    The food is great but we were in and out in less than 40 minutes for dinner. It seems like a weird complaint, but we felt extremely rushed and did not have time to finish one course before the next was brought out. My husband and I bought a bottle of wine but only finished one glass before our meal was over and we had to hurry to finish it. It was not a relaxing date night and did not even have time to chat. The restaurant is quite loud, but something we can get over but cannot get over the bad ambiance. I expect a nice steak dinner to take time and be enjoyable, but other than the food being good, it wasn't an enjoyable night. We probably won't be back unless we learn they have slowed down and allow people time to eat and converse.

    As always the food and service were impeccable! We had a taste of everything from steak to crab to chicken and it was all delicious. The key lime pie was spectacular for a hot summer evening.

    Busy for Mother’s Day brunch. Waiter was attentive & personable. My wife’s filet was perfectly cooked. My cowboy ribeye was over salted. Thought it was only an isolated spot but it was the entire steak. May take a break from Gallagher’s and do more steak business elsewhere.

    Outstanding as always. Waiter Brett so good. Incredible soups. Black bean, turtle and gumbo. Pompano, bone in filet and quail as good as it’s gets. Wine and drinks special. Not to mention flourless chocolate cake, oogy-good cake and crème brûlée Yep it was much better than good.

    Set us on table by bar to noisy, couldn’t take our Gallagher gift card cause machine broke, both steaks arrive raw had to be sent back came back tough, fish dish was very fishey tasting and over cooked, one fish dish sent back to kitchen, replacement was just as bad. Worst dinner night out ever. Definitely not worth the price. Waiter apologized and sent two comp deserts and did not charge for one fish dish.

    The service, ambience and cuisine is always amazing at Gallagher's Covington. Our server, Taylor, was on top of timing and personable with our dinner party. Our steaks and seafood were fabulously flavored. The music was a little too loud, as we had to lean over to hear each other speaking. I love the tables dressed in linen and with space around them. Keep up the great work for our community and visitors.

    Gallagher's Grill never disappoints. I brought a business associate for lunch and it was her first time. Her and her husband will be driving from Baton Rouge to Covington instead of New Orleans for a weekend dining experience. She was that impressed. The crab cakes sold her!
