Excellent as always, been a regular to Forage for many years, now. Their brunch is the perfect amount for the value - highly recommend the scones with honey butter!

Food is incredibly good. Scones are baked fresh each day and super tasty. Eggs benny are good except the kitchen doesn’t seem to understand what medium poach means... I have twice now ordered that and been given soft poach both times. Maybe order hard poach if you want medium? Service is very good though, better than a lot of other places I’ve been to in the city. Will go back.

went here with my wife, daughter and her husband.
we shared the Bison special which was amazing.
we added a few other dishes and had a beer tasting.
order the pan bread for an appi and then again for desert.
amazing, sweet and spicy.
I suggest they add some vodka cocktails as they were all Gin and whiskey
minor detail, 2nd time there and want to go back.

We love Forage. The two things that distinguish this restaurant from other places in Vancouver are the creativity of the chef + local ingredients and the service. This last time we went there, we tried the dessert made from almost all vegetables and it was delicious. We also LOVE Sebastian who is an amazing server and through his energy and kindness makes our evening special every time.

Cosy ambiance with nice central bar and app. 20 tables, tasty and creatieve dishes, carefully balanced all local ingrediënts. Certanly real gourmet quality. Defenately go for a dessert. The staff completed the experience. The were very knowledgeble and enthousiastic. It would be wise to listen to what they have to say because their reccomendations are spot on. Reasonable priced.

Truly enjoyed our dinner at Forage. It felt like a fine dining experience without the price tag. We had the chowder, duck confit, bison steak and salmon, as well as two desserts and they were all incredible, from the taste to the presentation. The service was impeccable too. A 5-star experience

Our hotel selection for our Vancouver trip was the Listel Hotel that Forage is connected to. Naturally we were drawn to the write ups for Forage. It definitely did not disappoint! The menu items were creative and delicious. The fresh morel mushrooms were to die for. We would definitely come again on another Vancouver trip.

The idea behind this restaurant was a great one. My wife and I have been to many farm to table, tapas restaurants but this one could use some adjustments. The tables are uncomfortably close together - if you’re left handed and the person at the table next to you is right handed, you will bump elbows (maybe 12 inches apart). They need to move the restaurant off the busy strip to allow more square footage to accommodate a better experience. The introduction to the dishes from the waiter including ingredients and cooking methods were nonexistent - which is the reason you go to a restaurant like this. The food was just “ok”. This might be the Applebee’s of this type of restaurant.

If you’re going to enjoy yourself it’s more of a $$ place, not $. But it was all well prepared with very nice presentation. We had the gnocchi which was less flavorful than I expected, the morels which were quite good, the Farmers Salad which was outstanding, the asparagus - delicious- and the very best of all, the duck breast. It’s a nice food experience and the wait staff is informative and helpful. Worth a stop!

This restaurant is always "on" with the menu. Never disappoints. The Bison Hash is a favourite brunch pick. Lunch faves include the chowder and all the shareable items.
Cocktails are phenomenal.
We have never had a bad meal at Forage. It is one of our top Vancouver restaurants (and we eat out every day), and have tried almost all of them.

This was our second visit in a week and we thought it was just a little less good than the first visit. We wondered if it was because the style was no longer new to us but decided it was not that. The food was just fractionally less 'crisp' -tired strawberries as garnish- the wine was slightly less perfectly chilled and the soup slightly less perfectly hot. Still worth a visit.

Had seen earlier reviews that the noise level was high and they weren't wrong. Food was good, but service was uneven - had to ask for cutlery after our meal was delivered. Our friends shared the chowder, which they said was very good, but no napkins or serving spoon, only their own soup spoons to ladle from serving dish to bowls. Overall ok, but only because it was close to where our friends were staying. Would go again but only if we were in the neighbourhood, would never make a special trip.

Wonderful experience. Service was great and atmosphere was friendly. Loved the use of local ingredients. The food was fantastic and ranged from familiar to more creative dishes. There is something for everyone. I loved that most things were small plates so you could try a lot of different things. I appreciated their wine and beer flight options for curious imbibers.

This was truly a delicious meal, with some unusual food, that was however not too far “out there”. I have a variety of food allergies (shellfish, chocolate, sesame, nuts and seeds) that were fully and willingly accommodated, and my vegetarian colleague, who cannot eat cheese, also had a delicious meal. The server was friendly and helpful.
