The restaurant is located in the heart of the revitalized Madison Street area, just four blocks West of Harlem Avenue.

We have been to Francesca's Fiore in Forest park many times. This was our first time for Sunday brunch. The menu is excellent. We appreciated the soup or salad and half a sandwich choices at a very reasonable price. The staff was attentive but not hovering. The food was excellent. Not a bite was left to take home. Maybe next time we'll order a full meal so we have those delicious left overs.
Loved that we could be accommodated by being in a quieter room. It is so unpleasant to go out to socialize and not be able to hear your company.
My mother and I had a lovely dinner, and our waiter Alex was so nice and cheerful. Great food, great service!
everything was excellent and our waiter Uriel was terrific!!
This was a new find for us. Wonderful surprise. It's affordable but the food is excellent. Sometimes Italian food in the Chicago area can be rather heavy. This was not at all the case here. Really glad I found it.
went there on independence day for an early dinner. the burrata appetizer was wonderful. meal was very good also. we had a cocktail and wine. great place for a date.
We dine often at Francescas and it has always been very good. However our last experience was tremendous. Our server was spot on. The appetizer and main courses were top notch. And our wine was fantastic! We highly recommend!
Our waiter basically forgot about us... never checked in on us.. never asked if we wanted refills on drinks.. and we had to flag someone down to pay the bill.. we sat for almost 20 minutes to pay the check.. the noise level was horrible and there was a screaming baby at the next table.. the food was amazing but soured by the lack of service.. especially when you can watch him actually giving good service to other tables... and just to be clear.. we are not a problem table. The only request was my daughter asked for no tomatoes on her dish.. and you guessed it.. there were tomatoes all over it.. she just picked them off and ate her food.. mainly because it did not look like the waiter was ever coming back.. I honestly think he was mad that we did not all order alchohol...
We had a reservation and we were taken right on time.
Thanks for a great Father's Day for my husband since our sons couldn't be here with him.
This is one of the best in Forest Park.
This was the most disappointing experience. We were there to celebrate our daughters graduation and we waited 20 minutes for service.
Then once served the meal for 4 took over 2 hours.
Server was disinterested and disengaged.
Will never return.
Superb service, wonderful cocktails excellent food. Absolutely a perfect place to go and enjoy
Pasta entrees very good, bread was warm and delicious. Bartender couldn’t get a classic cocktail ( Old Fashioned) right after sending back twice. Adjacent bar noise was not only loud while we dined, but also profane. Waitress even forgot to give us a pen to sign the credit card slip. Disappointing overall.
I mentioned on the Open Table reservation we were celebrating a birthday, but I guess that never got delivered to the staff?
Food and service were great. The only issue I had was seating. The table was situated at an angle in the front dining room. There were 5 of us and my seat was close to an adjacent table with very little space for people to move through, so my seat was constantly being bumped. I moved to another part of the table and it was a little better. My suggestion would be to not even have a table in that location or be more mindful of the foot traffic patterns in that dining room.
As always Francesca’s had a wonderful buffet for Mother’s Day. We plan to go back often
Mother’s Day Brunch... outstandingl!
We had a delightful dinner at Francesca's Fiore this week. Each of us ordered a different entree, adn they were all delicious! The Talapia con Brodetto was out of this world. Our server gave us the time we needed and was very gracious. We had a lovely evening, and I recommend Francesca's Fiore highly.
Easter Brunch there was one of the best we’ve ever had! Such a huge variety of foods to pick from.
The food is always good and well prepared. The wine selection offers something for everyone. The service was great and very attentive. Love the warm fresh bread.
We will keep going.
Food was wonderful.
As soon as we entered the restaurant a smell of an old moldy basement hit me. The food quality is very poor, not fresh. I ordered a snapper and asked for it to be cooked through because I’m pregnant. They served me raw fish inside. I will not return there and I do not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing experience!
Wonderful place. They remembered it was a birthday too!
Our server was great - however there were some times when she wasn't able to attend to our table - could have been the staffing. The food was excellent. My dining companion had the trout - and while I had asked for it plain, it arrived wrapped in prosciutto... which we peeled off. The fish was moist and well prepared - just had the taste of the ham. The minestrone and roasted potatoes were great. The sauteed shrimp were outstanding. The host and staff demonstrate attention to the guests that makes this a place well worth visiting.
Service is attentive but not annoyingly so. This is a good place to bring families. Note that you can request dishes that are not on the menu (for example: chicken parmesan or ravioli). Olive oil for dipping bread is a bit spicy.
Service was exceptional, food was great and there is a room you can choose to dine in that is conversation level.
Great place, great service but the food wasn’t great
Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience. We waited a long time before anyone stopped by the table and then there was miscommunication throughput the night. I can’t imagine this was typical because the service was horrible. We almost left during dinner. In the end, they did the right thing and took care of the meal but I want the 2 1/2 hours back.
Took 45 minutes for food to be brought out. When it was brought, the Pasta was not cooked all the way. So much so that it was sticking together in clumps. Not only that but hey never brought oil out for the bread. Not to mentioned we were seated at a high top that was wobbly. The waiter pushed it against the wall to fix it..with how many Italian restaurants there are in the area, I will not return.
Took almost two hours for food. Then when we got it, it was cold and not how we ordered it. Normaly a good place but seemed like they were completely overwhelmed, on a day they should have been most perpared.
We were seated within minutes of walking in. Our reservation was intact and everything went smooth. We had 2 servers assisting all throughout the meal which was great. Our waiter made suggestions and recommendations so that was a bonus. I was there with my wife and son and at no time felt uncomfortable or it being somewhere I couldn't bring him to. The food was good, the Creme Brulee is out of this world delicious. We were in and out in just about 90mins with full tummy's and smiles on our face. We also received a coupons for $15 off our next $75 purchase. Very nice touch. Thanks guys, we will be back!
Had not tried this restaurant for years, but on a cold, cold night it was cozy and welcoming. I could converse with our tablemates, we weren’t rushed, and the meal (salad and fish) was very good.
Staff went above and beyond!
We had a reservation for 9:45 on a Saturday night via Open Table as we knew we would be late, and arrived a bit after 9 and seemed like we were going to be the last table of the night. The staff was friendly but couldn't hide that they were itching to leave. My daughter ordered rigatoni with tomato sauce and received spaghetti noodles instead which she was really disappointed about (not sure why that matters, but it does to her), but felt it was too late to ask them to bring her what she ordered. Halfway through our dinners, we asked for an order of chocolate lava cake and the answer was "maybe". We did get the cake in a timely manner and it was delicious as usual.
We will probably go back, but think they should be more prepared for a later table on Saturday night, especially when we booked the table in advance.
They took a reservation, but when I arrived they said they were closed. They could have called me to let me know they were closing early, but they did not.
We enjoyed our dinner in an area not too far from home. It was earlyish on a Sat night and not too busy yet. We were seated fast and served in a very timely manner. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Food was hot and good.
The service was the best out of the experience...at best the food was average
I ordered the Quattro stagioni pizza, which contains a fried egg. I ate less than half of the pizza, thinking I could box it as a leftover. I was informed that unfortunately I could not take it to go because it contained a fried egg, which would pose a health risk.
While I was initially disappointed that I had paid for a whole pizza and could not claim the leftover, the manager offered to make me a whole new pizza without the egg, on the house. I thought this was a show of very good customer service.
In retrospect, maybe the menu could have an asterisk by that item informing guests that it cannot be taken as a leftover. But overall, I was pleased with my experience and the show of good customer service.
