Started off with great karma by getting a parking space right in front, so we knew this was going to be a great lunch! The tacos were excellent (had 1 pulled pork and 1 chicken, both were great). The skillet cookie looked too good to wait, so even though the waiter told us it would be hot, we dove in and burned our mouths. :( ) Good prices, good food, nice wait staff.

Food was great. We had fish and chips, chicken tacos, pull pork tacos & black bean tacos. We also had a cheese burger and a healthy bowl. The chef really knows how to fry food. No oily nor dry. Perfect. Service was attentive, polite. Right in the spot. I will definitely going back. Prices were reasonable for Boston standards. You won’t be disappointed.

We loved our dining experience at Five Horses Tavern. Though I was disappointed in the lack of gluten free options. We would dine there more if you had more gluten free options :). Our waitress & hostess were lovely-I wish I remembered their names. Thanks

It may be that we happened to dine during a graduation weekend, but the service here was the worst I've experienced at a restaurant in a long time. The food tasted good, with the exception of undercooked cornbread.

Popped into 5HT for a last min brunch. Food was great, service was awesome. Plenty of attn to small details. The staff was great. I was particularly impressed that when the host walked away to seat a party before us, one of the waiters immediately jumped up to host stand to seat us so we didn’t have to wait for host to return. It’s a small thing that I don’t generally see happen. Waters were brought immediately when we sat. Service was friendly, prompt and food was tasty, well seasoned and creative. Portions were respectable without being obnoxious or over grand. Will return.

Maybe we just picked the wrong day to eat here. We got seated at a table next to the wait station when there was one open near the window, that never got filled. I ordered an egg dish. 2 mins after, the waiter came to tell me they were out of the quesadillas. I ordered an egg dish and repeated that to him. When the food came, my eggs were over hard rather than over medium. I will stop here. Too many other things to mention. Not going back.

Made a reservation and they gave us a table right next to the bathrooms and a coffee stand in the back of the restaurant. We thought since we made the reservation in advance we would be given a decent table. Horrible location so we left.

Service was the best thing about the place. Very engaging servers. Dark setting, feels like a bar (which it is). Menu was good, but food was good but not better than good. Some dishes are quite good, and others not really.

The music was extremely loud and inappropriate for the occasion of brunch. It was more for a night club. The service was poor, she needs to be trained properly. Three items were missed from our order. The food arrived cold. We will never go there again.

Man, this place has definitely gone downhill in the last couple years. The service: rough, and unapologetic for mistakes. The food: not what was promised by server, and portion sizes have become far less generous than they used to be here. Definitely not "take friends visiting from out of town here for brunch" material anymore.

Five Horses markets themselves as a craft beer restaurant. I was disappointed though that the menu on Untappd (supposedly updated 2 days earlier) didn't represent what they actually had available according to our server. Felt like a bit of a bait and switch. Something to be aware of if you are making the decision to go somewhat based on that info. Meals were' okay, but it seems they missed the step of putting the bread crumb covered mac n' cheese in the broiler... cast iron pan was rather cold with no crisp to the dish. I've been there before and had a better experience... this visit wasn't great though.
