Enoteca Sociale is built on passion.
Passion for sharing a culture we fell in love with through the food we eat and the experiences we share. Opened in 2010, Enoteca Sociale has become a mainstay for Italian Cuisine in the Toronto, built on the philosophy of making simple & honest Roman cuisine that can be shared with friends and family.

Through the years, Enoteca Sociale has evolved to offer a wider food offering comprised of traditional Roman dishes like Cacio e Pepe, l’Amatriciana and Carbonara. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. The Italian-focused wine list includes varietals that are rarely available elsewhere in Ontario and represent the entire country of Italy.

Four bar seats overlooking the kitchen, with a set menu curated by Chef Rindinella. An exciting tasting menu, with optional wine pairings, for 2-4 guests for a one of a kind experience highlighting our current favourite dishes. We offer two seatings nightly, at 6pm & 9pm. Dinner is $100 per guest & there is an automatic gratuity of 20%. If the Chef's Table is booked, please contact events@sociale.ca to book the experience at a regular table. While we are able to accommodate most allergies & restrictions, we do not currently offer vegetarian options to this menu. **If you are looking to pay via giftcard for this experience, please reach out to events@sociale.ca to make your booking.

The food was good, not amazing. It was loud in the restaurant and we did not like our table. When we asked for a bigger table the hostess was very unaccommodating. Not impressed that we paid so much for our meal and had to sit at a very small round table.

The service is exceptional, but the taste of the food didn’t meet my expectations based on the reviews. Given the price, I found it didn’t offer the value I was hoping for.

The food was good. The service was good. The place is a bit noisy and it can become difficult to hear each other. I found the portion sizes quite small and the experience would be better if the portions were larger. I will individually rate everything we have ordered. 1. Negroni: 7/10 - They claimed to make the best Negroni in the city, I have to disagree. 2. Tomato & Strawberries Salad: 7.5/10 - It was quite tasty but I would appreciate it if the portion size was not that small. They literally sliced up a single strawberry for the whole salad. 3. Bucatini: 7/10 - It was good. I wish I went for Cacio e Pepe instead though. 4. Tagliatelle: 8.5/10 - This was by far the best dish I had there. They should be giving you more lamb considering the fact that this is a $33 dish. The amount of lamb was very littleZ 5. Tiramisu: 8/10 - I liked the tiramisu. It is not the best but it is good. Also the size of the tiramisu was surprisingly large compared to all the other food. 6. La Palazzetta Rosso Di Montalcino 2020: 7.5/10 - The wine was very good. I just don’t think it was $120 good. However, if you have budget of over $100 for wine, I can recommend this wine. You will not be disappointed if you like medium to full bodied red wine. We were given a full sourdough bread on the house, which was very nice. I would like to thank the restaurant for that. I will visit again to try their Cacio e Pepe and Gnocchi.
