    The tasting menu at Nupo was a solid 10/10 — easily one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had in Calgary. Our standout dishes were: 🍽️ Sakana Croquette – A smoky, flavour-packed fish croquette that had incredible depth. One bite and we were hooked. 🍣 Chopped Fish & Crispy Nori – Think of a tiny fried cannoli, but filled with savoury perfection. The crisp was spot on, and the filling? Unreal. 🥩 Sushi Grade Omakase Tartare – We added this on a whim and wow — worth every penny. Rich, fresh, and beautifully seasoned. And of course, the nigiri — I think I’ve officially fallen in love with aged fish. The sablefish and bluefin ootoro were absolute standouts. They literally melted in your mouth like butter 😩 Highly recommend if you’re looking for something refined but full of soul.
