Dinner was wonderful and Laura was the best waitress too
We had made a reservation for 6 to celebrate two birthdays.
The restaurant called to confirm the reservation.
Our table: Our table was ready. We were seated right away.
Food: We had ordered Calamari, a couple of salads, Sea Bass, Salmon, filet mignon, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Ahi Tuna Poke and a few sides.
Calamari was very good. Everyone liked what had ordered. Breads were good and tasty. However, my Salmon was a bit too crispy.
Wild caught or Farm raised: I asked if the Sea bass and Salmon were wild caught. The answer was quite confusing and didn't make sense to me. The answer was: "it is farm raised in the ocean. So it is is kind of wild caught!!' They have to be raised by the shore of an ocean. It could not be in the middle of an ocean with netting around area where you farm raise the fish.
Wine: I asked to taste Pessimist and Intrinsic as they served both by a glass. Kelly, our server happily brought a small sample. They both were good. Ordered a glass of Pessimist. Very good.
Dessert: Ordered carrot cakes which were quite good. However, not as good as Mitchells's Fish Market.
Ambiance: Nicely decorated, soft lighting, tables were not too close.
Our picture: A young lady took a picture of our group and gave us two copies. A very nice touch.
Service: Kelly was very pleasant, helpful, efficient and smiling. She wished happy birthday. Our water glasses were never empty. Shannon (I think was the name) came over in the end and wished happy birthday and gave two boxes of chocolate.
Value: I found it very expensive. The prices of the sides were ..... For example, Sea Bass (not even wild caught) was $46, it would cost about $36 at other decent restaurants. Sides were around $11 to $17. I think for the price they charge, the fish needs to be really wild caught.
Experience: Quite pleasant. Good for special occasions.
Flemings did a wonderful job welcoming us, and helping me celebrate my birthday. We were welcomed, seated and our drink order taken before we were even settled. Our wait person, Kelly, did a good job, however, she seemed somewhat over-booked. She neglected to bring out the bread, and I ordered a glass of wine, which never arrived. When dinner arrived, other wait persons brought our food out. Normally, at a restaurant like this, the manager arrives to examine your steak. This did not occur. My steak was incorrectly prepared. Kelly called the manager, who offered to re-prepare my steak. I declined, and he took the steak off of the bill, which I did not expect nor require, but he insisted. My fiance's dinner was expertly prepared and we both enjoyed our meals immensely. We also recieved o photo and chocolate truffles as a parting gift. We left a large gratuity as a partial reimbursement for the steak.
Overall service was great, the host seemed young and not very personable , lacks customer service etiquette , the waiter was Amazing , the appetizers were Great, the wine and dessert, the Steak bot so much , my son ordered medium well it came wellover done and dry. Over all the host tooka picture of the family since we were celebrating my husband's birthday, she had to retake it because my husbands head was cut off. received a Birthday card from the staff and chef that was very nice.
The food was delicious. Maybe the best Filet I have ever eaten. Tender & cooked perfect. Great appetizers & desserts. I will definitely go again. Note this is an expensive restaurant but worth it.
Excellent food and service.
Consistently fabulous food. Friendly knowledgeable wait staff.
The food was wonderful and Makaela was a great server!
Food was good service was very good
The steak was supposed to be medium rare. It was bony and bloody. Not any edible meat. Very disappointed. Never had a bad meal at the flemings in Chandler Arizona.
Staff went out of their way to make Grandma and Grandpa feel special on their Anniversary
Excellent service, especially our waitress, Nicki. Steak was delicious, could have been cooked a little longer to be medium. Salad was ok, not great. A little pricey overall. The booth was very comfortable and provided a good degree of privacy.
Have been to Fleming's several times and the visit is always great.
It was ok. Nice bday rose petals on table. Food was not worth it
Service and food were both impeccable
THERE WAS A MANAGER THERE BY THE NAME OF KYLE. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE SURE WE HAD THE BEST SERVICE EVER
Excellent food and service; great ambiance but a little too dark for me
Thanks for a great evening. We had a lot to celebrate and you helped make it special.
It was our anniversay- everything was great-
A girl took out picture and gave it to us in a frame
flowers on the table and a box of candy at the edn
Even the hostess who was been there for ever- usually not very happy-
From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with big, sincere smiles and a greeting for our Wedding Anniversary. There was a greeting card adorned with rose petals on our table. The manager gave us truffles as a present to take home. Our server, Julie Z, attended to all our needs. In fact, all of the servers did a wonderful job! They all pitched in to ensure our stay was nothing but wonderful. And it was. We would definitely be back for the food, wine and great service!
