Top quality taste & plating
Well-prepared dirty martini!
Will be back...
It was a before-theatre dinner. Excellent service and food, with a great wine list. Noise level was quite loud and we were seated by the door, so it was extra noisy. I would go back for sure. Thank you!
We always love it!
Rarely has a simple meal like breakfast been given so much special attention - much appreciated.
Excellent food, excellent service, nice variety of Italian food; a bit noisy, reflecting its popularity! Great coffee.
Great servings/dishes for groups and delicious food!!!!!
Pizza was good, pasta just ok. Our waiter seemed uninterested and said as little as possible. Second time there and the first was much better. With so many options in Toronto we won’t be going back.
Great food and great service.
The service was great. We had pre-theater dinner reservations and were able to enjoy drinks, appetizer, main course and dessert and we still made it to the theater with time to spare. Food portions were a little on the small side for my husband but dessert topped him up.
Fantastic food that's authentic and is reasonably portioned.
it was really good. the service was awesome. the food was really good and the ambiance as well. it was a wonderful place💫
The food is delicious, although the portion sizes are small. A little overpriced but I would go back again. Cute aesthetic for brunch with the girls.
Excellent service, great food, prices a little steep but overall experience was very nice. Only negative was the restaurant was very loud once it filled up.
Very nice atmosphere for lunch and great service!
Food is very good as well albeit a little pricey for lunch as no lunchy specials.
We had a brand new server who just started his very first shift at his very first Toronto job. He was simply amazing. Our drinks were always full, the food was hot and his personality was very warm and friendly!
Made last minute reservations for Monday at 845.
Our server was friendly and professional...his name escapes me.
We ordered a couple cocktails and two apps. The tempura zucchini was outstanding. I was a little unsure of the honey drizzle at first...but it was good...and even better w/a slight sprinkle of sea salt! So good!
My husband ordered the seafood pasta tossed w/olive oil vs the tomato based sauce it came with. He really enjoyed it. I had the short rib with fingerling potatoes vs the eggplant. The meat was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. I would have preferred a little more of the wine reduction for a little more flavor. But the beef was cooked perfectly.
It was our first visit but we’ll definitely return our next visit to the city!
Valentines day it was a romantic setting
Delicious food, great service. Would definitely go again.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – felt almost like you were at a friends place. We enjoyed the zucchini appetizer, and shared a pizza - which was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent - our waitstaff was friendly, gave excellent recommendations, and was perfect with the timing. I would definitely go back.
It was extremely Smokey in there from the oven or something. We walked out and smelled very badly of smoke. We had to take all our clothes to the dry cleaner. Not sure why this happened. Everything else was amazing.
Arrived for a 10 p.m reservation and was made to wait 45 minutes before seated. Server was abrasive and dismissive, with no apology being offered for the significant wait. Moreover, this was on a night where "dining time limits" were supposedly set in place, so there really was no excuse for the substantial delay. The food was "meh" at best - Osso bucco was tough and under seasoned, while the tiramisu was bland and, quite honestly, hard to stomach. There are much, much better Italian options in Toronto and this place is certainly not worth your time. Save your stomach and wallet from significant distress and go to Ascari Enoteca instead.
We went for Valentines day Dinner and it was outstanding! Food was great, Service was amazing even though we knew that our server was tired already but we understood because we work in the same industry as him but then after he gave us a smile and even showed us more ways to prepare table napkins at the table!
Food is nothing to rave about, especially for price. Dry bed of polenta with some pickled onions, balsamic drizzle and a mushroom "ragu" to make things fancy. Tart was hard, dry and bitter. Sad sad sad. Beautiful place but waste.
My boyfriend and I went here for our date night. It was a quiet night for FIGO so not a lot of guests or noise. The service was impeccable. With every dish, our cutlery was replenished. Everything was super clean. Cocktails and drinks were good. Food was also good as well.
We will be sure to come back.
I had a girlfriend visiting from out of town and we decided to go to Figo for their Winterlicious dinner menu and boy were we happy. We went for a later dinner on a Tuesday and the place was still quite busy so we knew to expect a great experience. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, from the quality of the service, to the atmosphere, to the amazing food and drink menus. Although the noise level was a bit higher than some people might like in a restaurant setting, I typically take that as a sign that the place is popular, and rightly so. Figo was overall one of the better dining experiences I’ve ever had in Toronto! 10/5 stars!
The food was fine and the servers friendly and helpful. However the noise level was excessive. Extremely difficult for our small group ( 4 people ) to have a clear conversation. The ventilation system was also poor; our clothes reeked afterwards of smoke from the kitchen.
Went for a Sunday brunch to celebrate two birthday milestones. Everything about this dining experience was exceptional.
Mandy, the restaurant manager was very attentive to our group, particularly due to a restaurant situation that was handled very professionally. Mandy made a perfect Sunday outing more perfect. Jessie, our waitress was also exceptional!
Thank you Figo.
Everything was really great, food and service! There was an issue with the ventilation because our entire party left the restaurant smelling like smoke as if we'd been sitting beside a campfire for hours. It was quite embarrassing to enter the Ed Mirvish theatre for our matinee show smelling like that.
Air smelled burnt when you walked in. Appetizer was over seasoned. Main lamb osso buco was just a rock hard piece of lamb with no marrow. Pannacotta had no gelatin and was just straight liquid cream. Will not go back and would never recommend.
It was my daughter’s birthday. Was hoping to have a nice experience since it’s Figo. But no. Server ruined it from the start. Very unpleasant and miserable. When taking my order which was wagyu short ribs had to second check me because she thought she heard wonton. Really!!! Just another stereotypical white server as we are Asian’s. WTF. NEVER AGAIN. This for sure will spread to my fun living wonton Asian people. THUMBS DOWN!!
Figo was absolutely amazing! The food, service, and environment was just what we needed after a busy week! Can’t wait to return!
The appetizer was fabulous, the main was good, the dessert was lacking. It was also very loud which made it hard to carry on a conversation.
Very good, highly recommend the bucatini with wild boar. Chairs very uncomfortable, my back hurt at end of night :( Still worthy of 5 stars for me. Would come back again.
