Our stunning London Indian Restaurant Lounge Bar offers you a unique take on classic Indian dishes using local and seasonal British produce. Close to Earl's Court and West Brompton stations, Flora Indica is a local restaurant with truly international leanings.

Across two floors of stylish and comfortable drinking and dining areas, our food and décor pays homage to the Scottish botanists who travelled India during the early Victorian era. Our modern-Indian menu emphasises delicately-spiced small plates and sometimes lavish main meals. We offer vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free options as standard.

    Flora Indica is a sight to behold. This unique venue is the perfect setting for wedding receptions and corporate events. Our private dining floor can accommodate up to 30 private dining guests on tables of 6 per table until the June 21 Covid restrictions are lifted - 56 people thereafter. There is a dedicated bar for the restaurant where the bartenders make an array of delicious cocktails, with gin being the house speciality in keeping with the botanical theme. There is also an extensive wine and champagne list to suit all tastes. Private-dining guests are asked to choose in advance from a set menu of modern-Indian dishes. Think delicately-spiced, fresh and light dishes rather than the traditional heavy curry-house fayre that one might expect. Flora Indica opens your eyes to another side of Indian dining.

    My husband and I ate here last week. We shared the seek kebab. I had the duck leg curry and my husband had chicken tikka & makhani sauce. We also shared rice and nan bread. The restaurant had two big groups that night but we were seated away from them and the staff was attentive. Food was very good.

    The ambiance, service, and cocktails equaled our previous experience a few years ago. Most of the small plates were quite good, but the artichokes were swimming in yougurt masking the beauty of the dish and two other warm small plates arrived cold. Small complaints against an inventive menu.

    The experience waS ok until the wait staff hurried us along for the entire back half of our meal and then asked us to leave because another reservation was coming. We also had a reservation and the table was. Or full so the rushing made no sense. Unfortunate.

    We had the late reservation of the evening so that may have skewed our experience. Staff was courteous, if less than happy to be there. Food sounded great on menu but hit and miss delivery. Things that should have been crunchy was soggy, that should have been warm were cool. Staff didn’t even pretend to offer dessert. Overall, it seemed like person in charge didn’t really care.

    The meal lived up to our expectations and the restaurant's own descriptions of its meals. We had interesting variations of Indian food that we had never seen on other menus. The service was great. We were staying near Earl's Court so it was also very easy to get to.

    I had been looking forward to eating at Flora Indica for three months, and it was completely worth the wait. Easily the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted and one of my top five restaurant experiences to date. Highly recommend!!

    Flora Indica has to be one of my favourite "go to" restaurants in London. I'm always well received. The quality of the food is consistently excellent. Their cocktail menu is innovative. And their wine list is very well curated to work with Indian food. On this occasion (Saturday, 15 JUL 2023), I had reserved a table for 5 at 7 PM. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was immediately seated. The rest of my party arrived bang on time. All but one of my guests had not been to Flora Indica before, so there was a lot of questioning of the wait staff but eventually we put in a varied order including starters, small plates and mains, along with several side dishes. We all shared the food and no one had any complaints. We all walked away feeling very satisfied.

    Came across this restaurant when watching Top Chef so decided to give it a go. The food was super delicious, although portions pretty small for the price. Was pretty empty when we arrived at 7pm and service was good. By the time we got round to dessert it was a lot busier and service slowed down for us. By the time we left (9pm) it was full and lively. Would I return? Jury’s out.

    Food was excellent, the ambience was very nice. The service was good for adults, but they completely ignored our 11-year-old, from not giving her a menu, to not asking her if she wanted anything to drink after taking our drink orders, to not bringing her a napkin or flatware, it was a bit rude and surprising.

    Maybe our expectations were set too high having read many great reviews, but we were underwhelmed. The food was good- lots of great flavours but too much tasted the same. We were encouraged by the waiters to order more than we could actually manage to eat and generally we found the service a bit disorganised. The bill came in at 200 pounds for the 2 of us: 2 snacks, 4 small dishes, 2 main dishes, rice and a side chard dish. One bottle of wine plus 2 glasses of wine.

    Fantastic food served at a perfect pace. We did the tasting and it was better than the Michelin Star restaurant that we went to the night before. It's a must if you are a foodie!
