Great place for Sunday brunch, before a matinee theatre performance. Very good service, good food only 1 block from the Royal Alexandra and Princess of Wales theatres, slightly further to Roy Thomson Hall.
Porchetta with eggs should be served with toast.
Eggs benedict did not have any protein
Espresso / Orange cocktail was very good
Service was excellent
It was my boyfriend and my anniversary. They treated us like kings. Loved the food and our server and will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
The service was very good, but when the food comes within 10 minutes of ordering you know that gnocchi was not hand made. The sauce and gnocchi were warm-ish. The grangano had been in an opened bottle too long. Great servery personnel, however, for the price there is far far better food nearby.
Wine expensive, food had no taste. No salt in pasta. Quality and ambiance was good.
Figo is an outstanding choice for lunch or dinner ... business or social. All pizza is superb, especially soppressata and all of the appetizers (especially octopus, honey ricotta and fried zucchini) and main courses (we recommend spaghetti a limone and cacio e pepe) are equally spectacular. Everyone is pleasant and they go out of their way to make every visit special. We obviously love this place
The food was delicious and fresh! However, I would not recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion. Server did not acknowledge the special event and our visit felt very rushed as we were in and out within half an hour. Very cute restaurant inside, good for a quick bite to eat if you don't mind not so great service.
Limited Menu. Food was ordinary. Nothing to remember much about this place. No complimentary breads. Will not visit again.
Enjoyed my lunch at FIGO. Very good food and service.
Delicious food, amazing service! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the decor was spectacular. Would definitely go again!
Staff were exceptional! I was there for brunch which is a fave but I wasn’t sure if other menu options were available. I wanted the grilled octopus I saw in the full online menu but when I got there it wasn’t offered on the brunch menu provided to us. That said, the food offered was great and the drinks are like art! Gorgeous place with a great feel.
Great atmosphere for a friend's birthday, food arrived quickly - our server was lovely!
Everything was lovely. Waitstaff was excellent. Unique cocktails were very good. Food - meh. Chacutterie board was average and pizza crust was mush in the centre.
BEST restaurant we have been to in a very long time! Service was outstanding!!
It was a nice evening, I went out with my friend for our anniversary. We ordered the fried zucchini, spaghetti de lemone, pizza. For drinks, the When in Rome was absolutely delicious. The figo spritz was sour, not my taste. We were surprise when they brought the chocolate tiramisu out since we didn't order dessert. It was on the house, they said because it was our annivesary ☺️❤️ Definitely will come back next time. The ambience was so nice, food came out fast and service was so good.
Tasty food, attentive service, great ambience but be prepared for a noisy environment and a pricey wine list.
Pretty venue, cocktails were fantastic! We had truffle honey ricotta, buffalo mozzarella, gnocchi,March house pizza and short ribs with polenta! Everything was great but the ribs were lacking texture and flavour. I would text this place , worth the visit . We had a great seat by the pass so we could watch the action! Loved that part
Very, very average food. This restaurant is very much style over substance. Caesar salad with bitter, old lettuce. Fried calamari tough as a rubber sole, and borderline inedible. Pasta (rigatoni) in a bland tomato vodka sauce with the only tasting note being chili oil, and no pancetta or bacon to provide additional depth of flavour. Pizza burnt on side because it wasn't rotated properly in the oven. Desert was good at least. Way overpriced for quality of food. Pretty much everything I dislike about Toronto restaurants. Service was good, and the restaurant decor is quite nice. But ultimately it's about the food, and this is Italian food for people who have no idea what Italian food actually is. I do not recommend.
The food was fantastic. And the sommelier was very knowledgable. Try the zucchini
Dinner was delicious and the service was great. We were in a hurry with a show to get to and everything arrived promptly.
Good food but too noisy for an intimate dinner. Not your traditional Italian... no cheese or pepper offered to top the pasta. My steak was quite tasty.
