Went in for a birthday dinner. We had beyond exceptional service from our server, the food was amazing and we didn't have to wait long at all. plus the birthday dessert with a sparkler, c'mon that's adorbs! definitely coming back!!
The server was great and the food was better. We were very happy with our meal.
Although the food was good, the value for a small piece of Baked Salmon, two little baby carrots, one almost uncooked and the other over cooked, 5 very skinny I think beans or ? and a cup of rice for $27.00. A little expensive. The volume in the restaurant was to loud to have a nice conversation.
It was a special dinner and we enjoyed the wine, dinner and Clarisa. The only problem was a large group with one loud individual obviously drunk who needed to be approached but otherwise, we loved it!
carrots were not cooked and when the waiter brought the next set out it actually was to late. The meal wsas fair but not what we used to get a few months ago. desert was not the same as last time, just a piece of chocolate cake, that was something that we used to enjoy was picking from the desert menu. Seems firestone has cut back in the wrong places. This was a birthday celebration and sorry to say the next time we will look for another dining establishment.
I've never been disappointed at the Firestone Restaurant!
Top quality food, excellent service. Kind of pricey but worth every penny.
We were seated but we waited 20 minutes until we had our drink orders taken and our food orders taken as well. I feel like the service was very poor. The food made up for that though.
Overall great place! Very welcoming staff & service was exceptional. Will definitely be back soon.
The food tasted great but, my wife ended up getting sick because even though she went through asking for the gluten free menu, ordered the gluten free options, she still was served (without her knowledge) appetizers (which she ordered from the glue to free menu) with gluten in them as the server did not inform the kitchen of her allergy.
My wife and I were out for our third date since our daughters birth last year. Was great to get out, enjoy some delicious food and drink, and the service was outstanding!
Was disappointed with the table given us, despite having made a reservation- was along the kitchen/prep separation wall, making it extra noisy. Others in our party arrived before us, or we would’ve asked to move by a window.
Drink service was very slow. Waited quite a while for our cocktails.
Despite having reserved, saying was a birthday, we had to mention it again to server for the Birthday dessert
Food was good, server friendly.
Excellent all the way!
Made a reservation to celebrate Father’s Day and my birthday with dinner out with my parents. NO WHERE in the information stated in the emails/website did it state you had to specify whether you wanted dinning room or lounge in the “special requests” section. Upon on arrival they tried to sit us in the lounge at the table directly in front of a very loud jazz musician. I turned to the girl and said that my parents could not sit there. They told us because we hadn’t specified where we wanted to sit in out reservation they just “sit us wherever”. Who on earth would reserve that spot?! When I requested dining room at that time they told us we’d have to wait 45 minutes. I said that wasn’t acceptable. Eventually they found us a booth at the back of the lounge but it was still very loud. They messed up a bunch of our food items and my mom landed up eating her dinner long after my dad and I were finished ours. I will say the food was very tasty once it arrived as ordered but several screw ups and a very loud atmosphere made for a damper on my birthday.
Keep that quality of service up! Great job by our server
Excellent food and drink specials were sure a perk!! We love the patio, but the rain forced us indoors, which was really pleasant. Live music and great ambiance made for a great birthday supper.
Food was good, service a little slow but much too noisy with the live music. Unable to hold a conversation with our dinner guests.
Very noisy in the bar making conversation difficult.
Service was very slow-others who ordered after us had eaten by the time our order arrived
We had to ask who our server was. No one came to take our orders. We saw the person who ended up being our server 3 times.
Patio is so amazing!!!!! Our Favourites restaurant. We go way too much. And the staff are amazing!
Brilliant meal as always. Summertime lemonade back in.
Absolutely awesome night with friends.
It was great! Sat on the patio
First time we had come and were greeted by friendly staff, and seated immediately.
Customer service was terrific. I had out of town guests with me, and they were impressed.
They commented on how good their food was and liked the restaurant setting. Thank you.
Our meal was tasty, but pricey. Bland mashed potatoes! Really?!? Not Garlic? Not yam or sweet potato?
Our waitress was great, and very attentive.
Dessert was marvelous...
Best restaurant in the 'Bridge City'... still some work to do...
Standards keep falling as prices keep increasing at Firestone. Perhaps they need to rethink what they were doing when they first opened and return to that standard of food and service. Casual may be the name of the game but perhaps restrictions on shorts, flip flops, and really poor dressing would make more diners comfortable.
We enjoyed our time there. The problem with the food was that there was no indication of how spicy hot my dish would be. (The Asian chicken bites). I had a difficult time with it, though initially I found it delicious. (The heat was accumulative!) My husband's gluten free burger with lettuce was difficult to eat. The lettuce needs to be wrapped around the burger. It's one of our favorite restaurants but would just suggest some awareness of this review.
We ordered an omelette and french toast and it took and hour to come! Not impressed by that but the food was good and we left full!
Came for breakfast buffet as per website. And there was none.
Came for mother’s day brunch
The prime rib was excellent - among the best we have ever had. The pomegranate chicken was a menu option for the calorie conscious diner. Our waiter, Chris, was exceptional in providing friendly, upbeat service in looking after our needs. We will be back again.
I googled great restaurants in Lethbridge and this one came up so I thought I would try it. I also read the specialty was the yorkshire pudding stack, so I ordered it. It was just ok. The potato looked like it had been sitting on the plate for a while, it was barely lukewarm, and the beef was just ok. I was expecting melt in your mouth. It wasn't horrible. It was just ok. My guest ordered a thai dish and said it was delicious. The ambiance was lovely though.
I enjoyed the veal cutlets but my husband did not. He found his to be quite tough and we both didn't like the gravy as we are not wine people (perhaps another choice would be good). Also, we went for a date night out but the restaurant is SO LOUD that you could hardly enjoy each other's company.
We were visiting in Lethbridge and our anniversary falls on this very weekend. The restaurant was suggested by our front desk person at the Hampton. We both had the prime rib and it was very delicious and cooked perfect. The helpings are very big. No room for dessert!.
Food was good. Enjoyed the seafood menu they were having for a limited time. Both meals were very great and the service was as well. They were understanding about being later than our reservation time due to unforeseen circumstances. Highly recommend Firestone.
NOT Good...Reso'd a table on line for our Date Night...and when I got there didn't get it!
Been there a few times. Comfortable casual place with very good ambiance. Deserts ate good but expensive. Service was excellent.
Always have a good meal here. Service is great and the people are friendly. Love the patio during the summer months can’t wait to be back when the sun is shining
Very nice evening with friends, service was good when busy and all were happy with the food
Was very happy with the meal and service.
The atmosphere was great the steak was very tasty are waiter was very good we enjoyed him.
Always great food and great service. This is our special occasion restaurant and it never disappoints.
Very good atmosphere very tasty food well deffenetley be coming back
Restaurant is good, good service, we just strongly dislike the half round booths for 2 people, super awkward booths. We specifically asked on our online reservation not to be seated in one of them but they did anyways so that made it uncomfortable but other then that we had good service
