This is my second time at this restaurant and it was great! The service was awesome, I had alot of questions on the menu and the waiter was very patient and helpful and explained everything. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, I will be back!

Las Brisas has an unbeatable view of the Laguna Beach coastline. It does a roaring business during the summer, but it is quieter in winter, and especially on New Year’s Day when we were last there. The food is very good, but not too adventurous Mexican. The service is excellent during the quiet winter months, and is still good during the summer. Our favorite dish is the whole grilled rock fish for two, from which you make your own tacos. But they usually run out of whole fish at some point during the dinner service, so be sure to order early if you want it. The only significant drawback is parking. Due to COVID they have converted their parking lot to outdoor seating, so you have to find parking on one of the nearby streets. You can’t visit Orange County beaches without having a drink and some guacamole at Las Brisas. Try it, you might stay for dinner.

Our experience was amazing! Everything they brought us was delicious! from the cheese bread, to the dessert! Amazing! We will be back!

To avoid the rainy weather and crowds, we decided to postpone our New year’s dinner till January 1st, and made late afternoon reservations. Half the restaurant was closed off when we arrived. The other half was full and there was a wait to be seated without reservations. Inside it was warm and cozy on a cold winter day. Had just enough time to get an excellent cocktail at the bar before being seated at our table. We enjoyed the spiny lobster, king crab legs, house spinach, mashed potatoes and plenty of sourdough bread. It was all perfectly prepared, not too salty, and delicious. Pricey but worth every cent. Service from the front of the house to the back was excellent. Not crazy about this restaurant’s location in the parking lot of a defunct shopping mall next to an In & Out so I wouldn’t recommend it for outdoor dining but inside was another universe. The decor was handsome, timeless and appropriately designed with the sea in mind. Clean too, especially in the bathrooms. Also, plenty of free parking just outside and it appears to be in a safe area.
