Guests are encouraged to order from a five, seven, or ten course tasting menu in order to fully explore the bold flavours and textures of Chef Loseto’s cooking. Wine pairings carefully selected by the sommelier team are a wonderful addition to the tasting experience. The wine program is focused on quality, sustainability and terroir. Wines are sourced from small suppliers with a focus on unique appellations and varietals. At the table, one of our five sommeliers will ensure selections are perfectly paired with the unique cuisine.

I recently dined at George Restaurant and overall had a pleasant experience. The service was fantastic and the food was presented beautifully on each plate. My husband and I had the 10 course tasting menu and as I mentioned looked stunning but lacked flavour, however, the quality of the food was also impeccable. In terms of the environment of the restaurant we found that the tables were to close together as to allow wait staff to almost knock items over when passing through and the music to loud for conversation in which patrons had to speak loudly allowing for others to hear their conversations easily. It did not give a very intimate feeling.
All four of us had the tasting menus. The food was fantastic and it was fun to be pleasantly surprised by the content of each dish!!
Amazing experience. Justin was an amazing server and the food was incredible.
Superb location with an unbelievable tasting menu. Just the place for that special meal with someone special!
The service was excellent as usual with outstanding food with surprising taste and texture. The noise level was a bit higher as it was full house during Valentines Day celebration but acceptable.
My wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience of dining at George. We were extremely comfortable in our booth. We decided to order the 4 course tasting option therefore we could share all 8 courses. I highly recommend going with the Tasting Options off the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service was top notch and the ambience was perfect!
George restaurant is on my top list. Their food is delicious and service is excellent.
Would highly recommend. Had the 5 course tasting menu. We were each given something different, so tried 10 different dishes. Great presentation and fabulous flavors.
Went for the 5 course meal and it is filling.
Table across was very load but overall very good. Bench seats very uncomfortable, if your tall use the chairs.
Excellent food in pleasant surroundings. 5-course tasting menu with the wine option. Sommelier was great in her presentation of the wines, which were somewhat off the beaten path but very good. A pricey experience, but largely due to the wine add-on.
Little hard to find the right door to the restaurant. Signs are small but it is worth looking for
It’s a clean well laid out place with great service. We were late because of traffic but they got us seated, fed and out in time for the show we were going to to
Our waiter was knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. He made sure we got to complete our 5-course meal before we left but it was right
They have a small Ala Carte menu but they seem to specialize in the chef’s (blind) tasting menu. You learn what you are eating when it arrives at your table. We love tasting menus so this was no problem but I found the price for the menu quite a bit higher than the last few tasting menus we tried, in other restaurants and they were excellent
Food is pricy but well worth it. Great atmosphere.
The perfect restaurants. Delicious food and great European atmosphere. Best dinner ever. The 10 courses tasting menu is a must and a life changing experience. Only negative the impolite front door hostess, when I called for parking info and when I arrived. All the other staff was absolutely perfect and our waiter amazing.
Great dining experience. We had a seven course with wine pairing (and decided to add an eighth course). The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful as well as all the other waiting staff.
In my line of work I end up building relationships with a great deal of high end restaurants in Manhattan like Le Bernardin and EMP. However, George Restaurant is the first time I ever experienced a fine dining chef’s tasting menu. My boyfriend and I both got the 10 course for our anniversary. This was the greatest experience with food I have ever had, each dish introduced me to an entirely new world of flavour. Each was planted nicely and presented with a high degree of understanding. The wine list was at a premium price point but had a large and unique selection. We were served by Lucas who did an amazing job introducing us to a more classic fine dining experience and was genuinely a great guy. I would recommend to anyone who enjoy cooking and how food is prepared to sit at table 21 which has a full view of the kitchen with a large mirror with an angle of the food playing counter. The restaurant is a little older than more popular choices like canoe but it’s experience and one of a kind head chef really displays that it’s a cut above. I would say it’s a casual elegant restaurant so don’t worry about a jackets mandatory experience.
Good but not great. It's competitors are more appealing.
Fantastic restaurant. Quality food with great service at fair prices. The 7 course tasting was 21 different dishes for our group of 3 with a perfect wine pairing.
Food was very tasty. For a 5 course meal, the portions were much to big. The description was a tasting menu, but the second course was a full sized entree and the third course was an even bigger entre. My partner and I were full after the second dish, which was too bad because I'm sure I would have loved the rest so much more if I didn't feel sick. The cheese plate was one type of cheese, which I found very uninspired. Out server was attentive but not overbearing and our cocktails were delicious.
We were not celebrating any special occasion and looked for a restaurant near our hotel online. We used the app Open Table to get to know the restaurant and we liked what we read and saw. Then, we experienced the entire dinner (7 course tasting with wine pairing) and it was fabulous. We both had different servings and we both thought that everything was wonderful, tasty and well paired. The Sommelier spent quite a bit of time explaining the wines and why he chose them. The pace of service was perfect for us. We did not feel rushed. The decor was very nice. The lighting not too bright and not too low. It was one of our best experiences. Thank you.
