Pizza was not cooked, prosciutto was full of fat, Cesar salad was missing dressing... had to ask for water to be refilled and had to reorder a drink.
It was great, the food was amazing, fancy but cozy.
Wonderful dining experience-- the food was superb, the service was exceptional (waitress/bartender went above and beyond in catering to us), the ambience was romantic and inviting, the live-music from the jazz club next door was the cherry on top to the whole experience! Will and have already recommended this place to several people! Thank you for such a great evening!
Good atmosphere and friendly service. Food came very quickly which led me to think that the meal was ready cooked and just heated up. On the plus side it did taste very good.
Our waitress, Anastasia was very good, my daughter and I both enjoyed our dinners and the service before the Motown musical. Very convenient for a dinner before the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Excellent quality service. Great location close to downtown venues.
Loved it, I'll be back. The shrimp scampi was amazing and they were able to accommodate my allergy
Our service was a little rushed (e.g. appetizer came and meals were only 10 minutes after). We would have preferred to linger over our appetizer longer. Our pasta was excellent and a great recommendation from our server.
A bit disappointed. First time to this restaurant. We received water immediately but our drink order wasn’t taken for about 10 minutes. Another 10/15 later our drinks showed up (still no bread to the table) our food showed up two minutes later. Had to ask another two times for bread. Then another 4 minutes to get oil and vinegar. Was never provided cheese which i saw other tables were receiving immediately when the food arrived. I understand places get busy but i don’t think it warranted our service.
Service was a bit slower than it should be, but the food was very good.
Great food. Perfect before a concert at Rogers.
Ordered the calamari, meatballs, Cesar salad and Alfredo linguini and all were very very good!!!! Service was excellent
Well located for events at Queen Elizabeth Hall/Playhouse, this is a friendly dining establishment particularly conducive to larger groups dining together. The food is good, the service efficient and friendly and the ambience is relaxed without being noisy.
Good food and loud Friday night crowd. Fun and festive place if you like that atmosphere. Felt a bit rushed at first but we took our time.
Came here for Dine Out for the first time over the weekend. Was hoping for a quiet but casually classy dining experience with ritzy italian food and loved it here.
Great service from Tom in the Restaurant and the Jazz and Martini's were outstanding in the Bar.
we had a very nice dinner and the server was accommodating in ensuring that we had lots of time to get to the hockey game
Great, hearty food and friendly service.
Food was good but not memorable. It was a good spot for pre show dinner. Service was friendly and attentive.
This was our first time at Frankie’s Italian Kitchen. We came during Dine Out, and the food was great! Only 1 out of the 4 of us ordered from the Dine Out menu. We had the mussels and some of the pasta dishes, and it was all delicious. The seafood linguine is great for its price, since it comes with lobster, which you don’t normally get in other restaurants. The only complaint I have was our server. He was an elderly gentleman and was not the most attentive or friendly. It took some time for our dishes to be cleared after each course. It was quite busy, and it seemed like our server was the only one handling all the tables at the front of the house. There should have been more staff on shift, especially on a Saturday night and during Dine Out. Overall, the food was great, but service can be improved.
