Went to Francesca’s with my parents after my graduation. We came at 8.15pm and the restaurant was fairly empty and we were greeted and seated fast. Service was slow but the food was nice.
The issues for me was that we could constantly head yelling and screaming from the kitchen and two men began construction whilst we were eating. Before we got to leave the restaurant the light were turned on like a night club at closing time. I was very disappointed with the experience
I went on a dinner date with the hopes to propose after dinner. i wanted the dinner to be beyond romantic however they were out of everything on the menu, we ordered two steaks and were told they only had one. I understand rushes but i tried to order 4 different things off the menu while being told they were out of stock.
My husband loves steak. He was extremely disappointed that the only such option on the menu was priced around $38.00. Most of the other entrees were around $18-19. He did not order the steak because of the price. Instead, he ordered a pasta dish, which he was disappointed in due to it not presented as it was described in the menu.
My dinner was great. However, my husband does not want to return because there is not a reasonably priced steak on your menu.
We took my wife for Mother’s day. The service was ok. The bus staff did a better job than the server. My wife an I both had Chilean Sea Bass. We both love this fish and it was on special. $36 for a small, over cooked, dry piece of fish? It had a mango sauce that appeared to try cover up what’s normally a quality fish. My son and daughter didn’t like their meals either. At the cost, we won’t be back.
Mother’s Day brunch was amazing! Wide variety of foods. Service was good!
great mother’s day brunch. delicious prime rib and desserts
When you make a reservation with Open Table you expect that the restaurant will get the message. This was not the case here so at first we were a little put off. However, the staff here was over the top accommodating. They seated our part of 6 in less than 2 minutes while they searched for a server to take on another table. They gave us Joann and by the end of dinner, I felt like she was a member of our family. She was informative, prompt, energetic (despite on the tail end of a double shift), and made great suggestions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners. For the first time in forever, we didn't have any left overs to take home. To be fair, the portion sizes weren't that large, but the flavor and texture of the meals were amazing and even my 90 year old Italian mother, finished every bit on her plate. If there is a drawback, its the cost. With cocktails and tip, we neared $300. I don't think I can drop that much money on a regular basis but at least I can say it was well worth it.
Waiter was great, "Rum & Pepsi" tasted like just Pepsi. Food great! Lobster a little underdone but next day we fixed perfectly. We had a wonderful time especially as time went on and the place became less crowded and the noise level decreased.
Great food as always with the Francesca’s family of restaurants. Really enjoyed the bruschetta with ricotta to start and the special capellaci stuffed pasta.
Francesca's always has great food and offer a good value for the money. If you like something and don't see it on the menu, the chef can try to prepare it for - that's a good chef! I'd highly recommend it to any one.
We love this restaurant. Always friendly staff and the food is fantastic. We have a picky eater and the waitperson informed us the Chef would cook to order. She choose her dish and loved it. When packing up the left overs, we asked if they could wrap up the remaining bread. The Chef provided an fresh loaf.
I do not know many restaurants who would do this. They are the best.
We thank you for making our dining experience so warm and friendly.
We enjoy the food at the Mia Francesca restaurant group and usually dine at LaSorrella. While the food was excellent we did notice a difference in the service level at Passaggio. Just getting a glass of water and the pre-meal bread seemed to take longer than necessary considering the servers were standing 6 feet away from us just talking among themselves. Dishes from our completed salads also lingered well after we were served our second course pasta. So excellent food and hopefully just an off night for the service.
Great lunch special offerings. Keep up the good work. Servers are always doing great.
We have been once before and it was not a good experience. This time it was excellent. They totally redeemed themselves. Food and service were top notch. Our server was Christina and she was excellent. We will definitely return.
I chose this restaurant to go to for my birthday as they had creme brûlée on the menu and the reviews were good.
To start with... the food was good. Not excellent, but good food and they gave you plenty.
With that said... we had a party of four and the table was small for that many people and the food/plates and glasses in the table. Th table was also crammed in right next to a door where servers and everyone else working there was constantly walking through. It was also right next to the computer where all the servers would go to for various reasons. Chairs were bumped into repeatedly, and just getting up to go to the bathroom I was almost crashed into by about six employees. I had to swerve out of their way and wait for along time for employees to pass by. We were also didn’t see our waitress a lot, but a ton of other people would stop by to do something.
I would not go again.
A shout out to the GM Marc LeRoux...........thank you for your hospitality! I'm excited to have Francesca's cater my next party and I can't wait for the patio to open, looking forward to the live entertainment! It's great to have a fun place to go in south Naperville so close to home!
Even though it was Easter Sunday, we were greeted very warmly by the manager. He was so welcoming and that started the meal off great. The servers were chatty and friendly, also. We ordered from the menu and the food was absolutely delicious. We certainly will be back.
Easter brunch was fantastic this year!! The food was amazing. The brunch set up was well thought out and very organized & the service was excellent!
Wonderful experience - great employee and management service. Some breakfast food was on the cold side. Can consider adding eggs to order to the brunch menu. Might be worth a couple extra dollars.... Great job- would absolutely go again.
Awesome! Great service, great food !
We celebrated my sister's birthday and dinner was delicious, as always.
Good food, slow service. We were stuck in a back room that was extremely crowded.
As noted in my reservation, we were out for a birthday. It was never acknowledged and then we got the check and it was too late. Disappointing for the service/atmosphere expected at a Francesca’s location. Or open table needs to better identify these types of requests within their site so restaurants know.
My favorite choice of restaurants in this area. Always delicious with great service! A great place to celebrate my anniversary.
We hadn’t been to this restaurant for a while, so we stopped for an early dinner. The food was “punch the table” good. Can’t wait to go back & do it again.
Yet another fine dining experience from start to finish. What I particularly like is that they periodically change their menu and yet manage to hit home run after home run with their new entrees. You can order anything on their menus and it will be creatively delicious.
Francesca's is a great place for dinner in SW Naperville. Menu is good, service is good, wine list is pretty good as well. We had a little issue with our table not being ready when we arrived with our OpenTable reservation. Not a big deal, but worth noting, the wait was about 10-15 minutes.
Once seated the server knew the menu, and made some great recommendations.
We will return :)
We have dined here for dinner many times and have always had good service and food is very good. Have been here recently for lunch and there were probably only four couples in the restaurant. Our service was extremely slow and had to ask for items a second time because they were not delivered. The meatball sandwich had way to much garlic and I love garlic. It was overflowed with sauce making the bread extremely soggy and unable to even pick up. The minestrone soup was very good. My friend said the pasta in her dish was not al dente and not cooked enough. You win some and you lose some and on this lunch we lost.
This place is ALWAYS consistently good- the menu at times seems a little dated but they do it all so well.
Drinks are generous, portions are fairly sized, not overly noisy and reasonably priced.
Half price bottles of wine in Wednesday add to the appeal.
Great dinner - great service - quiet and fun! We’ll be back soon!
Lovely place to celebrate a friend's birthday. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious.
Great night overall!
Very good Italian cuisine. Range of choices from pastas, chicken, beef, pork and seafood. Their fish dishes are very good. The food looks and tastes like it was prepared in mom’s kitchen, so don’t expect beautiful looking food. It’s great tasting food.
Always consistent great service and food . We love the friendly servers! Reasonable prices
Always a great place to dine. Fabulous appetizers and excellent entrees! Service impeccable!
Dining. Is always enjoyable and consistently good food. Service is friendly.
We had a very nice and tasty dinner. Service was very good.
The food and service was amazing! I can't wait to go back for more.
Excellent. It’s always a great place to meet.
