We could always been Elway steakhouse patrons until they closed! After one meal, we are sold on Shanahan‘s the quality of all the appetizers and dinners and the size of their menu one above and beyond all expectations a party of eight with appetizers drinks and desserts all was phenomenal! I highly recommend them with no doubt!

So glad we chose this for my 65th birthday celebration. When we arrived, I asked the hosts if my Open Table requests when making the reservation had been reviewed, and they assured me they had. We got to a half booth which was elevated a bit and there were Happy Birthday sprinkles on the tablecloth and the hostess who seated us wished me a Happy Birthday. Then Sean came over to offer us water and let us know he would be on the floor to help out as needed and he wished me a Happy Birthday. Then our server Greg arrived and he was attentive and efficient and wished me a Happy Birthday and did so much to help us feel welcomed and attended to throughout the meal. My husband and I both chose the Sunday Surf and Turf special the restaurant was offering and we enjoyed every bite. I started with Caesar salad and my husband had an arugula salad with green apples, goat cheese and walnuts. Then we both had the 8 oz filet with a Crab Oscar topping and a Cabernet demi underneath, and the filet sat on some well cooked asparagus. For our included sides, my husband chose truffle mac and cheese and he said it was delicious. I chose a bacon creamed spinach, which was the best of this dish I've ever had. I don't eat bread, but my husband enjoyed the bread basket, which had slices of sourdough and also a few saltsticks, and he said both were delicious. One of the managers named Brandon stopped by our table to welcome us and thank us for celebrating our special occasion. We noticed all around us other tables were celebration special occasions as we were. Our server Greg offered us dessert and we asked for a dish of mixed berries and whipped cream to share. This wasn't on the menu, but he said 'no problem' and we had a lovely dish of berries and cream to share. The restaurant itself is lovely - very modern, but warm and cozy at the same time. The whole experience was wonderful and we would be happy to visit again.

Venice - Our Family Favorite! For beverages, my husband's martini was perfect, and I enjoyed selecting a new wine from the extensive list. We enjoyed the veal meatballs in a spicy arrabiata sauce, with pancetta, parmesan and gorgonzola cheese, accompanied by grilled garlic bread. We selected the delicious Mozzarella Caprese, with generous slices of golden heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olives, fresh basil, and Tuscan olive oil. Our entrees included one of the specials of the evening: Linguine Vongole (linguine served with an abundant portion of delicious clams in a lemon chardonnay wine broth). For the second entree, we chose Cappellacci Di Zucca-- homemade, hat-shaped ravioli filled with roasted butternut squash, walnuts, and parmesan cheese served in a marinara-brown butter sauce. Both are family favorites! Our dessert selections were almost too beautiful to eat, but we did: Vulcano (homemade warm chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream); Cannoli (cannoli filled with black cherries and chocolate chips, ricotta cream); and the amazing New York style cheesecake, served with fresh blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries. The ambiance is beautiful and warm. Our server, Chris, was attentive and perfect. For special occasions or a relaxing dinner any night of the week, Venice is simply the best!
