    We had a reservation at 10:30 but arrived early, and were seated. Very creative in their cocktails and had a variety of those. Asked for a spicy Caesar and it was very good. Server also brought me additional sauces if the Caesar was not spicy enough. Breakfast was delicious; had never had a cornmeal pancake before and it was very good - hearty and had substance to it. Nice jams for the sourdough bread as well. Excellent service. Thank you.

    This is the one restaurant I tell visitors of Vancouver they must go to! I always take friends and family here. Food is next level. Service is top notch. Love love love.

    After served us dishes, our waitress disappeared. Even no more water refilled. But our neighbors get their water or coffee refilled frequently. It’s made us unwelcome, though we’ve still paid the tips for that ridiculous service.

    Our meals were flavourful and well cooked. We got the duck meatball to start and pork belly gnocchi and duck breast for our mains. Everything was so delicious. Really enjoyed the relaxed but romantic ambience. Perfect for date night. Loved it!

    Great dishes at a very decent price! We were there for lunch and my wife had the steak and eggs, which was very good. I had a burger which was really good, but I did have 2 points that could be improved: the bun was ok, needed to be a bit warmer and crunchier for my taste, and the pattie was delicious, but a bit dry. In any case, wonderful place and good food, would definitely go back again!

    The gnocchi is always delicious especially with the pork belly addition. The servers is just wonderful. And if there is a lemon meringue or parfait on offer buy it!

    Fable has been a favorite of ours for many years. We ate there on our return to Vancouver after 3 years, and were happy to see it had survived the pandemic. The food quality was good and the service was excellent. The only disappointment was my favorite menu item and the one that was so unique to Fable, the exploding duck meatball with the gushing creamy filling and parm foam had been changed to a regular meatball - no more liquid center! Sad to see it gone....

    Havent been back in a while but the food is still as delicious as ever. The feature cocktail was also really good (some type of whiskey sour topped with red wine)

    We all had the vegan Benny. Eggs were perfectly poached. However there was a strong taste - almost vinegary - which rather spoiled the overall taste. Great server!

    Fantastic Evening Food, service, price point! A bit loud, but I’m getting old. Our server was so attentive, but he didn’t finish up with his shift! We missed his attention to our table at the last hour. But NOTHING IS WRONG with Fable Restaurant

    We are from out of town and found Fable by searching for a farm to table restaurant. Holly provided outstanding service along with the rest of the staff. Quality cocktails and wine. The food all had fantastic presentation. We had the duck meatball and burrata salad which were had delicious, fresh flavors. Our main courses were Ling Cod and and Duck. The cod had explosive flavors that worked extremely well together. The duck was over celeriac purée with beans and sauce which were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

    The chickpea fritters were exceptional. My friend and I shared the duck which was also excellent. We also shared the special braised beef. I found it quite dry and a bit tough.

    Our server actually made the night. He was extremely attentive, respectful, knowledgeable and had great energy in his delivery. We were there for a special occasion and he did not disappoint! Food was great, drink’s good and ambience /seating was nice. Definitely will go back again. Thank you very much!

    Besides having a hair in my friend’s food (I’m surprised they didn’t comp her, just replaced her meal, no real apology either) the waitress wasn’t very attentive. Busy day. Mains were good, scones and cookies were tiny!

    Some unusual ways of preparing and presenting food. Not for those who want a traditional meal. I am allergic to onion so the server informed me which items could be made without onion. I appreciated that. Not much space between tables so noise can be an issue. The server kept our water glasses topped up which was great.

    Oh I love this place. I haven’t been since the Covid shut down in March 2020. It was fantastic to return. Everything was wonderful. Price is high, quality top notch, service fantastic and ambience Wonderful..

    I wanted to LOVE it, but...we had signed up for the "experience" which the hostess seemed clueless about. We had to flag down someone to explain what we would have. The dishes were presented w barely an explanation, and the wine pairings were the same. Ill-timed and lackluster. I have been to other "chefs' experiences" that were much more thoughtful and tasty. The entrance and waiting area was beside the noisy kitchen - with no chef making any effort to minimize the banging of the pans and the yelling. Pricy too - for what we got.

    Compared to an awesome recent dinner experience this lunch was quite disappointing. My BLT had poor presentation and somewhat bland taste. Too bad. Server was very good.
