   This is a a GREAT special occasion restaurant. We just went for a family Sunday dinner because we felt like enjoying life, but we have also been for birthdays and graduations. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The building is a cute old townhouse and the owners have made great use of textiles to help manage volume and temperature. Oh and the food is fantastic. I had mushroom risotto because I love all things mushroom. My son had a “Sunday gravy” which featured sausages, and my daughter had the seafood risotto. The waiter was helpful and attentive, the food arrived at a good pace so we were well fed but not rushed. We will return! Always a great experience.

   Great experience dinner was amazing The service was absolutely phenomenal. I look forward to returning many more times whether you are vegetarian pescatarian there’s something on the menu for everybody.

   I was visiting my daughter and her boyfriend in DC. This is such a quaint restaurant - nice ambiance (table was a little small for 3 people, drinks, wine glasses and bread and pesto (OMG that was DELICIOUS)! We order the Sunday dinner - boyfriend loved it , quite filling. Daughter order the fettuccine and it was delicious - limited on the clams though. I order the butternut squash ravioli which was the perfect size and very tasty. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

   This is such a lovely cozy restaurant, everything we ordered was delicious and everyone working there was friendly, warm, and good at their jobs. The maitre d'/host was so kind and accommodating about rescheduling our reservation when my boyfriend was running late at work, AND they brought us a tiramisu with a candle in it because it was my birthday :) 10/10, would recommend!

    Had 5 pm reservations on a Saturday and were the only customers there for at least 30 minutes. Staff was very good - professional and friendly. Food was quite good. Seared scallops I'd get again (though one or two more scallops on the plate wouldn't hurt). Wife's lasagna was quite good as well. Tiramisu big enough for two to split. Thumbs up.

    It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and the staff made our experience incredible! They brought out his dessert with candles and a handwritten note, which was much appreciated. Our service all evening was quick and incredible, and the food was outstanding. Will absolutely go back!

    Valentines Day celebration in great style. Food wonderful. Staff, especially Maria and Baht, wonderful. Very professional and lively to talk to. They made the whole evening really nice. Or favorite restaurant in DC.

    Such great food and amazing wine deals. The service is always attentive at Floriana and the decor and atmosphere are lovely. I would recommend a bit more room between tables as it was too easy to eavesdrop!

    The bread with pesto was amazing — their pesto is out of this world. We did get arancini for appetizer, but I wish we had gotten the calamari. The table around us did and it smelled amazing. The Sunday Gravy was very good, my partner ordered Aglio Olio and that was a little disappointing — it was quite dry. Overall, we had great time dining here!

    We ate at 7:00 on a Monday night so fortunately it was not crowded and was quite quiet. Everyone was happy with their food. The burrata ravioli in a butter sauce and lasagne were both terrific. The seafood risotto, despite have two large scallops on top lacked much other seafood but the scallops were delicious. The service was excellent.

    I come for Dito’s Bar downstairs! The ambiance is amazing and for for great cocktails and fine conversation. Dito is a charmer and a gentleman with an erudite sensibility. Calamari continues to dazzle, while his martinis are top notch.

    Exceptional food in a warm cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the mussels, wild boar ravioli, and the duck breast was cooked to perfection. The arancini are light and served with a sauce that has a delightful kick. We enjoyed a pleasant leisurely dinner.

    All around great experience. Service, food, price and wonderful quiet environment. It was like dining in someone’s home. Tables are tight but most are only 2 or 4 people so noise was not an issue. My only wish was to slow down food delivery. Our dinner was served before we had finished our appetizers.

    Bartender (not Dito because he would know better) does not know how to pour scotch. Scotch should always be poured at about 2-fingers deep. We ordered relatively expensive single malt and got maybe a half shot in our glasses. Pouring scotch is not like pouring a shot of vodka/gin. Between the three of our glasses, we drank about an ounce each of scotch that cost almost as much as the bottle. It was disappointing.
