Dinner from 5pm nightly
We can come to you, or you can enjoy your special occasion in one of our private spaces.
We loved our dining experience at forage. A great way to discover the bountiful flavors of the NW.
As usual, Forage didn’t disappoint. We brought “foodie” friends who hadn’t been to Forage before, and they couldn’t stop mentioning how fantastic their entrees were. We had scones, Halibut Benedict, Foraged Mushrooms, Bison Hash, and Cutlet Sandwich between 5 of us...and everything was perfection.
Great food. Fantastic service. We love to eat at places where the menu is creative and this fit the bill.
Our friends from Virginia loved the food and the atmosphere.
The service was impeccable and the food was wonderful.
Everything we ordered was excellent. The best item was the lamb ragu with fettucinni that my daughter ordered. I had the bison filet which was also outstanding. My wife ordered a salad which was quite good. My son ordered the salmon special which was a bit of a letdown for him because it was a cold dish. Still excellent but not what he was expecting or desired
The food and service were exceptional. Well worth dealing with the crowded noisey environment. I will definitely go back!
Great place to come and share food! Loved the croquettes and pork duo dishes.
This was our best restaurant experience during our 3 weeks holiday in Western Canada.
Service was great. I really enjoyed my charcuterie plate and the mimosa drink. love to go brunch there
I really wanted to enjoy the brunch at Forage, however, the food was seriously under seasoned. I was shocked at how BLAND the food was. It seems to be an issue with a lot of Vancouver restaurants where they look great on paper or on their websites, and where they highlight local and seasonal ingredients as a feature. Regardless of seasonal ingredients or pretty plating, it kills the overall food experience when food is not seasoned properly. My eggs benny came on a really small plate (which was strange), the english muffin was under toasted, and the eggs were cooked at different consistencies. The potatoes, though cooked well, were bland beyond words. Please Forage, at minimum, have your chef elevate the food with salt, pepper, and herbs. Also, our server was barely present and we had to flag her down to get basic things like water. Really subpar experience at Forage, and unfortunately the fun environment isn't enough incentive to want to go back. Sorry, because I really want to support this restaurant :(
Creative menu. Casual yet upscale atmosphere. Attentive wait staff. Moderately priced for the quality of the food that was served. Delicious!
I had read with watering mouth about Forage in my foodie magazines so when we were planning our trip to Vancouver, a visit here was definitely on the list. The food did not disappoint. Each dish was not only creative and delicious, but everything was locally sourced. The menu encourages sharing, which was hard to do because everything was so yummy. We had the oysters, charcuterie board, heirloom tomato salad, halibut and bison. (I'm not a meat eater, but I had to take a taste of bison and admit that it was delish). Highly recommend.
Food was amazing but portions are small and very expensive. Dessert puff was to die for.
one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Food was excellent and so was the service. Will definitely come back, especially for those Morels!
Outstanding. Shared plates, all excellent. The bison carpaccio is amazing. Service was very good. Friendly, helpful.
Very expensive for the amount of food one gets, and ordering one 30-40 dollar item turns out to not even be enough per person! One such item was lamb fettuccini, which was delicious but had the satisfying feel of campfood! (Pasta with some shredded meat and cheese mixed into it).
Outstanding quality, consistency and value for money every time.
This was our first trip into forage and it exceeded our expectations. It was a great meal in every aspect. We have recommended it to everyone that has asked how it was. We will be back.
Horrible service by staff who presented with body language of complete disinterest, boredom, and displayed an uncaring mood. The service was bizarrely slow even just to get seated when there were 4 empty tables outside. We ordered muffins, scrambled eggs, potatoes. After 18 minutes I asked if we could please just get the muffins as they were baked fresh, ready and just sitting in the display case. The waitress who was frowning the entire time replied, “Oh gosh thank you for alerting me that you are hungry. Well I will just have to tell the chef.” When our eggs and potatoes arrived, they were barely warm and tasteless. DO NOT spend time waiting to get in or eat here.
Great service, unique and delicious dishes. Restaurant is small but during our meal a bit noisy (lots of hard services).
Food was the focus, and it was unusual and really wonderful although a little to "prepared". Service was prompt but with a little too much attitude.
Awesome experience. Loved every single dish.
Haven't been in Vancouver for a couple of years, but I made sure I had a reservation at Forage. Always an excellent meal, friendly service, I recommend it thoroughly !
I loved everything but price of a few items that we ordered - tomato salad $25 , 3 dabs of cheese and one or 2 tomatoes (I overheard other customers saying they were glad they didn’t order it) also the bison steak $43 for about 5 strips of steak over some potatoes
Excellente nourriture et service impeccable!
Forage is consistently excellent, in all the ways you would hope. Beautifully realized.
Food was very good but portions are quite small and menu not always descriptive enough of the plate.
We were there on a Saturday and ordered the Bison Board, as recommended by our server. The Bison Board is only offered on Saturdays and the chef only prepares 10 of these, so definitely order one if they are still available! My husband and I don’t drink, but the wine list looked impressive and well chosen. I love that Forage has a farm to table philosophy that focuses on sustainability. The food was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious!
Plates are served family style for sharing, so go with someone who is open to trying new things or has the same taste as you. Watch the plates as they come out for other guests to get an idea of the options!
Fantastic food and service!
Excellent food and ambiance. Small dishes to share, tasteful and very appetizing presentation.
Our meal was wonderful. I think my wife read about this place in the NYT. While traveling in Canada, this was easily one of the best meals we had. The dessert we had is one of the most memorable I've *ever* had - some sort of cheese puff with cheese and ice cream. We would definitely go back. Our server was great, too. Didn't overcrowd us but right there when we needed more wine. :)
Attentive, knowledgeable host, interesting food, good beverage selection
The service was excellent, food was absolutely amazing. It always is. This time it was the gnocchi, pan bread and bison steak. Perfect!
Excellent as always, been a regular to Forage for many years, now. Their brunch is the perfect amount for the value - highly recommend the scones with honey butter!
The food was delicious and came quickly. Our server was really sweet. And you can make a reservation for Sunday brunch!
Food is incredibly good. Scones are baked fresh each day and super tasty. Eggs benny are good except the kitchen doesn’t seem to understand what medium poach means... I have twice now ordered that and been given soft poach both times. Maybe order hard poach if you want medium? Service is very good though, better than a lot of other places I’ve been to in the city. Will go back.
Great meal, outstanding service!
Such wonderful food and great atmosphere. I've never tasted a bite of anything at Forage that I didn't love!