We like to go there on special occasions as we like the food and the ambiance; however, it is rather pricey.
The wine list has become much smaller without many choices in the type of wine I like and the price point is much higher than in prior visits. Especially since they triple the price that I that i could buy locally. Used to order a Villa Maria (savignon blanc wine at a fair price)wine there but they no longer carry it since we were there even 3 weeks ago.
They do give a lovely presentation for an anniversary celebration. Previously, they would also give a gift card of $25.00 to be used at another visit, but we were disappointed they didn’t give it this anniversary.
Out Tomahawk Tuesday selection was a prix fixe and a good value, the meat was delicious. All in all we enjoyed our dinner, especially the lava cake for desert.
For an Anniversary - even when the staff was told - they sat a noisy table with kids jumping up and down next to us!
Very nice dinner. Service was good but not great. Food was very tasty. Pleasant evening
The food is outstanding as always but it's a shame at the prices they charge they continue the cost cutting with the elimination of the cheese and champagne butter bread spread and the smaller size salad. Serve was fabulous.
Chris was very attentive, great service. The food was excellent.
Had a great dinner and service. It was our anniversary and we shared the Tomahawk steak, Fleming’s potatoes and Brussels sprouts. All were excellent. We had an appetizer of shrimp cocktail which I would not recommend- small and not very cold. We had a fantastic dessert— chocolate lava cake. We were given a box of truffles to take home as an anniversary gift. We would definitely go back!!
A great night out with my wife and parents. Food and service were excellent.
They used to give us a gift card and a box of chocolate when we visit them on a special occasion. Now it seems they cut back all those special treat..disappointing
Food was good and the service was very nice
Although it is my go-to special dining place, I was disappointed in a few selections. The calamari was greasy and soggy, not appetizing at all. The Brussels sprouts we’re dowsed in apple cider vinegar and couldn’t be eaten my me or my guest. The prix fix dessert that was ordered was not available and we had to re-select. Other than that, the steak and salad were very good.
I will still consider the restaurant as we have had many fine meals there.
Both the food and the service were outstanding. Flemings know how to make people feel special and have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
This trip was less than outstanding. 3 of the 6 dinners were over-cooked. The staff really tried to make things right but 2 of the 3 stayed with their dinners as time was short-- charred steak is just not that great for steaks ordered medium-well. I didn't care for their new version of an Ahi Tuna appetizer as it had so much sweet sauce and avocado cream, the tuna was lost. The staff was terrific, and the room is lovely but this time, the food fell short.
there was nice decor, the restaurant was clean and quiet however everything else I was unimpressed. Spent $300 on dinner and was thoroughly disappointed. the alcoholic drinks were made incorrectly and had to be remade several times. even with a nearly empty restaurant everything was a long wait for appetizers, drinks, etc. both our steaks were prepared incorrectly and had to be sent back. my mom said her carrot cake was fine but mines was mushy and soggy in the bottom of the carry out container looks like alot of oil. I generally go to Morton's, Eddie Vs, Ruth Chris or even J Alexander's for a good dining experience, this was my first time at fleming's while my mom is a regular. She states it was bad due to it being so close to closing time. Regardless of the time, I still spent $300 for a mediocre 5 course meal at best on 2 people when I wish I went elsewhere.
We went here for our anniversary and were treated like royalty! We had a special table with rose pedals, a picture of us was taken and we were given a framed picture, they gave us truffles as a gift, and everyone greeted us with a "happy anniversary." It couldn't have been better - a must!
Worse Filet that we have ever had at a Fleming’s.
The well done steak was burnt
The medium well and medium steaks were also over cooked.
The Resturant was practically empty.
Unfortunately the cooks had an off night. My husband ordered the chicken and the pepper was too strong, the mushrooms also had too much seasoning. We then tried the salmon in place of the chicken and it was dry. I ordered a steak (medium). It came out way too over cooked. The staff was awesome to deal with. But we won’t go back because the food was not worth the money for what we received.
Amazing as usual. It was my husband's and I birthday and they treated us as such. Love this place.
Haven’t been in awhile. The food and wine have both improved. May turn into one of our regular spots again.
We were treated like royalty from the warm greeting, anniversary rose petals, photograph and card to exceptional service by Jules and chocolates upon departure. The meal was delicious but rather overpriced. While the dining room was almost empty the bar area was hopping. A lesson for next time.
