We offer a new Feature Menu every 4-6 weeks.
Overall it was ok. Waited quite a while for our food. Our waitress was less than friendly, not very helpful, and hardly around. We have definitely had better service there in the past.
We loved that we could reserve a table online. We were seated quickly upon arrival and the service and food were very good. The noise level is always a bit loud but we know that means everyone is enjoying the company of their friends and family. Parking was the only issue as there was a big event at the hotel and we we had to park a couple blocks away in the residential area.
The food was great once it arrived. Only issue was we ordered an appetizer and two entrees and after waiting close to an half an hour we got our entrees but no appetizer. Asked the waiter if our appetizer was coming he said he would go check, after finishing our whole entree appetizer showed up. Thankfully still had some room so finished it and it was quite good. Unfortunately waiter didn’t really acknowledge the mess up and no discount was given on the bill.
The feature burger menu looked fantastic but the burger was disappointing. The fries/chips were greasy and burger was small/thin and bland.
A little noisy but excellent food and service I was the only newcomer My dinner guests have all eaten there before
Favourite restaurant in town, hands down! We were on the patio at peak time and it was full and yet, service was fast, friendly, and efficient. We had our food delivered and finished within the hour and as always, was delicious!
A good place for good steaks in Lethbridge. We have been there for the first time and will definitely come back. Friendly service and nice atmosphere!
We had a marvellous time at Firestone! Our family gathered to celebrate the birthday of the Mom we all treasure! From the innovative drink specials to the mouth-watering food and the quiet ambiance, we were able to spend quality time to honour the wife/Mom who knits our family together. The drinks were unique and refreshing. The food was exceptional. The service was timely, professional, warm and courteous.
We will be back!
On each visit (and we keep going back) the portions become smaller and the service a little slower. A turkey sandwich was so loaded with salt it should have beeb declared a health hazard; the accompanying salad so wilted it should have never been served.
Had a great dinner like usual! Always get excellent service. One of our favourite places😊.
Firestone is our go to choice, especially for special occassions, but Tuesday can be a special occasion! The feature menu almost always has at least one choice that you can't pass up, and if not, the regular menu has so many excellent options. Prime rib is great if you get there before it is all gone. And we have never once been disappointed with the service. Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Can be noisy on a busy night, so if you don't like noise, wait for a table on the restaurant side.
It was good but next time do not want to sit by the bathroom traffic our fault for saying it was ok
My manager was in town for the first time from Vancouver and said he enjoyed the variety of the menu and the quality of the food. Will definitely consider firestone for more business related meals.
Took in the Firestone Restaurant for Mother's Day Supper. It was grand. WE shall return.
The service has been lacking the last few times I have eaten here. I felt like you were under staffed
Love it here, highly recommend this restaurant! My favourite place to eat out!
I ordered a meal which was to come with a mushroom sauce, wasn't even close to what a sauce is suppose to be. It was so watered down was more like a consomme, so much for a good good meal. Oh ya, and the Potatoes we cold, I had to order a side of gravy (brown gravy) so I could put some heat to them. I think they came right out of the fridge.
We've eaten here several times and the food's always been real good, I think they're slipping. Maybe they made changes to cooks etc. We'll try it again in a while, but if it's bad again we'll be going elsewhere.
A busy night so expected service would be slow. Best part: wine, coffee drink and appetizer. Not so good: wife's meal was just warm, not hot and potatoes were cold (she hardly ate any). We have had better meals here. If eating outside, always take a sweater as was cool with a slight breeze. Waitress did put the overhead heater on and this helped greatly.
Overall great food. Was dissapointed with the size of the steak sandwich - seemed on the small side. Drinks and desserts were fantastic.
For a birthday dinner.
I reserved a table and they wanted to sit us in the lounge at a bar height table. When I reserve a table I do not expect to be in the bar area. The food was great.
Great service. Good food. A little noisy. We had reservations, so we did not have to wait.
