- JJenny TToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMains - well balanced flavours overall. Fresh. The steak was SO tender but did not feel too fattie. I don’t mind spice at all, but if you do not, def recommend without the shishito peppers & spicy mayo. Dessert- if you like it more sweet, chocolate dessert is the way to go. the chocolate ones are definitely too sweet for the typical Asian person’s palate. However, the mango sorbet dish was divine and refreshing. The earl grey gelato for the Mille fueille was deep , rich and very very flavourful. I would buy a pint of this if I could!More infoAkira BackPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Entertainment District•4.8

- MMarlaToronto / Ontario •18 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was delicious. Highly recommend the fried chicken; a generous portion, juicy, crispy and complimented by the zippy hot sauce on the side. The truffle burger was charred on the outside and med-rare on the inside; my husband said the charred outside taste was too strong and took away from the truffle taste. Enjoyed the sides we ordered; from the crispy butternut squash (slightly crispy on the outside, soft and melty on the inside), to the (salty) triple cooked fries. Our server was attentive and made some good suggestions. Overall, really enjoyed our dinner out.More infoAloettePrice: Expensive• Bistro• Entertainment District•4.7
- NNICKToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu at Alo. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious and exciting. I tried the 7 wine pairing menu which was diverse and educational ranging from sake to whites, reds, and sweet wines. The tables are large and well spaced so it's easy for intimate conversations. Great value. We'll be back!More infoAlo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• International• Entertainment District•4.9
- JJeffNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024Patria is absolutely divine. The ambience and decor and lighting are all designed to provide a comfortable and comforting setting for the enjoyment of their exquisite food. Every dish we've eaten there is delicious, interesting, well-conceived in terms of texture and flavour, and perfectly satisfying, i.e. filling without being too much. The range of options on the menu is extensive, and the wait staff is helpful for navigating the sometimes-confusing experience of ordering in a small-plates restaurant. Service is super fast, so if you want a long evening to linger with your companions, it's up to you to eat slow (or order the paella, which take 45 minutes to prepare).More infoPatriaPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• King West•4.6
