Best Vegan Restaurants in Cabbagetown

F'Amelia is our, bar none, favourite restaurant. The menu is always inviting, changing with the season. Wine choices are appealing and so is the range of creative cocktails. Service is always excellent with thoughtful recommendations and attention to detail. We shared a Burrata and beet salad to start with great mains (pizza chef excels) and a chocolate delight for dessert. I'm impressed that a new course come with fresh cutlery, a high end touch! We'll be back!

Avelo offers an 8-course tasting menu that was fully plant-based and “wow” it did not disappoint. When looking at the main ingredients of each dish it was nearly impossible to I vision how it was going to be prepared and transformed. The dishes offered such diverse flavor profiles that truly transformed the original ingredients. There were dishes that had ingredients that I have always been opposed to but due to the creativity and innovation of the chef they ended up being some of our favorite dishes. The atmosphere was well relaxed, dim lighting, and lovely music. The waitress offered so much information per each dish which I always appreciated. Having the 8 dish tasting was much more filling than I anticipated as well. Overall, it was worth coming from upstate NY to spend a night in Toronto and dine with Avelo.

The food was quite tasty and portion sizes were great.

Everything was made with care and love because you could taste it. Servers were absolutely wonderful. Out of all the things we tried -- our favorite things were the eggplant parm, focaccia, you must get the ricotta, and the sweet potato cheesecake was absolutely special. :)

Wonderful staff and great food. It was a busy time of the year (during holidays) when I dined there, service was fantastic. A bit crowded for my linking and noise level was high.
