   Since this was Thanksgiving I felt that the service was lacking. The food was ok and we went out for my son's birthday. We waited over 20 minutes for our dessert, and before we got it the server brought us our check. She asked if we got dessert and we didn't and she offered it because it came with the meal. We ultimately declined because we had waited so long. Then we had to wait about 10 minutes just to pay. I would never go here again.

   We did Thanksgiving here as we have in the past. We will not be back. It’s not a buffet due to Covid, which we knew but still no excuse for a dinner that cost $280 for 5 people! They were extremely short staffed with only two waitresses. We went ahead of dinner rush at 4:30. It didn’t help! We ordered, they forgot our soup and brought dinner. We asked about the soup after a long wait to get a waitress. It came after we had the dinner. The dinner was cold. We were afraid to ask to heat it up as it’s never a good thing to send food back and we didn’t know when we would get it back. Refills on drinks were non existent as the poor waitresses were too busy to get their attention. The desserts were awful. Just a mix of desserts thrown in a plate, cold, hard, mini pies, stale brownies. We were not only celebrating Thanksgiving but our 20th anniversary vow renewal. I wish I had chosen a better restaurant. Such a shame as it was one of our favorites in the past and the nostalgia of it for our family was great but for no discounts of any kind and it being horrible we won’t return. We did say food was cold and the wait for things was more than obvious to the way staff yet no kind of discount or any compensation was offered. Such a shame.

   Food was extremely salty, to the point it was hurting my lips (chowder clam soup, chicken soup and the pasta). Our Server Carlos was great, tho and the deserts were very good.

   Great character interaction and a great value compared to Disney character meals - but not many gf choices esp for kids - they were wonderful and got my granddaughter an entree from another restaurant in the Swan hotel - prime rib was huge portion —wish we could have shared - much too big would rather it be cheaper and serve smaller piece - and 25 for kids meal is a lot - Grilled cheese and fries -they didn’t eat salad bar and desert bar nor soup - still Much better value than a Disney character breakfast or dinner - so would try again but order a different entree.

   We have been to the Garden Grove restaurant at Disney’s Swan, for the past 4 years, for New Years Eve dinner. The food is always very good with plenty of choices. We go back not only for the food, but also the service. Our waiter, Oscar has waited on us for the past 4 years and he is the best. Thank you Oscar and Garden Grove for a great dinner!    Awful experience. We had a reservation and were seated half an hour late. Hard to believe since the restaurant was almost empty. This restaurant is way overpriced and unfortunately the food is terrible. I can't help but feel they are taking advantage of families visiting Disney and have little choice for dinner options. I will never visit this restaurant or the Dolphin/Swan resort in the future.

    It's the old - "You get what you pay for!" Soups were good. Sides selection was limited with mostly salads w/mayo. I would have liked a better selection of fresh vegetables and rice. Fish was excellent. Dessert selection was very nice.

    Very personal experience with the characters. My daughter loved it. Not too crowded. Clean, and quick. A little expensive, especially when you're paying for a family of four. We had the Buffett style. I'm comparison to golden coral, maybe not as much food options. But still good find in Disney.

    Loved the set up and service at this restaurant. The food was good, but would have been nice to have a few more options on the seafood buffet that had more descriptions. Some offerings were different tasting than expected.

    Easy way to see a couple of characters at dinner. Huge portions for your entree, plus salad, soup and dessert buffet make this an easy crowd pleaser. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired: colors look pretty dated, but if you lower your expectations and expect some satisfying food and costumed character interactions, it works well.

    Today we dined at the Garden Grove and had such incredible service I almost cried with joy and gratitude. Our little tot had been sick and not really eating since Thursday (1/2 way through our flight). We told the lovely Steven (who was helping Pluto) and he heard our son ask for a hot dog bun. He quickly vanished determined to help us get him to eat. The just as wonderful Carlos was taking care of us and as our son was finishing the first bun returned with another determined as well to help get him to eat anything. He even went to the nextdoor restaurant to get some white rice (he ate a little of) since he was eating so blandly. Those two gentleman made our day and because of them I was the happiest and most relaxed I've been since we landed Thursday. Thank you again from the bottoms of our heart for the care you showed our kiddo tonight.

    My son wanted to eat with Pluto so we did the character dining at dinner. Pluto and Chip and Dale spent so much time with him and made it a really special night. The food and service was great, too!

    It was Seafood Buffet Night at the Garden Grove. The quality and creativity of the offerings was on par with a Disney cruise. I loved everything. The baked salmon on a bed of pearl couscous was delicious. The lemon pepper chicken was very flavorful. There was prime rib too. The desserts looked too good to eat. The most interesting was a warm banana bread pudding in a sealed tiny mason jar. My waiter Carlos was outstanding. There are also Disney characters.

    Salad bar was empty and looked picked over and not serviced. Soup choices limited. Bread was not fresh and display was empty. The flavored butter On the display appeared to be rancid and there were kids touching the food throughout the buffet area with their hands and no staff members removed or took correct of action with this unsafe sanitation situation.

    We had an early dinner with my family and a close friend here. We enjoyed the ambiance, the dessert and soup buffet and the Disney character’s presence. My 6 year old pretty much had Goofy and Pluto all by himself coz at that time there were mostly adult diners. We all loved how our waiter accommodated our requests and of the prompt service.