The service was slow, given that the restaurant was maybe 75% full it still took more than 20 minutes for our drink order to be filled. It’s a fun spot but there is much better pasta in the city. Overall it was OK.
Great birthday dinner :)
Service was incredible, food was divine! Beautiful place! Will definitely go again.
Come frequently for date nights and family dinners alike. Pizzas are a standout. Cocktails aren't amazing which is a bit of a let down especially since they're very pretty. Atmosphere is dreamy and romantic. Only drawback is inconsistent service- were either waiting half an hour between courses or the mains are brought out minutes after the apps. Drink can take a long time to come so order promptly.
Figo's food and service were excellent. Any questions we had were met with increased service.
As always, Figo does not disappoint. The food is fabulous. But, this time I was dining with friends who had a baby. When I booked I made sure to mention that the baby would be coming and we needed room. Despite that, we were sat at a table that had very little room and was difficult to get in and out of. When I enquired about one of the larger tables (we had an early seating) I was told that as a party of three we could not use it. Moreover, there was another party with a baby who were placed at a proper table (not at the lounge area) and had ample room for their stroller.
To make matters worse there is no change table in any of your bathrooms! This truly should be rectified - and it doesn’t have to be one of those ugly plastic things, but something should be provided.
amazing food and service! we got wine and calamari, pasta, pizza and both got dessert and everything was phenomenal. the atmosphere alone is worth checking Figo out. I will definitely be back!
Cool spot but just food just wasn't that good or that much for what you're paying
Great atmosphere, great service but small portions
Amazing food and beyond excellent service. Would go back again and again!
I chose this place to take my best friend out for dinner, I saw it had great reviews, I follow FIGO on Instagram and thought the restaurant looked absolutely beautiful. When we walked in I noticed it wasn’t that busy at all, we got our table right away. I told the rotund, balding man who welcomed us that it was my friends birthday, hoping he would put a candle in a sponge thing and make her feel special. Not at all. I wasn’t very impressed with the food presentation, or quality either. The burrata appetizer was loaded to the max with cheese and there was no flavour at all, just a quarter of a fig on top with 4 tiny pieces of proscuitto. The bread that was used was definitely expired. My friends gnocchi was about 17 pieces of gnocchi in tomato soup, it was too much. My rigatoni looked like something I would order if I was 4 years old. The rigatoni looked like ringos, the sauce was something out of Sobeys. All of this aside, the food tasted good, however I could’ve made it at home with my very limited Italian cooking skills. The only good thing was the Prosecco, which nudged the bill to $134 total. Our server was great about refilling us. To be honest, this place feels so cheap. Never coming here again for food. Maybe the bar.
Very poor service, the server was not attentive enough and was not nice. The food portions are very small and would expect improvements in the future.
I liked the spot. I wish we had a better table as we made reservations but it was packed. People who work there are really nice! Food was good!
Good food and good value. Especially 1/2 price wine on Sunday evening.
Food was great. Wished the servers were a little more attentive. Music was a little loud sometimes.
Brunch at FIGO was fantastic!!
The Eggs Bennie and the Chicken Salad were Outstanding!
And our Service a total delight!
We will be back!
We had a lovely brunch here before going to the theatre. Hosts were pleasant and helpful, food was delicious...yummy drinks and dessert for brekky...I'm in !
Will be back, and will recommend to friends.
The hostess was extremely rude. We (3 girls)arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were told we could go out for a walk and that our table would be ready at our reservation time. As the weather is cold we obviously chose to wait inside. Other guests walked in and said they were here for their 9:00pm reservations, the hostess greeted them and brought them to their table. I was confused as to why we were told to go for a walk outside in the cold and others were able to go to their table. My friends and i spent $350.00 at Figo that night and would have appreciated to be greater a lot nicer than the rudeness we received. Food was good and our server was nice. It was the elderly man with the red shoes at the front door who ruined the experience for us.
