    Been here a few times and it is always a pleasure, but our latest visit was by far the best experience yet! Our long-time favourites were somehow even more delicious and nuanced. The staff are attentive and thoughtful and the ambience is elevated yet relaxed. Highly recommend.

    It was a lovely dinner overall. Only comments would be that 1) it was a bit loud and 2) it would be nice for servers to make suggestions of pairings of dishes and 3) it would be nice to have more dessert options. While a family style dinner is good, we found not all the proteins paired well with all the side dishes, and so I wish they would have a full dish served where I know flavours will be balanced, or else to make suggestions for which pairings are best. The food itself was quite tasty otherwise. The drink menu is outstanding.

    Food and service was outstanding. The atmosphere was very good with a full restaurant. Definitely feel that some sound absorbers would help as the decibel level was high. The gnocchi and pork belly and the duck meatballs were exceptional! A must try...

    Though the menu is limited but as vegetarian all things we had were delicious. Infact they offered to modify salad and Gnocchi for us which was just wonderful. Definitely coming back soon.

    Was out of stock on one daily special (prime rib steak) and Duck breast was also sold out from regular menu at 7:30 The restaurant was very noisy and it was difficult to chat with dinner guests Servicer was excellent!!!!

    Inventive and tasty food creativity......exceptional flavours! Totally satisfying meal without any non-vegetarian protein options. Perfect for sharing to sample multiple dishes. Limited menu, which is appreciated as focus is on fewer, but imaginative dishes. Kudos!

    I was disappointed that it was not the same as it used to be. I was quite surprised to only get one piece of toast Since when did a standard bacon and eggs breakfast become only one piece of toast versus two pieces? The portion size also seemed smaller than before. The jam was good though

    Underwheling experoence overall. Long wait to be seated, in spite of having a reservation and that the restaurant was only half full at the time. Further long wait to be served water, let aline the wait for my cocktail to be delivered. Specials were sold out by 7.30pm. Food was mediocre, steak was charred, cold and very tough. There is no waiting space at the entrance, except sandwiched between the grill and the front window, which is awkward. Nothing I experienced makes me want to return for a repeat. Disappointing, since the menu looked great and I had high expectations, given the nod from the Michelin crew. Ah well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Smallish dining room was a bit cramped, super loud and over-cooled, both of which are not great for enjoying the food. But to their credit, the food overcomes those challenges. The dishes are all interesting takes on excellent produce and proteins; many are great, some are good, and a few were head scratchers, but you have to appreciate the thoughtfulness. We had a party of five and ordered about two thirds of the small menu. I appreciated the focus of the limited menu— it shows discipline given the available ingredients and space. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, helpful, warm.

    We had the best time in Fable !! We were sitting at the bar in front of the kitchen which made our experience even better, a bit hot though because of everything happening there. Their food is delicious and their staff is friendly, kind and willing to make your dining experience something special. With no doubt we would recommend visiting Fable.

    Cute place. Bread was great, drinks were good. Ordered the duck, steak and rapini salad for entrees. Duck was great and served at the same time as the steak. Steak was well undercooked and sent back to the kitchen to cook to medium rare as requested. Rapini salad was served after duck was eaten and then steak was served again(still under cooked and over half the steak was fat) and after all food had been consumed.

    A few weeks ago, we had an excellent dinner at Fable. Everything was perfect: from the food to the service. Yesterday, we went back and ordered the same menu. It was disappointing. The rapinis were so old and tough that it was impossible to swallow. We told the waitress. She immediately walked away - presumably to tell the chef. Never heard back from her on the issue. The gnocchi dish was 1/3 smaller than before and it was too "saucy". The cod was nice and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. But again, it was sitting in too much sauce. Our waitress tried her best but she was inexperienced.

    We were greeted with a friendly simile as we entered the restaurant. Despite a limited menu the four people at our table enjoyed what we ordered. The service was prompt. The food was well presented and delicious…. except for the pork belly bacon but that’s because I’m not a fan of it. The background music was at a tolerable soft level so that we could enjoy our conversation without shouting. It was a fun place to have brunch. Will try it for dinner one night.

    The food was great. The duck meatball and the pasta that come with it was so tasty. The halibut and clam is so fresh and cooked to the right. Our server Michael was excellent. He was friendly and provided good recommendations. Will definitely come back again.
