   Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo prenotato per l'esperienza "Chef's table" e scelta migliore non potevamo farla! Chef's table offre l'opportunità di cenare ad un tavolo di fronte alla cucina con le portate scelte , servite e spiegate dello Chef stesso. Siamo rimasti colpiti subito dalla professionalità dello staff del ristorante dove ogni singolo componente non ha mai perso tempo ma ha sempre lavorato rendendosi disponibile per i clienti in ogni momento. Servizio : Siamo rimasti entusiasti da come tutto lo staff fosse preparato nella conoscenza dei piatti e delle bevande offerte dal ristorante, cosa non scontata qui a Toronto. Il nostro cameriere nonostante fosse molto busy per la quantità di tavoli di quella sera , è stato in grado di coccolarci per tutta la durata dell'esperienza. Posate e piatti sono sempre stati cambiati tra un pasto e l'altro . Cucina Altra cosa di cui siamo rimasti molto colpiti è stato come la cucina nonostante fosse piccola sembrasse sempre armoniosa grazie alla pulizia l'ordine e la bravura dello staff. Ognuno aveva il suo compito, nessuno perdeva tempo, tutto rimaneva sempre curato e pulito e tutti rispettavano lo Chef. È stato bellissimo poter mangiare con vista sulla cucina e la sua armonia. Cibo Non ho parole per descrive quanto siamo stati contenti di poter mangiare vero Italiano a Toronto. Prima volta in cui piango per la contentezza e i ricordi che mi da una pasta. Ci avete riportati a casa, a Roma. Tocco di classe con pane, mortadella e focaccia fatto in casa! Vi auguriamo di prendere una stella Michelin ! Grazie ancora Federica e Andrea

   The food and portion sizes were absolutely perfect. The in-house marinated olives were divine. I’ll definitely be back for the spaghetti cacio e pepe!

   It was overall an okay experience... We ordered three appetizers, three main and a desert. Issue #1 : It took the server about 15 minutes to notice us and 20-25 minutes to give us a glass of water. Issue #2 : Tables are SO close together, could hear conversation from everywhere around us. Issue #3 : Our wine order was wrong, and instead of having someone to replace it immediately we had to wait another 10 minutes to get an attention, then another 10 minutes to get the right wine. Issue #4 : When we got our main dish, it was one thing that it was very late (which we were trying to understand because of the given traffic) our order was wrong AGAIN. At this point, neither of us wanted to wait another hour to get the correct order after 20 minutes of waiting time for the wine to be exchanged. (It also didn't help that the server didn't offer any options, she instead just said , "sorry") Issue #5 : It was impossible to get the server's attention. Perhaps it was due to the crowdedness, which is understandable. However, we had higher expectations for this restaurant given its glorious reviews.

   We’ve been coming for the last decade and it’s so nice to see Enoteca still thriving. We had our anniversary dinner here on a Wednesday night and it was a packed dining room. Food was lovely as always. Service was pleasant. Would highly recommend.

   Staff were unfriendly. Bar seats felt like you were part of the dish pit with the servers cleaning cutlery in front of you the whole time. The individual who brought our food couldn’t explain what it was and said “sorry, someone else will come to explain” and then they never did.

    The service and food was amazing. From the wine options, the pasta and the burata salad. Make sure to order the olives and bread at the beginning. I would definitely go back.

    Great experience overall. We loved the complexity of the flavours and the quality of the food. The only thing that disappointed was the gnocchi. Softest gnocchi I’ve ever had but the rest of the dish (sauce, etc) is missing flavour. Very plain compared to the rest of the dishes.

    Everything I have had from the menu is delicious. Excellent and warm service consistently. Beautiful ambiance, I can't wait to try their patio in the summer. I would only note that the portion sizes are quite small for the price.

    Last night we sat at the Chef's Table at Enoteca Sociale and we have not stopped talking about our experience. Every bite was an adventure, from the house made olives to the delectable goose Monetoni, to the lemon infused, pistachio encrusted cannoli. Chef Kyle's soft spoken demeanour created a lovely atmosphere that extended not only to every dish detail, but to us and the staff as well. Overall, a truly delightful evening.

    Our server Frankie was spectacular, as were the rest of the staff. Food was pretty good. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The dishes and drinks kept coming and we were really full at the end.

    Enoteca sociale always gives you a reason to come back. The service is attentive, yet not overbearing. The staff is knowledgeable but not pretentious. The food has always been delicious and nothing on the menu has ever disappointed. This place is great if you want to spend a little more for a lovely evening. At the same time, the pastas are affordable and certainly worth the price. Highly recommended.

    Food was delicious a little noisy. One tip when ordering wine they have a taste size and a glass size I really meant to order the taste size and said glass without knowing this and ended up spending $38 on 2 glasses of wine when I thought it was $12 each, so watch out.

    Enoteca Sociale is a gem. Not in your typical downtown location, it is worth finding as it is terrific on a number of fronts - quality of menu, efficient and knowledgeable service, energy/ambiance that is fun and friendly, and a good value for your dollar. Its definitely a "two thumbs up" experience.

    We love this restaurant. The food is great and the service is wonderful - friendly and knowledgeable. The best thing in the world is to just let the chef feed you. You get the best of the best and its like they can read your minds - not too much just the right amount and at a nice pace that does not overwhelm.

    I've come here several times over many years when I'm in Toronto but it seems to have become quite mediocre. In the beginning, it was a very special Italian wine bar but it has reverted to the mean.

    Rather unassuming setting does well to keep the focus on the fantastic food. The team was accomodating and figured out a way to fit in a last minute 5th to our 4 person reso. Well designed menu ensured there's something for everyone. Cheese platter starter was delicious, generous and offered a range of cheeses that complemented each other, it just didn't feel very "Italian". The preserved tuna is not to be missed. Smoked pasta and braised rabbit rigatoni were a hit at our table, we were still talking about it the next morning. Will be going back very soon!

    Great food and ambience...we were in a group and shared the salumi, tuna and sausage, all of which were delicious. I had the bucatini for my main and I would definitely go back for it. I would love to see them change up the menu more frequently and/or have some features but otherwise everything was great.

    The food was delicious, especially the raw beef/marrow. The pasta dishes were made perfectly and the rapini was an exceptional side. A friend picked the wine this time, but I normally like to ask the server to pair with the meals. The service was outstanding even after putting up with our crazy requests. Without hesitation would I recommend Enoteca Sociale for a wonderful dinner out.

    Everything was terrific when I went. Service, food, and wine. Decor is really nice, as well. The bread basket we got before the meal was unreal. That Red Fife sourdough bread could make a meal in itself. My appetizer special was delicious, and the striploin was perfectly cooked. I look forward to my next visit.

    We had an excellent meal and wine, and our server was excellent. The apps were excellent (arancini, albacore tune conserva), the gnocci was superb (light clouds in an excellent sauce), and the steak, except for an inedible/uncuttable bit running through it, was very good. As for the ambiance: We were in a cold spot next to the large windows on one of the coldest days of the year - not very comfortable. We asked to be moved between courses and there was no hesitation - all of our items were moved over quickly and we were warm again! All things considered it was an excellent meal.

    by far the best service I have received at a restaurant. Every restaurant has friendly wait staff and the service is good, but here, it is exceptional. They have a good ratio of wait staff to the number of tables. I never got a chance to pour my own water or wine. The food is delicious as well. A great combination.
