Fleming's Steakhouse - Birmingham MI
Welcome to Your Birmingham Fleming’s.
Chris was very attentive, great service. The food was excellent.
Had a great dinner and service. It was our anniversary and we shared the Tomahawk steak, Fleming’s potatoes and Brussels sprouts. All were excellent. We had an appetizer of shrimp cocktail which I would not recommend- small and not very cold. We had a fantastic dessert— chocolate lava cake. We were given a box of truffles to take home as an anniversary gift. We would definitely go back!!
A great night out with my wife and parents. Food and service were excellent.
They used to give us a gift card and a box of chocolate when we visit them on a special occasion. Now it seems they cut back all those special treat..disappointing
Food was good and the service was very nice
Although it is my go-to special dining place, I was disappointed in a few selections. The calamari was greasy and soggy, not appetizing at all. The Brussels sprouts we’re dowsed in apple cider vinegar and couldn’t be eaten my me or my guest. The prix fix dessert that was ordered was not available and we had to re-select. Other than that, the steak and salad were very good.
I will still consider the restaurant as we have had many fine meals there.
Both the food and the service were outstanding. Flemings know how to make people feel special and have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
This trip was less than outstanding. 3 of the 6 dinners were over-cooked. The staff really tried to make things right but 2 of the 3 stayed with their dinners as time was short-- charred steak is just not that great for steaks ordered medium-well. I didn't care for their new version of an Ahi Tuna appetizer as it had so much sweet sauce and avocado cream, the tuna was lost. The staff was terrific, and the room is lovely but this time, the food fell short.
there was nice decor, the restaurant was clean and quiet however everything else I was unimpressed. Spent $300 on dinner and was thoroughly disappointed. the alcoholic drinks were made incorrectly and had to be remade several times. even with a nearly empty restaurant everything was a long wait for appetizers, drinks, etc. both our steaks were prepared incorrectly and had to be sent back. my mom said her carrot cake was fine but mines was mushy and soggy in the bottom of the carry out container looks like alot of oil. I generally go to Morton's, Eddie Vs, Ruth Chris or even J Alexander's for a good dining experience, this was my first time at fleming's while my mom is a regular. She states it was bad due to it being so close to closing time. Regardless of the time, I still spent $300 for a mediocre 5 course meal at best on 2 people when I wish I went elsewhere.
We went here for our anniversary and were treated like royalty! We had a special table with rose pedals, a picture of us was taken and we were given a framed picture, they gave us truffles as a gift, and everyone greeted us with a "happy anniversary." It couldn't have been better - a must!
Worse Filet that we have ever had at a Fleming’s.
The well done steak was burnt
The medium well and medium steaks were also over cooked.
The Resturant was practically empty.
Unfortunately the cooks had an off night. My husband ordered the chicken and the pepper was too strong, the mushrooms also had too much seasoning. We then tried the salmon in place of the chicken and it was dry. I ordered a steak (medium). It came out way too over cooked. The staff was awesome to deal with. But we won’t go back because the food was not worth the money for what we received.
Amazing as usual. It was my husband's and I birthday and they treated us as such. Love this place.
Haven’t been in awhile. The food and wine have both improved. May turn into one of our regular spots again.
We were treated like royalty from the warm greeting, anniversary rose petals, photograph and card to exceptional service by Jules and chocolates upon departure. The meal was delicious but rather overpriced. While the dining room was almost empty the bar area was hopping. A lesson for next time.
I was treating a friend to their favorite restaurant for their birthday. When we arrived the hostess was absolutely amazing! She remember my friend by name although it had been a year since he had been. The waitress and manger on duty were professional and accommodating. The food was just ok to me. I had salmon and brussel sprouts. The salmon was excellent and the brussel sprouts tasted like vinegar. I exchanged them for sautéed spinach which when arrived it tasted burnt, like the oil had gotten too hot when being sautéed. Everything we did not like was comped as should have been. My friend ordered steak and potatoes which they enjoyed. This place was ok, just not worth the price of over $200 bucks.
Fantastic food and great ambience
We had a wonderful time at Fleming's for Father's Day. The entire staff catered to our every need, and made a fuss over my husband. We truly enjoyed our meals. We agree that their steaks are even better, if not comparable to, Peter Luger's in NY. Our picky 8-year-old liked his steak too! We highly recommend this place, and we will be back for sure!
Excellent meal preparation and our server made wonderful recommendations to help make a for special evening
Good food quality. Attentive service and good attention to details. Very nice atmosphere.
It was just as good as it always is. Never a problem!
The food and service were very good
great service. Food was very good. Steaks came like we ordered them and were delicious. Sides were good for sharing. And good desserts.
The food is excellent, service oK, ambiance poor (mid week) and very few people.
The wine list, while excellent, is way over priced. Should have more variety mid-priced,... so value is OK for business meals.
Anniversary - thanks for complimentary dessert. Just never really impressed with quality of steak and food.
Terrible experience here on Mother’s Day. They were out of the steaks we ordered, messed up serving salad, delivered wrong side dishes and didn’t split plate or put topping on the side as requested. Will not be back. Although management cut our bill in half, still could not imagine paying that price for the food or service.
Food average. Place looks tired. Noisey. Pushed into seats behind us
So my Salmon was a bit too salty, still it was cooked perfect. The lobster bisque was very good but the asparagus was overcooked. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive but the noise level was way too loud and I don't mean conversation. The music was just too loud. I felt bad for my mom. Her hearing aids kept whistling because of the music until she finally turned them off. She said her Filet was very good though.
Food was amazing and service was even better! Ask to have Erin as your server. Made the happy occasion of my husband’s birthday even more special. Thank you!
The menu prices are very expensive for what you get. Everything is ala-carte and you will spend around $100.00 per person for a three course meal. They discontinued the prime rib 3 course special on Sunday & Monday nights which was $41.95. The Manager said the company is doing away with all there promotions and everything is going to be sold ala-carte. It is time we take our Companies business elsewhere. The food is very expensive for what you get. Best of luck staying in Business
My experience was AMAZING. I love the food and good service.
It was our Anniversary and we had to come and have a great time and a great dinner too.
Slow service on a Tuesday night. Restaurant was not busy at all, and our food took forever. Servers were not attentive. Will not be returning.
Flemings is always predictable. Great Food. Great Service. Great location. The only place to go for Prime Rib!
I have been to Flemings in Livonia/Northville several times and food has been exceptional. First time at the Birmingham location and was not all that impressed. Service was just ok, better experiences at other location, steak came out well done when suppose to be medium well. It was sent back and still came back basically well done. Probably will not go back to this location again.
Superb food and service. Everything was handled with aplomb.
Fleming's Steakhouse chain offers a high quality, high service experience. Across both coasts and now in Detroit, I've enjoyed a consistently enjoyable dining experience. This location is solid - you will not be disappointed.
Ambiance is always great. Waiter was unfamiliar with menu and specials. He seems out of it. Never came back to fill water glasses. Husband and I ordered EXACT same thing...my steak was over cooked his was undercooked. We even ordered steak same cooking directive!
Restaurant was dead; maybe 5 tables full at 7 pm.
All and all not great experience.... used to be our fav but has gone downhill in recent years....and too many other options now.
Easter dinner was lovely
