small but high quality. Will go again!

    Normally hard to get a reservation àt this delightful restaurant; but, here's a secret: we booked through Open Table on Friday for a Sunday evening and had no issues getting a pleasant table on the patio. Service was excellent, food was delicious. We shared a salad. My wife had the Cacio Pepe and I ordered spaghetti carbonara which isn't on the menu; but they're always willing to make it. A chocolate desert finished us off. Manager came over and happily talked to us. The bill was quite reasonable for a Michelin "recommended restaurant" Altogether, a lovely evening. Highly recommended. It's a minor matter, but the patio umbrellas are sponsored and look cheap.

    Excellent and attentive service from knowledgeable servers. It was VERY loud, even on a Sunday night. Happy for the restaurant but good to know in case you are hard of hearing. The zucchini flowers and chicken were terrific. Pasta portion was small and overly oily for my liking but I appreciated very much that they had a gluten free (and delicious!) noodle option.

    Portions are very small but good. I’d recommend the duck mouse as an app but zucchini flower was a one bite deal and cost $6 each…way overpriced. My group agreed it wasn’t somewhere we needed to return.

    We are at the chefs table. So good. The chicken dish was the best chicken I have ever had. I love their focaccia bread. Pasta is fresh. Chocolate torta was amazing. If I lived closer to Toronto it would be my go to restaurant

    The hostess was not friendly at all, which really starts off the mood of the evening. The waiter we had though, was great at least. We chose outside and it was absolutely freezing and the food got cold wuick - the patio definely needs to have some heaters as all of the diners were complaining about the cold. Food was good, about a 7/10.

    Beautiful space, very friendly and patient service. Music was way too loud, unnecessarily so, the place otherwise doesn’t have a clubbish vibe and wasn’t even full at the time we ate, but the music was so loud we couldn’t hold a conversation or even comment to each other about the food. It’s a shame, because it diminishes an otherwise excellent atmosphere and instead gives the place a feeling of trying too hard to be something it’s not. Great wine by the glass selection and great menu. Loved all the food we had except for the lobster pasta which was underwhelming - it simply lacked enough flavor.

    Terrible experience, the host was very persistent we leave at a certain time didn’t greet us just reiterated that we needed to leave by a certain time and sat us and walked away with no menus. The server then proceeded to bring champagne and spilt it all over myself and proceeded to say that’s not my fault , never apologized and the whole experience was not what we had hoped for our night out for our friends birthday.

    Fantastic food, knowledgable service, and cute decor/location. Our server was extremely knowledgable and was able to provide rich descriptions of everything on the menu. My only critique was that he was perhaps too effusive in his praise, making it difficult to select which item to take. Our eventual meal was delicious and fresh. The bill was moderately priced - expect to spend $50-75 per person on a meal with appetizers, an entree, and wine. Overall - a great experience, would recommend this spot!
