The Longest Standing Restaurant In Greektown, Detroit​Brothers Niko and Vasili Dionysopoulos came to America in the late 60’s. They started by selling produce to the Greek churches and then to the businesses in Greektown. They opened Apollo Market on Harper Ave in 1968 till 1970. Then they purchased the Golden Fleece on April 7th 1970. They worked ’till the late 2000’s. Their sons Spero and Yanni took over the family business and remodeled the building and concept after 50 years to continue to give Metro Detroit the authentic Greek experience and hospitality. Now they’re reopening the staple grocery and bakery next door bring the latest and finest Greek imports.The Dionysopoulos family would like to thank all of you for these amazing 50 years and looking forward to the next 50!

The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz. The front entrance leads guests to the elegant front dining room with the stage being the focal point. The back entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Lunch has its own unique offerings, and the Bar offers distinct offerings for Happy Hour. An extensive wine list is housed in a state of the art cellar with private lockers. Dress code is business casual at a minimum, and is strictly enforced. Please dress accordingly

    Had a reservation for 9 for lunch on Black Friday. Marcella was our server, bartender and food runner and she did a great job. The drinks were delicious and everyone enjoyed their tacos. We will definitely be back again.

    We’re Detroiters …meaning we live in the city. This is our favorite restaurant. The service, the food and the ambiance are unmatched. Thank you to our server Shelly for always being so kind and delightful. Thanks to Matt for always welcoming us and making us feel like special guest. Last night, we had a dozen oysters that were the best I’ve ever had. We kept it light and had the French onion soup for the entree, delicious. Several cocktails later our night was done. Another great CC experience. Until next time!