Great way to celebrate my birthday. Loved the tasting menu perfectly paired with fine wines.
Very good food and atmosphere. Waiters are very friendly and prompt. Overall experience was wonderful!
Food was fantastic. Server failed to explain the tasting menu until we’d been sitting there for at least 30 minutes. I was supposed to get a lactose free meal, but two courses came with cheese and no indication from the server that they were lactose free cheeses, which makes me wonder a bit how careful they’re being with other dietary concerns.
George restaurant encompasses modern day French cuisine at it's finest. The executive chef and the whole George team offer a gastronomic fantasy with each and every bite. Thank you for a truly memorable tasting menu!
Yes! I definitely would recommend for all special occasions. My hubby & I come here for all our bdays & anniversaries. We always do the tasting menu and love every creative bite! It can get quite pricey, but worth every taste & penny. We like to try differ types of restaurants, but George us definitely in our top 2.
Came here for a business lunch for the first time and everything was fantastic. I had the black truffle spaghettini with peppercorn butter; you can tell everything was made fresh from the pasta to the sauce. Their gelato was also delicious -- made fresh to order. I would highly recommend this place and I can't wait to come back.
Although a bit expensive, the Tasting Menu options (with wine pairing) are truly excellent and worth the "investment". Excellent experience!!!
As always well done. The noise level was a bit high but that was due to a young couple with two minors at a table near by. Lol. Again just a fine dining experience as always.
Amazing tasting menu! My friend had the vegetarian tasting menu and she was blown away! Loved every bit of the meal and service was outstanding! I have been here multiple times and every meal has been outstanding!
The food was very good, very fresh and innovative. The staff service was outstanding and their willingness to be accommodating with the menu. Our server even hailed a cab for us in the freezing cold!
Great vegetarian menu but a little bland.
One of our servers was super awesome. She was middle aged white woman. One of the guys was a bit clueless, always coming in at the wrong moment.
Kinda expensive, but AMAZING food. Great for special occasions
Lovely meal, very good tasting menu. First time that I had foie gras and it was amazing.
I am a high school teacher and 2 former students now work here so it was great to see them. Great work Frederico and Alberto!
My wife and I dined at George on New Years Eve, and enjoyed the delicious tasting menu. We tried a bit of everything, so the overall experience was excellent. The food is amazing, with impeccable plating and varied flavours. Would recommend!
Superb meal for NYE, all the dishes were delicious and well presented and they were able to accomdate our various restrictions. We booked for a later seating for 8 people to bring in the new year. We were expecting a more livelier vibe and midnight bubbly to bring in the new year but we told it’s not part of the set menu. No worries we ordered our own after midnight.
Perfect place for a nice quiet meal before midnight and head elsewhere to celebrate the new year.
We came in for the NYE tasting menu - and to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was absolutely top shelf, from the food to the wine to the service. Will highly recommend!
It was New Years so it wasn’t a typical night
Very busy but nevertheless still very enjoyable
At times rushed but again under the circumstances I’m sure there were people waiting for our table
Great service but found there was some palpable tension to serve quickly
Definitely will return wine pairing was spot on
Top marks for the tasting menu on NYE and while I think your wait staff are courteous and helpful when prompted I'm giving my overall rating a 3-3 1/2 star and honestly because George restaurant is considered 5 star dining.
I thought each dish coming out of the kitchen was beautiful to look at but more importantly delicious. What I had issue with was the pacing of my meal. I know it was NYE but it really felt as if I was being rushed. I barely had time to savour a dish before the next one was plunked in front of me. And then those little things like not asking about whether or not I'd want a coffee or tea with my dessert or not double checking the bill before giving to the patron. It was only a couple of dollars which is probably why I didn't notice until I looked at my bill closer when I got home but originally my server suggested the 2014 Villa A Sesta, Il Palei, Chianti Classico but I changed it to the 2016 Baudet, Rive Droite, Grenache, Côtes du Rhône after I had a taste test. However the chianti was what was charged. Just want your servers to be mindful.
But I've given 4 stars for service because of the fact that, upon realizing I had to wait for my transportation an extra hour, the staff let me stay at my table to wait for my wheeltrans. Not only that but gave me a complimentary glass of ice wine while I waited. And while I should feel silly balking about a two dollar difference in the red wine I was charged as I said above it's more for the waitstaff to make sure the diner is being charged what they asked to eat and/or drink.
I would recommend George for foodies, business and groups. I will also say for couples as well only if you don't mind the "energetic" noise level. I myself like it a bit quieter for romantic, intimate conversations.
George never disappoints in terms of dining experience. Service levels are exceptional. A very impressive wine list as well. The food and presentation is outstanding, however the quantity is quite small.
The five course meal was most enjoyable, and the service was excellent.
