Our dinner was superb lovely chowder, oysters, tender bison ( a must ) and chocolate dessert to share. Great service and we will be back!
Super busy evening and as always amazing! Its definitely our go too spot when we we’re hosting friends and family.
One of the best. My husband and I would give the food and service we received 7 stars if we could.
Food was sent back twice, tasteless and then we were left with zero service, expensive for what it was and really loud for brunch
Wonderful service and food! We especially appreciated how excellent all the staff were!
Food was good, ambience nice. The restaurant was very cold which was uncomfortable . The bison was excellent aa was the halibut. Cheese selection was not varied but wine good. Probably wouldn’t go again.
Our waiter was amazing and tended to our every need. We had a table of 5 and everyone was happy with their brunch except me. Mine was only ok. I had the lentils and poached eggs.
The restaurant was packed. The noise level was high and the atmosphere very dense and stuffy.
We were made to feel quite guilty right from the start that we weren't ready to order. My coffee was left un-refilled. The window ledge had an abandoned sausage on it.
Otherwise, the food was delicious, the ambiance convivial and the drinks worth imbibing.
The meal and the service were fantastic. It's been a few days so I can't exactly remember what we ordered, but the gnocchi sticks out in my mind! Their branded chardonnay was great too. We'd definitely recommend!
A fresh and innovative menu in a space that is clean lined, inviting and attractive. The seats could be a bit more comfortable, table height was very good. Our server was extremely energetic, helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a medley of dishes, but found ourselves a bit underwhelmed with the flavors. Presentation was excellent; and sharing dishes in general are fine. The wine list is adequate with good representation of price points, style and geographic range. Reflecting on the dishes, pricing seems fair. I remain ambivalent about a strong recommendation; try lunch instead?
Bit pricey, but the food and service are truly amazing.
I have been a few times and it is a great place for breakfast/brunch. This specific visit the service was a bit slow and we had to remind about replenishing the cream and sugar for coffee. Food was great, as usual.
Amazing food--some of the best I've had in the city. Our server was kind and attentive, and he was passionate about the food, which always makes the dining experience better. I also really appreciated their attention to food allergies. If you're celiac, most of the menu is safe or can be modified, and they will take very good care of you!
the food was good, very friendly service, but the noise was horrible
One of the diners at our table had a number of allergies (she brought a laminated list). Our server and the kitchen took special care. We really appreciated this. Our server offered samples of unfamiliar beers and ciders to help us decide on drinks too. Bravo to the staff!
Forage is a great place to chat over shared plates. Go there soon.
great place for weekend brunch! must-try the scones! i had the weekend special - fish cake benny - delish! and must-try lemonade mimosa! will be back to try other items :) it was very busy, if you’re thinking about brunch, better make a reso!
Good restaurant, the farm to table aspect is very interesting and most things (jams, pickles, etc) are made in house which is really cool
Delicious food and wonderful service
Great service, descent food and comfortable environment.
Both of our fish dishes were outstanding. A dessert that was not sweet and vegetable-based was also a welcome relief. The small space can be noisy with big parties.
Food delicious. But other people that sat down after me got their food first. They must have forgotten. Then the meal I ordered wasn’t the way I asked. But they made up for it by comping one of my meals.
Delicious brunch menu!
Brent was an amazing server!
Food is killer .. Bbq duck chowdwr and bison entree are on point
Very personable servers brought us very tasty food. Other person was well treated as a vegetarian eater as well. This was my second time here venturing up the hill from the waterfront hotels, which I’d recommend for travelers who want to get a bit more local flavor.
Not a place to miss when in Vancouver and It lives up to its name. Bison steak was over the top the pan bread was five stars with our group the halibut perfectly cooked that we had no room for dessert maybe next time
Warm welcome, great dining experience!
Wonderful local BC produce crafted into unique dishes that are beautifully presented. Several vegetarian choices (even better without mushrooms). Do not miss the fry bread in spicy honey with cheddar- it would also be a great dessert. Great beer choices and BC wine list.
The food & service was outstanding. The entree portion was a bit on the small side.
Excellent food and very good service. The wine list has some real values on it.
Celebrating friends birthday
Creative stuff, farm to table, without the over fussy overdone...you know. Still playing big league ball after all these years. Great value to boot.
We tried the special, a fish cake Benny with lemon/dill hollandaise, very tasty. Service was excellent.
Always great meal.
Started with the pan bread, followed by the beet salad, ended with the bison. All were absolutely excellent!
food was amazing!!! service was a little bit rushed
The restaurant should be called Hunt, not Forage. MEAT, MEAT,MEAT! No salads, No side vegetables, just little sprigs of green.
As foragers, they are lucky they have a friend who HUNTS!
I Would have liked a more balanced menu.
As with many upscale restaurants the presentation was lovely but the amount of food was small
Brunch was really good!
As always eating at Forage was a great experience. Josh provided great recommendations and was always on top of our dining experience, and he went above and beyond in helping us feel comfortable and VIP :)
