    Christmas high tea is a wonderful tradition. The food was great and the staff very friendly. We took our 5yr old twins for the first time and although they were well behaved I think I’ll hold off bringing them again until they are a bit older and can appreciate the food more for the price. They were also very well received by the staff. Over all the price is a bit much for the experience but it was a lovely afternoon with the family.

    We were there for lunch. Our waiter Nigel was very personable and very knowledgeable about food and wine. Gnocchi was excellent and so was the pork tenderloin. Also enjoyed the eggplant and beef dish very much. The apple vegan dessert was excellent. Like how they are very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions.

    The jumbo shrimp cocktail is so delicious. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying peppercorn sauce was so tasty. I also highly recommend the sharing plates of salt and vinegar fries, sautéed asparagus and mushrooms. And the real reason I keep going back to The Shore Club is the impeccable service which is the best in Ottawa. Thank you to all the staff at The Shore Club!
