Best Brunch Restaurants in Ancaster

Our first time there for an impromptu Holiday staff celebration for 4 ppl. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our server was phenomenal, the room temperature was comfortable (can be cool in some restaurants), the ambiant music was at a comfortable level while not distracting or interupting our conversation, the seating was comfy, the decor is classy, sophisticated and elegant, and the food was scrumptious. The wine list had a good mix of wines from various regions, and the delicious mocktail list enabled our co-op student to feel included in our toast & celebration. The Standard really made our experience today. Kudos all around!

Another wonderful dinner p. Fish tacos…stuffed with delicious toppings…burger was cooked perfectly…hot fries…had dessert…dulce cheesecake…drinks…excellent..,service from Connie was great…thanks to Brittany for helping to make it a great night…

We truly enjoyed our whole experience at Ancaster Mill. I hadn't been there in many many years so wasn't sure what to expect. From arriving to leaving the staff were courteous, prompt, engaging, and the meal was fantastic. I had the Yellowfish Tuna which was prepared perfectly and my partner had surf and turf with mashed potatoes which was so yummy. To top it off we had Butternut Squash Cake which is twist on Carrot cake...LOVED IT. We are looking forward to going back in the new year for another date night.

We had dinner here tonight and it was an experience we won't forget. The vibe of the place was perfect, with an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. What really made the night special, though, was the service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, without being intrusive. They were able to answer all of our questions with enthusiasm, which made it easy to trust their recommendations. Special thank you to the manager, Nick, who came to check in on us throughout the night and made sure we had a great experience! We started with their espresso martinis which were amazing and the best way to start the meal. For mains, we went with the lamb chops and the steak, which were both tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We also got the lobster ravioli which was decadent and had just the right about of lobster. To end the night, our server suggested the tiramisu, and I’m so glad we listened. It was everything you’d want in a dessert, and a more than generous portion. Between the fantastic food, the ambiance, and the stellar hospitality, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back soon!
