My wife and I have eaten here 3 times and the food keeps getting better. It is a little pricey but the food is excellent and the service has always been very good.

Food was great and having a reservation for a Sunday morning was a really good idea. We had a 1030 slot for four people and there was a huge line hoping to get in without reservations. Food is fresh and prepared with love, along with knowledgable servers and gracious host staff. I had one item not come with my meal as ordered and when it finally did arrive the server insisted on taking it off my bill....classy service and great food! Can't wait to go back.

Great service and great food and not too expensive. Seemed like a young energetic staff. The menu was really good for breakfast, I had buttermilk blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and they were delicious. The wife's eggs Benedict were also quite good. Overall a nice experience especially for a hotel's restaurant.

This was the most creative and delicious meal I’ve had out in a long time. The food is all local and seasonal. The chef’s offerings are incredibly unique and unexpected. We enjoyed our waiter’s knowledge and personable manner. Thanks for a memorable evening. We will be back for more the next time we are in town.

We were able to change our reservation time at the last minute and our server, Ryan, was lovely. He patiently explained all the dishes and wisely did not enter the order for our 5th dish until we had eaten most of the first 4. He was right. We were way too full to eat more. For 3 adults with a beer each I thought $133 was pretty good. We had the bison carpaccio, cast iron pan bread, Gelderman pork chop, and smoked duck breast. The dishes were described as being intended to be shared but I didn't think it would work very well that way. However, it worked just fine. And the food was all very tasty. Pork and duck both moist and tender. We ate quite early but even once the restaurant was full the noise level was low enough that we could talk at a normal volume and hear each other easily.

BC cuisine showcased at its best. Extremely fresh, and innovative menu. Wonderfully plated. Tried the salmon and duck, as well as oysters! Had the beer flight which includes a small appetizer. Too bad we didnt have room for dessert! Has a buffalo plate for an extremely unique Canadian experience.

We had a great time at forage. The bison carpaccio is very light as is the caramel dessert. Service is attentive. Beer is really good! Overall worth the visit.

What a fantastic dinner! One of the best meals we've had! Our waiter was fantastic, great personality and recommendations. We decided to order the mushroom dish and then the bison board. Everything was beyond delicious! The preparations and flavors were perfect. Delicious cocktails, too! A must-go-to while in town!

The service was VERY poor and inattentive. We had a business meeting there, 6 guests, I recommended this place because I've been there over a year ago. Well... lots changed since then!
The menu had very little choice for my diet requirements (GF, Vegan) so I ended up with a plate full of fried mushrooms with garlic and few cooked blueberries as a sauce. 1st of all it was not a meal, it was a side dish, and second, it was absolutely terrible combination. It's like putting a whipped cream on a spaghetti bolognese.
We got our dishes served in a different times so by the time the last person got their meal, the first served person's dinner was cold.
Total embarrassment in front of my clients.
We ordered drinks which came about 15 mins later and to order the second one we had to literally go to the bar. Where was our server???!!!
Very, very, very bad experience. And absolutely overpriced...
NEVER EVER going back to this restaurant.
If you're a meat eater, going to Forage with friends and don't mind cold food, go for it. Oh and forget about a second drink.... No one there to take your order!

If you haven't had a chance to try Forage, you simply must. The food is amazing and is continually being updated to what is freshest and best at the time.

For sure a foodie restaurant. I made the mistake of taking a non-foodie who was surprised by the preparation and additions to certain dishes. That aside, the food was great and creative if you are looking to try something new and exciting. The beer flight was also a fun touch.

I have been here many times and have always been impressed. Our server forgot our drinks and they didn't arrive until the food came. I was quite embarrassed as I brought people and talked very highly of the restaurant. It's also time to get a vegan option. Its not fair being charged for a meal that includes meat and eggs and you end up getting a smaller portion because you are omitting it. It would have been nice to get more veggies instead. I won't be recommending this restaurant to guests that I serve anymore. There are so many other options in Vancouver.

We went on Valentine’s Day and got the special board which consisted only of meat and fish. It was a shame that for the price (150 CAD) there were no accompaniments. The meat/fish was either undercooked or salty and so we were a bit disappointed but overall the food was still good but quite pricey for what it was. We would try again but order from the normal menu.

There is nothing on the menu that isn’t incredible - and I can say that having returned for a second visit in 4 days with different plates enjoyed each time. Josh was our engaging and enthusiastic host on Monday evening; he set the stage for our first journey across sea, sky, land and soil. His knowledge of, and pride in, the offerings was contagious...so much so that I brought Australian colleagues in on Thursday to be introduced to amazing Canadian food (which I tried to pretend was “typically Canadian”...I wish!!). Tori was our Thursday host; her descriptions of the plates were so passionate and (dare I say) sensuous that we simply said yes to everything she suggested. Not one mistake made - we savoured every. single.bite. We were fortunate to have got a table with our afternoon of reservation - Thursday is clearly the beginning of the weekend at Forage. Regardless, Tori gave us what seemed to be undivided attention through the evening, though I suspect that all of us at her many tables felt the same. As we were leaving, Josh (who had arrived for supper with friends on his night off - and doesn’t that say something positive about Forage?) recognized me and came over for a big hug...a perfect close to my visit to Vancouver and to my second to Forage!

What a phenomenal dinner spot. Took my dad and partner there for my dad's 75th birthday and we had an incredible dining experience. The food was to die for and the staff were friendly and brought a really nice vibe to our evening. They even treated us to a couple of complimentary desserts for his birthday! We love coming here and will certainly do so again!
