3rd Friday in a row should tell you all you need to know to see how much we enjoy FIGO, 70s & 80s in the background, Michael again was terrific as our waiter and as always the food was bang on, crispy pizza made in the wood oven, pesto pasta and chocolate dessert as always, we are creatures of habit.

2nd Friday in row, so convenient for us downtown, FIGO always delivers, from the great ambiance with retro 70s tunes and the Guy Ritchie host and friendly staff, the Pepe pasta was delicious but out down by the pesto pasta which was a home run! One of our favourite places.

Service was extremely slow, food was good though! Definitely need to block out at least two hours to eat here. Hostess took a good almost 5 minutes before she even acknowledged we were there. Probably would not go back, but fine experience overall.

I have never had a bad meal at Figo, but I don’t think I’ve ever had such a superb experience as last night. We enjoyed sharing several dishes, and not surprisingly, the pasta was cooked to perfection, with a Pesto that was perfectly seasoned, and I really cannot speak highly enough about the zucchini that was light and crispy and served in a honey glaze that made me want to lick the plate. We could not get over the combination of flavors in the mushrooms, with a rich, flavorful, balsamic glaze. The service was attentive and efficient in spite of the restaurant being very busy, and I enjoyed myself immensely. A peak dining experience.

Lovely evening out on the patio. Busy on the street related to the Toronto International Film Festival, so a bit louder than usual. Made us feel part of the action and not a deterrent.

Food was excellent but 1. Extremely noisy 2. Service inattentive 3. Half hour for food to arrive after ordering 4. Occasion was birthday but no acknowledgement from staff beyond "Happy Birthday" when arriving and departing - what was the point? Restaurant is clearly very popular with young urban types but I would not recommend for anyone else.

Ordered wine and food and many others received both and had their bill before we received either. I asked the server and a manager to assist and finally received our wine and meals . Food delicious but servers need help. Our server was very nice and tried to move things along but overwhelmed .Truly disappointed

Out of the 3 of us, only 1 of us enjoyed our meal. My pizza was tasty but very mushy & oily, another guests meal, a pasta with shrimp, was very rich. Asked for a couple of pieces of bread & got a oily loaf that we were not informed was extra.

Had a late dinner after a day of tiff and shared the focaccia/olives, buratta and kale salad with a glass of Prosecco. Everything was great, it was just insanely loud, too-loud-to-talk-across-a-table-loud.

Extremely noisy and very slow service. Food was good not outstanding. Overall good for one time visit. I went to celebrate my birthday but the restaurant paid no attention to the note I added on Open Table while booking neither did they do anything to make me feel special. I should have given one star less as nobody even bothered to wish me happy birthday :’(

I hosted a business lunch, and one of our guests is allergic to garlic, which she made well-known to the waiter when placing her order. He was supposed to come back and confirm that her order had no garlic in it. He never did. Instead a sandwich saturated with pesto, which contains garlic, was presented, and the new waiter informed us that all sandwiches on the menu are "pre-made" (eww by the way. Hardly classy eating). It took two more waiters before a manager bothered to come over, and apologise and put in a new order, while my guest had to sit around and watch the rest of us eat, and then eat her own meal alone. The manager comped the lunch and a shared appetizer, but when the bill came the lunch was still on the bill. So we again had to have that fixed. Terrible restaurant. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Absolute worse experience. Waited over 45 min for our calamari, safe to say worse ones we’ve ever had. Burnt little leftover pieces. Order 2 pizzas too, which by the 1 hr 15min mark still didn’t come out, and our waiter couldn’t tell us how much longer it would be. Yet 2 couples near us who came after us got their food before us. Including a pizza. We had to leave without our food. And they didn’t even care. Take your well earned money elsewhere.

We asked to have our 7:30 reservation moved to 6:30 and not only were they accommodating but they found us a table on the patio right near the sidewalk!! The food was great and the service was impeccable. Great location for a dinner during TIFF!

Lovely spot! The bar area is so pretty! We went at a pretty quiet time (3pm) and it was not busy, we got fantastic service and the happy hour (from 2-6pm) was great. Also ordered the boar ragu pasta which was delicious! Highly recommend

I went to here Sunday dinner with my friends. The ambience quite to good to talk, of course there was quite nice played music during we were talking.I ordered, calamari and tuna salad. Calamari was so tender nicely bite to one bite. This was served with dipping sauce which is good match. Tuna salad was super fresh. I was suprised it's big portion. Carppacio was really great taste. My friend ate Buratta which was plating with balsamic and focaccia. She told me balsamic is great harmony with Buratta.We were too full to finish olive and complimentary bread which served with focaccia. As main course, I ordered Bistecca which is sliced one bite. Of course it was so delicious. My friend impressed to Tonnarelli taste looks simple ingredients used but made delicious.Plus, I drank cosmopolitan and figo cocktail which has gorgeous orange color distinc taste. We were happy to eat figo. Try to next time taste different food.

Have been to figo a few times prior and it has always been pretty good. This time around, it made me realize how mediocre everything was. Our server wasn’t around much and was off to serve his other tables almost immediately after each interaction. Not his fault though. It’s a Saturday night and it seems like they were short staffed. The pasta is probably the only amazing thing on their menu. The branzino and chicken are so bland. It tasted like it was cooked in the dishwasher. They also forgot about our side potato’s for the mains. By the time we were able to wave any server down, let alone our own, the mains were pretty much done and cold from waiting for so long. We brought it up to our server and then he asked “are the potato’s coming?” Sir, we’re asking you that. They eventually brought it out and apologized. They offered the potato’s on the house which was fine. At this point we just wanted to leave. We had asked specifically to pack our leftover chicken alongside the potato’s that came late. The busboy returned with just the potato’s. We were confused and asked about the chicken and which then he proceeded with, there was no chicken. We had left half a chicken on the plate to pack with the potato’s. Why would anyone want to pack just plain potato’s home? We were just disappointed overall and annoyed. This place has great potential but it’s just another aesthetic restaurant on king west.

From my previous visit a year ago, I feel like the quality and taste of the food has gone downhill a bit! The zucchini chips were heavy and batter and oil, the mushrooms were heavy in sauce, the broccolini was a pale green and hard with mediocre flavor. They can use some updating on the place as well. The wood chairs are very uncomfortable.

The manager is AWESOME!! He is the host, he’s a server, he’s a bar tender this man does it all. And with the biggest smile and with kindness exuding. I usually I don’t bad reviews, but the place is off. The food is very bland, the service is very slow. The staff doesn’t seem to look very happy about serving. The location is good but apart from that everything is a miss.

Little bit hard to hear but I was right next to the kitchen. Sharice was incredible and very attentive to our table throughout the night. Sommelier on staff was great as well.
