   Went for birthday dinner. if you’re tryna go drop a pretty penny on good food then i’d go here. Definitely beats all of these trashy tourists spots all around the strip. Would go again just come prepared for the prices bc you get what you pay for, a quality dinning experience. Had a great time with my friends.

   We celebrated our anniversary with a dinner and drinks. Made a reservation and when they went to seat us in a separate dining room we asked if we can be sat in the main dining area and they were able to honor our request thankfully. The main dining room is really pretty. The service was great. We never felt rushed but they were attentive. Overall a really nice place to go for dinner and/or celebrating an occasion.

   We started with escargot and the she crab soup. Our entrees were the stuffed filet mignon and the grouper. All four dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We highly recommend Firefly when you’re in PCB.

   Typically I’m not one to complain about businesses or restaurants especially working in healthcare I know you can’t ultimately please everyone you come encounter with, but what I do note and get irritated about is the response you can give to your customer and how to professionally handle a matter that is presented to you. Last night I went to dinner at a local “fine dining” restaurant in Panama City beach called Firefly with a good friend of mine who I haven’t seen for a while. With this being a special occasion we decided to chose firefly due to it being a more classier choice, and with the exceptional food that it typically provides. As we were seated with a reservation at 8:45 ( due to being the next available reservation they had— remind you they close at 10) we had a cocktail before our meal and multiple appetizers to begin, food was good, but the service provided was extremely unprofessional. Appetizers were brought out and within 5 min the busser had approached us already asking if she needed to box up our appetizers, we explained we had just received them and we had ordered a main entree that we were still awaiting. She approached us numerous amounts of times without even acknowledgement repeatedly looking at our plates to see how far we have gotten in eating. This occurred the entire time we were trying to enjoy our meal. Naturally we felt rushed, and although I acknowledge the closing time being 10pm in my opinion we shouldn’t have been allowed to make reservations at 8:45 if this was going to be a issue. Our tab total was 200.00, fast forward. This morning I decided to email the establishment to explain my experience with them and allow them to recognize this was a issue in my opinion especially it being “ fine dining”. The response I received started with a apologetic manner, and addressed the staff would be provided with more training. Ok that’s fine, but then followed with a demeanor which reflected maybe the training needed to be extended to

    Everything we had this evening was made extremely well. Everything tasted fresh and was well seasoned. The drink options were fantastic. The service was excellent as well. The entree portion was great too. The variety of food was pleasant as well. I gave 4 stars because of the meat and cheese board. This was one of the most expensive items of the night. For what was provided, I just don’t think it warranted a hefty price tag. Also, even though everything was good, nothing provided flavors that blew my socks off. If you’re in Panama City you should try this place for sure!

    We recently ate here while on vacation. We had been here before but it had been years, but remembered how good it was, so we were excited to visit this place again. We were not disappointed! The steak was delicious and the Caesar salad came in a Parmesan cheese bowl, which I will say was a little difficult to eat, but totally worth it! The table also had the she crab soup, salmon, sushi and the ahi tuna bites, all which were delicious. I recommend a visit to this restaurant during you stay in Panama City Beach!

    The food was just bad. Bad all the way around. I would never go here again. McDonald’s is better. No joke. 34.00 for chicken Alfredo is ridiculous. We threw it in the trash as soon as we walked out the door.

    We come here every time we vacation around Panama City Beach and it never ceases to amaze us! Such yummy food and the staff is always incredible! Definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner. We have a gluten intolerant person in our party and the menu described the gluten free options very clearly. 10/10! You must get dessert! Key lime will leave you wanting more!

    Eclectic menu that you can pick and choose from. From the opening bread to dessert not a item.suggest the octopus salad, calamari, van halen roll. Service was at the level of a fine Italian restaurant but in a casual setting. Waiter Bill on the money and bus boy oversaw any needs. And nice to have open table to make a reservation in an area were most restaurants don’t take reservations. Looked like good steaks I just don’t eat them on a beach. Best A

    As always, the Full Moon sushi roll did not disappoint! Loved the escargot appetizer - pure and simple with cheesy garlic butter sauce. My wife's halibut special and my scallop entree were all on point, as was the cream brulee. Great service and timing with courses. Enjoyable evening. Only complaint was with the three guys wearing their baseball caps - come on guys, remove your hat!

    Everything we had to eat was amazing! Delicious appetizers and sushi! I had the pepper crusted stuffed filet it was by far one of the best steaks I have ever had! The customer service was great couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! We will definitely be back next time we are in Panama City.

    Interesting interior - it did not match the vibe of the food. But the guitars were impressive!!!! Service was fantastic. Everyone was very attentive. Food was amazing. Definitely one of the better meals we had while in Panama City Beach.

    We’ve been coming to Firefly several years and it never fails to live up to our expectations. If you are in the area, you must try this place, but make sure you call for reservations because the word is out!

    The BEST service, food, and atmosphere is Firefly. It was our first visit and Tom was excellent. He had very good recommendations and he didn't disappoint us. I HIGHLY recommend!

    We went for date night and everything was excellent. My wife’s filet was the best she had ever had. The sushi was excellent. The firefly we remembered is back.

    We both ordered the Australian Rack of Lamb. It was good but it took over 1/2 hour to get plus it had quite a bit of fat. It may be due to the type of rack of lamb(Australian). We had Creme Brûlée for desert and it was excellent. The waitress was somewhat good. Very pleasant but it took about 10 minutes before she actually came to take our drink/food order. We both agreed to give FireFly another try when we come back to PCB in February 2024.

    Horrible time, had reserve for my birthday in advance online, we end up in a small room and was very loud with a group celebrating? Decor for color in that room was depressing. No ambiance period. Food was good and service also good. We were not even acknowledged even if on your reservation website it it's for a special occasion.

    I don't get why this place is so highly rated. I had shrimp and grits, which was so salty it almost knocked me out of my chair. The caesar salad was good, but served in an "edible" bowl that was totally inedible. We were seated in a side room that had all the charm of a coat closet (not the "romantic" ambiance advertised so widely). They charge 3.5% for credit cards (why not just add that into the price of the food and offer a discount for cash? who carries around that kind of cash?). Service was perfectly nice, except that the server (I won't say "waitress") who was "taking care of us" referred to me as "miss". I am 60 years old. Puh-lease. Definitely won't be going back.

    Disappointed in our meal. The Shrimp and Grits had too much sauce surrounding a very crispy fried Gouda grit cake and the grilled shrimp were rubbery. The sushi was good except the crab was left off the Devil’s Advocate roll. Wait staff did the minimum. Not a fine dining experience that night for us. This was our fourth visit to Firefly during our trips to Panama City Beach so we have an idea of the quality of food and service that we should receive when we dine at Firefly. Our experience on 3/11/23 was poor quality food, fair service, and overpriced for what we received. We will be checking out other establishments when we visit Panama Beach.

    We thought we were going to experience fine dining. My husband and I dressed up for a nice birthday dinner. Other customers were in shorts and polos. It took 45 minutes for our appetizer to come to the table. The manager brought it out and apologized. Our entree was mediocre at best. Our server was awkward and did not monitor our table well. And then when we got the bill, we thought the appetizer would have been comped but it wasn’t. We didn’t even stay for dessert. The only birthday celebration we received was a “happy birthday” from our very awkward server.