I made a reservation, I ordered first and told the waitress I was on my lunch hour and asked if I could pre-pay so I could duck out early. I ordered an appetiser because I was in a hurry. When I ordered desert, I reminded her again that I was in a hurry to leave. TWO HOURS later, had to walk out and leave my friends to pay my bill. She ignored our table for an hour, and I was over an hour late for work. I did not hint or imply - I was VERY CLEAR.
May 2019 special menu was terrible, Cajun Pasta had stringy chicken & no taste to sauce. Monte Cristo Sandwich had some weird relish and the string fries tasted like they had been re heated, could have made same fries in my oven. Very disappointed.
Have enjoyed Firestone in past. Would recommend with a caveat....stick to old menu.
Food was ok but not terrific ... service was slow
Been there many times and have always had great food and service. Unfortunately this time it was not quite as stellar. Food wait times were longer than usual. The Seafood Fare was good but not outstanding. Quite noisy and busy in restaurant. Okay value this time.
Appetizer came cold (stuffed mushrooms) Server took appetizers back and never returned. After over an hour wait, I flagged server to find out how much longer. She had forgotten to place our order. She refunded cost of entree but never came back to try to make our wait better. No customer service. She could have done so much more to compensate for her error. Our bill was still high because we ordered a drink to ease the wait time. Very disappointed overall.
Great experience... staff always exceptional!
The food was very good. The waiter we had provided good service. We found the price of the food was reasonable. I do have one complaint however. We had made a reservation for dinner. When I make a reservation to go out for a nice dinner, complete with wine etc. I don’t expect to be seated in the bar area at a table with high stools. We had to ask three times before we received a suitable table and then it was not in the dining room but in the bar but at least it was a booth. The hostess was not very accommodating and definitively showed her displeasure when we requested a different table.
We eat here often, and this time the steaks were done poorly, the ravioli was dry, and the meal was not warm. Our waiter was excellent though
Ordered lobster Mac and cheese and the lobster was so tiny you didn’t even know it was in there and it came out warm with a dried out top probably from being under the heat lamp too long.
food was very good, well presented but the noise level made normal conversation difficult. Service was very good
Great food, great service definitely recommend.....
Too noisy but otherwise food and service was good to very good.
The food was excellent, loved the ambiance and our waitress was very efficient. The only thing that was somewhat disturbing was the price of a glass of house wine. We paid $11.00 for the smallest glass which wasn't much wine. Wine is not that expensive in the liquor store, why jack up the price at the restaurant. One of us had a Caesar which was relatively inexpensive compared to the wine!!!
Always a great experience and great food!!
Our favorite place.
My husband and I went to Firestone for breakfast on a weekend. Everything was excellent. Ambience, food and especially the service. Next time we are in Lethbridge, we will be returning. I imagine that lunch and supper would be equally wonderful.
Two at our table ordered the Chicken Marsala, which is a favourite. The Marsala had no sauce. When we mentioned it to our waitress she said the dish had not changed and offered to bring us additional sauce. Someone brought more mushrooms but no sauce. It was odd. The crispy potato rolls we also soggy. We eat here often and this was the first miss for food quality.
In brief we were really excited to have our first date since having a baby. Your restaurant under-whelmed us :( We waited ~1.5 hours for mains, when they came parts were missing and my portion of salmon off the new feature menu should have been a scrap from the end of the fish. Not a plate which represented what was spent. We did not complain. We were happy to be out. But your restaurant made an exciting night a disappointment.
Overall my wife and I found the Firestone restaurant very good. My wife ordered the salmon and shrimp and found it very good. I ordered something I generally would not order - The Sea Food Pot Pie and found this excellent and if it retained on the menu would order it again.
My only issue with restaurant cooking is they want to determine how my vegetables should be cooked.
Noise levels were quite high, expected as the place was busy. However decided that if we had a large group, it would be a good place to reserve as we might fit in and not stand out.
