    We frequent George whenever we travel to Toronto (2 or 3times a year) and never tire of it. The chef’s creations are worthy of at least a Michelin star. Wonderful magical experience each and every time. Our waiter Robert ensures our time is enjoyable from start to finish. The knowledgeable sommelier provides a depth to our wine pairings. Our family has celebrated many happy occasions here and they all have fond memories of George.

    We went for a birthday and we had a wonderful time. The tasting courses were beautiful and unique, the sommelier was absolutely wonderful; chose great options and explained each choice with great detail. Waitress and servers filled with information and very personable and friendly. We are from out of province, but would highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

    We tried 7-Course Chef’s Taste Menu and we liked the taste of each course which was prepared very well with delicious ingredients. We will definitely go to George again soon.

    We don't dine out very much, but keep coming back to George for the tasting menu as it has always been a great experience and continues to be so for us . Minor quibbles about the service make for not quite 5 stars in that regard, but I have very high (perfectionist) expectations given the meal cost and ergo considerable tip. Highly recommended.

    Poor food experience given this is a Michelin recommended restaurant. This was our third time at George and unfortunately the tasting menu and the wine parings have gotten progressively worse over the past few years. Great service however. We will not be going back.

    I highly recommend George restaurant. I was delighted with the 10 course tasting menu. Everything was balanced and tasted amazing. The original and inventive dishes were some of the best I have had for a tasting menu and is a MUST try if in Toronto!

    One of our favourite restaurants when we go to Toronto. It’s a bit off the beaten path on Queen East but is as good as Canoe etc. Great ambience and service. I highly recommend it.

    Be prepared to be to be surprised with a delicious award winning chef’s tasting menu. The open front kitchen was an orchestra of chefs at work and above a reflective mirror viewing of plating. Every plate was a masterpiece of culinary fusion.

    My wife and I visited on Nov. 25th, 2023 for our wedding anniversary and splurged on the 7 course tasting menu with the accompanying wine pairings. When you're paying $600+ for a dinner for 2 people, I think most of us hope to have a dining experience that is memorable, and this simply wasn't the case. I don't think we would return at half the price we paid. The food wasn't bad - it was simply not worth the price we paid, and did not live up to the reputation the restaurant has. I'm left with the feeling that many patrons who offer rave reviews simply haven't dined at world-class restaurants that do deserve their reputation. Key issues for us included: -Wine pairings/sommelier. The wines were lovely. They unfortunately often appeared 10-15 minutes before the course they were meant to accompany. It's really difficult to not chat and sip your wine, which meant our wine was often gone by the time the courses came out. On one occasion the wine never appeared for our course and our waiter had to apologize profusely. The sommelier was also very awkward and really did not enhance our dining experience. I would have preferred they just pour the wine and walk away. -Food temperature. Several courses were a mix of cool, room temperature, and warm ingredients, which felt unintentional - like had the hot ingredients cooled too much, or the cold ingredients not come to room temperature. It was very odd. -No "wow" factor. My wife and I had 14 unique dishes between us. Not a single one was memorable. For what we paid I would have expected a few examples of something really special, unique or interesting. If you have enough money that spending $350/person on a dinner doesn't make you raise your eyebrows, I'm sure you'll have a pleasant enough meal. For the rest of us, I'm not sure I can justify a recommendation or a return visit.

    The food was incredible! Did the 7 course tasting. There were 6 of us and 3 different dishes came to the table per course. So much to try and enjoy! I highly recommend George Restaurant! Kimberly was our server, Patrick the sommelier, both were fantastic! Thanks for a great evening!

    Wonderful and creative dinner with exceptional service at our go to restaurant. Normally we have a tasting menu but we had theatre plans so did a smaller a la carte meal which was great. Everyone accommodated our time needs and we had plenty of extra time without being rushed.

    Only issue for such a high end restaurant, you really think they should be charging $5 for a very small basket of bread? Then taking that away without even asking if you wish to take the remainder home with you?

    Compliments to the whole team, front of the house and back of house for making this place into a magical destination! Kimberly was very attentive and helpful on my choices. It’s hard to hight my favourite dish but I can’t say enough about the duck breast and foil gras on lentils. All the flavours came together! The coconut martini was a surprising palate, perfect opening. Sommelier Patrick made the combination of my dessert wine pair so well with pistachio gelato. Chef Lorenzo showed up and I got a moment for a memorable picture shot! Coming back in the near future!

    Never disappointed going to George, this time we decided to do the full à la cart and share each dish! Each course was outstanding! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We also had our wedding reception at George 4 years ago. The service by Enzo was outstanding, from the anniversary card and congratulations by all made us feel special. Thank you for making our day so special. See you soon!

    Amazing spot with some impressive dishes. We were a group of 6 people and did the 5 course tasting menu. For each course they actually came out with 3 different dishes, so we were able to taste everything. The food was extremely delicious, the service was fantastic and the price was quite reasonable. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

    Great place. We went for the 5 course tasting menu. Most dishes were awesome and well presented. Some didn’t make the cut. Unless you are super hungry, that was a little too much food, but well worth the price tag.

    Amazing tasting menu. The portions were generous for tasting plate so you get your money worth. It can be slightly smaller, I was getting full when eating main course. But overall the dishes were creative and delicious. Our waiter was attentive when need be and not hovering over you. Just a slight delay between certain course if I have to be honest.

    I think I’m just not cut out for that type of cuisine. No offense to this place, literally everyone else appeared to be enjoying their meals immensely. Glad I was able to go and experience it :) Very haute cuisine, no other menu options.

    Delightful experience. We had the 7 house tasting menu. Interestingly, there was no "menu"; the courses appeared at the whim of the chef. My wife and I had different offerings for each course which was very unusual. Every plate was exquisite. If local wine is chosen then this is reasonably priced (and was delicious)
