    Such a wonderful surprise because we had no idea what a treat we were in for. As a lover of Portuguese food, this is definitely one of my favourites. I would recommend it without any hesitation.

    Servers were nice enough but disorganized and slow. Menu was old and inaccurate. Specials seemed to differ by the table. Music was too loud. Restaurant was too cold. Food was poor. Tagliatelle was terrible, shrimp over cooked and everything was definitely over priced. However the bread was fantastic and the espresso was good. Still over priced. Expect to pay $100 a head without booze or dessert.

    Service was not good - there was only 1 table and the wait staff took forever to bring the wine, and we had to wait a long time for our appetizers and wait even longer for the main course. Did not want to wait for desserts. Definitely over rated.

The staff at this restaurant demonstrated a level of attentiveness and expertise that truly elevated our evening. From the moment we were seated, our server guided us through the menu with a deep knowledge of the dishes and wine pairings. They were not only courteous and efficient but also passionate about ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. The romantic ambiance of the restaurant was another highlight of our visit. The dimly lit dining area, adorned with tasteful decor and soft music playing in the background, created an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The tables were beautifully set, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant's design contributed to a feeling of elegance and sophistication.     Had my wife's birthday dinner here. The atmospheres was very nice, servers were very friendly. Foods were delicious; my wife had a steak and she absolutely loved it. The special birthday dessert was great idea. Mission accomplished, made my wife happy.

    Amateurish service over and over in what was to have been a special dinner send-off for family members. In the OpenTable booking, I had made a note that we were celebrating an important occasion but the restaurant staff either did not notice or did not care. On arrival, we ordered three identical drinks, only two were served and the server vanished. After tracking her down 15 minutes later to say that we were still waiting for the third drink, she came back with it after another ten minutes. The first two beverages had been consumed by then so we did not have a toast. The three main courses were served by a different server and the dish served to me was not what I had ordered. The original server was summoned and she said that she recalled my original order but evidently had input it in the computer incorrectly. My guests waited politely but as the dishes were getting cold, I asked them to go ahead. For the next twenty minutes, they kept glancing anxiously over my shoulder, hoping that my meal was coming. When it was finally served, the server apologized (utterly meaningless to us as we sat through a ruined meal) and said that my meal would be "comp'd" (it was not). My guests sat with their now-empty plates while I ate my meal. A man came by when two desserts were served and said that they would be comp'd (they were although at half the price of my main meal). After dessert the servers were nowhere to be found. I kept my credit card in plain view and it took a half hour more to flag down a fellow who brought the bill. Two desserts and one mocktail were comp'd and rather than dispute the sorry mess of a bill, I paid it, providing a tip to reflect the poor service and we left. The ~$40 discount on the bill by the restaurant was ridiculous and did not in any way restore what should have been an enjoyable evening. We can never recapture that occasion we do not recommend Flor de Sal.

    A unique restaurant for anyone who values conversation over dinner in a quiet, charming , beautifully decorated ambience in which service is impeccable and the food delicious. No loud music blaring out, just a calm and civilized oasis in the city.

    My husband and I love this place alot. We usllay fo there on our special days. There is elegancy all over it which attracts me alot. The food is tasty and there are particular selections. A few concerns: - please update your information on Google as the prices there are deceptive. - if you could have 9oz wine measurments - I know prices of everything have increased, but a half bottle of wine to increase to almost twice the previous price.... Mmmmm. All in all, I like the price and I will recommend it to my colleagues.

    Great spot. Clean and tasty food. The cod was excellent, and so was the watercress salad. The side of potatoes was delicious. We ate outside and it was delightful. My favorite restaurant in Toronto so far.

    This restaurant is absolutely amazing, in such a quaint and beautiful neighborhood, it is extremely intimate and perfect for date night. The food is impeccable and really brought the flavours of Portugal to Davenport. Highly recommend visting. Adam was lovely

    Our dinner was absolutely delectable. From appetizers to dessert, the food was freshly prepared, divine flavours and beautiful presentation. Adam was our host/waiter and he was patient, generous with recommendations and graciously accommodating. We sat outside on the patio, which is beautiful and quiet. Great atmosphere, delicious food - couldn't ask for more on a special date night.

    We sat upstairs so it was nice and quiet. Servers were attentive and courteous. The seafood medley was delicious and took me back to Europe. Seafood pasta was delicious albeit the mussels were small. Great place for intimate birthday, they don't make restaurants like this anymore.

    Fantastic food and service. We had the peach salad and shrimp as appetizers. Both were really good. We also had the octopus rice and duck special as mains. Again, both were amazing! Finally, the cocktails were unique and tasty. Service was attentive, friendly and well-times. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    The food is spectacular. The staff are nice enough. HOWEVER, we were placed on the 2nd floor, where there seems to be no AC. It is fairly hot. The serving is very slow.
