Visited Gyu-Kaku Flushing location and the service was exceptional. Five stars for the food and A huge thank you to our server, Matthew for making our night so special. Matthew gave us great menu recommendations, checked in at just the right moments, and made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish.

An absolute gem for fresh bivalves and standout cocktails. Coming into this spot for happy hour completely exceeded expectations. We started with a dozen raw oysters that were impeccably shucked, ice-cold, and packed with just the right amount of ocean brine. You can genuinely taste the freshness, and the accompanying cocktail sauce added a crisp, bright kick without overpowering the seafood. On the drink side, the cocktail menu delivers just as much as the raw bar. My drink was balanced, artfully presented, and mixed with top-tier spirits rather than hidden under heavy syrups or mixers. The vibe strikes that ideal balance of lively and relaxed, and the service was attentive from the second we walked in. Whether you are dropping in for a quick round of shells and a drink after work or settling in for a full evening, this place is well worth the visit.
