Food was delicious. My husband had the lamb chop, I had the bold BLT and my son had the steak and fries. We also had the garlic steak bites and bruschetta. The bruschetta came late as did the steak garlic bites, but they gave us another order of steak garlic bites at no charge. We also didn’t get water until we asked, despite water glasses on the table. Our server was attentive and friendly. I think the kitchen was a bit short-staffed thinking they might not have as big of a crowd on Halloween. Ambiance was great and management followed up with us promptly. This is my second time there and we will be back.

Lore is one of my absolute favorite spots for a night out. As a busy mom whose spouse works the opposite shift, it’s hard to get time away for a date night, but every time we can we head straight to Lore. The bartenders are great, the food is always a hit and I love the atmosphere. Matt, the GM is also wonderful and super responsive. Bonus points because it’s a quick walk down to Highlands Whiskey Bar. The whole St. Anne’s operation is awesome!

In our party of 4, only I had been to Louie Louie before. We were dazzled! We started with oysters on the half shell, roasted bone marrow (exceptional) and steak tartare. Mains were all delicious and well presented: Flounder Françsise, Verlasso salmon, moules frites and Mediterranean bronzino. Desserts were Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and cookies and cream trifle. A splendid meal!
