The food is spectacular. The staff are nice enough. HOWEVER, we were placed on the 2nd floor, where there seems to be no AC. It is fairly hot. The serving is very slow.

the restaurant is wonderful!! we were warmly welcomed!! the staff is amazing and very professional!! for the food it was just amazing!! the duck breast with perfect cooking!! a favorite for the branzino with risotto was just delicious!! and to finish a crème brulèe and a delicious cheese plate. go there with your eyes closed you are not going to to regret Thank you

Our 45th anniversary. We’ve been to many 5 star restaurants in that time. This was as good as any. Of course the food was outstanding. You would expect that from an expensive restaurant. The real measure of excellence, however, is how they make you feel and we felt like Royalty the entire evening. Excellent effortless service; spotless comforting surroundings and, of course, flawlessly prepared and presented food are all hallmarks of top end dining establishments. Flor de Sal was perfect on all counts and made our celebration what it should be - a night to remember. Thank you.

This was a special occasion out for 2 older couples celebrating their wedding anniversaries. My wife and I had been here many years ago but the other couple had not. We loved everything about this restaurant from the staff to the food. Dishes were, without exception, delicious and beautifully presented. The setting was a perfect balance of casual (comfortable) and formal. The small room had a wonderful ambience--relaxing without being over-the-top. Likewise, the service was a nice balance of casual but with attention to detail. We felt well looked after and even had some surprises added to our meal to celebrate the special occasion. We all agreed that we would happily return with guests or for just a special night out.

Unfortunately, I cannot give more than five stars to Flor de Sal. It was a fantastic experience for a romantic dinner. The food was perfect in flavour and texture, the outdoor patio is beautiful and cozy, and the service was brilliant and impeccable. The attention to detail was the icing on the cake as we were celebrating our marriage anniversary, and the wishes from the team came written on the dessert plate. Definitely, a place to go back to. PS: if you are looking for a specific dish, the octopus was marvellous, and it's fighting for the Top1 in all of the octopus dishes that I have had so far.

Read the reviews and thought I would give it a try before walking around Casa Loma. I went with my mother and niece. Food was delicious and beautiful setting. However, it is clear that this is a snobby, unwelcoming place. A bare hello or smile upon entering would have been nice. The once over / up and down look over, of my niece, was undignified. The rest of service felt like we were a burden. Won't be back.
