Passion for sharing a culture we fell in love with through the food we eat and the experiences we share. Opened in 2010, Enoteca Sociale has become a mainstay for Italian Cuisine in the Toronto, built on the philosophy of making simple & honest Roman cuisine that can be shared with friends and family.

Through the years, Enoteca Sociale has evolved to offer a wider food offering comprised of traditional Roman dishes like Cacio e Pepe, l’Amatriciana and Carbonara. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. The Italian-focused wine list includes varietals that are rarely available elsewhere in Ontario and represent the entire country of Italy.

    Four bar seats overlooking the kitchen, with a set menu curated by Chef Rindinella. An exciting tasting menu, with optional wine pairings, for 2-4 guests for a one of a kind experience highlighting our current favourite dishes. We offer two seatings nightly, at 6pm & 9pm. Dinner is $100 per guest & there is an automatic gratuity of 20%. If the Chef's Table is booked, please contact events@sociale.ca to book the experience at a regular table. While we are able to accommodate most allergies & restrictions, we do not currently offer vegetarian options to this menu.

    I’ve been dying to come here and I’m so glad I did! Happy to hear they were open on Monday. Ambience was perfect for date night. Service was attentive and welcoming. They are known for their pastas and now I know why! Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

    The food was good, however, our server really hindered our experience. From the moment we sat down he mentioned the following reservation and that we needed to be finished at certain time. He continued, after each course, to remind us of our time limit, which we found strange for this calibre of restaurant. It was not a relaxing evening out by any means as we constantly were watching the clock.

    Let me start off with the good. The bads at the end. We’ll def. be back. Overall service: AMAZING. Staffs were attentive. Water glass is never empty. We always get checked on. We ordered tasting menu $80/pp+Wine pairing $45/pp. Upgraded our main to Ribeye for $35/pp. we ordered an extra dish, chicken liver mousse for $17. Whole bill was $386.46 with tax. Arancini - This is amazing. A must try. Burrata Salad chicken liver mousse $17. Paid extra. Portion is good. They made the chicken mousse very smooth good. A must try item. Lightly toasted toast but too soft to my liking. but this is my personal preference. Bucatini all' Amatriciana - This is very good. I can’t find the name of the dish from their website. See photo. That one is very good. Ribeye extra $35/pp to substitute This dish was a huge disappointment. I don’t think we were given a ribeye but a striploin. We even asked (I believe is) the manager if it’s a ribeye and he said it is. If this is really a ribeye then it is not a good tasting ribeye. It tasted just like a striploin. If it’s a striploin it tasted fine. In the regular menu, it cost $100 for this ribeye. You get much better value and taste if you go to the Keg ($65 I think). The salt wasn’t distributed evenly. Half of the steak was very salty. Also we asked for medium rare and it came out medium. Other than these the steak itself was ok. Wine pairing. Overall not bad for value but will order by the glass next time. $45 you can’t expect much. 1 thing that bothered us, at 7pm we were told to be quick with our meal & they needed the table. We were waiting for our dessert which came at 7:05pm. There were 3 empty tables. We left at 7:20. We were outside the restaurant til 7:40 & still 3 empty tables. I know technically we only have 2 hrs. I can understand if ppl are waiting.but if no one is waiting what’s the point of asking us to be quick. Note that they didn’t ask us to leave but just to be quick. Staff said it nicely but I find this unnecessary.

    Had a great experience at Enoteca Sociale. The service was wonderful and attentive and so very personable. The food, absolutely delicious and the Chef is such a wonderful man - he made so much time for us even though he didn’t have to. We loved the duck salad, the Cacio e pepe, the scallop dish I can’t remember the name of and even the dessert - the most moist cake - was wonderful. We will be back to try the Branzino, arancini and so many other dishes next.

    Amazing experience at the Chef’s table. Each course was amazing. The love and attention to detail in every dish is obvious. Loved the rabbit ragu, duck breast and beat app. Every bite was delicious, beautiful and well executed. We also chose the wine pairing, which was so reasonably priced everyone should do it IMO. We are already planning a return on our next trip to Toronto.

    The food and service was great. My only criticism is that we felt rushed. The appetizer and main course were served at the same time which left little time to enjoy our wine and relax a bit. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was delicious though

    Service was friendly and attentive. Food was great and the quality was fantastic. We went for an anniversary and it’s a great place for special occasions. Only thing I would want it better bathrooms, but I think the restaurant is restricted to the space they have. Amazing experience, will definitely be back.

    I found the wine was significantly over-priced. My wife and I felt that we were being rushed throughout the meal; it was unnecessary. The pasta was prepared perfectly al dente. Otherwise, we found our experience at Enoteca Sociale to be unsatisfactory. We shan’t return.

    This was hands down one of the best meals I have had. You can taste the freshness in every dish served. We watched as the kitchen staff attentively made sure everything was perfect before sending it out to the dining room. The pasta was phenomenal, the chicken was perfect. The burrata salad is a must! Desert was just as good. The coffee was fresh, the cannoli was just right. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was beyond exceptional. Everyone on the floor is attentive and not once did we need to look up before our cups were refilled with water. They are so on the ball that we made a game of it to see how quick someone would come back to refill. We left saying wow, and only to find out after the fact that this is a Michelin star restaurant. This is very well priced and I will definitely be back.

    Intimate birthday dinner for my husband. Our first time here. We had the tasting menu. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive. Adding a candle to the dessert was a thoughtful touch.

    Delicious food, good service, however the noise level was untenable. Everyone was virtually yelling to be heard above the music and competing voices. We were head to head at the bar and grew hoarse trying to speak. Not a pleasant way to enjoy a meal. For this reason, I would not recommend the restaurant despite the great food. I will wait for the patio during the warmer season. Ironically, this ambience would not be acceptable in Italy.

    Forgettable experience. Nothing felt noteworthy or particularly delicious. The sourdough bread was good but everything else was not memorable… not bad but not great either. The tables are tiny and somewhat uncomfortable. It was very cold near the entrance. Overall nothing to write home about. May try it again just to see if maybe it was a one night thing…

    The food was excellent with the pasta being the standout course for the evening. It was unfortunate that the front of house experience fell well short. It was obvious from the beginning that they cared more about turning the table over versus providing a positive dining experience. We were actually asked about our drink order before I had even had a chance to sit down. We were then told that we had a 2 hour limit shortly after our appetizers had arrived. The culmination was when the host brought our bill and told us “people were waiting for the table”. It wouldn’t have been a big deal other than the fact that there were tables available AND no one was actually waiting!!
