Hard to beat this place. Do yourself a favor and try the French Onion soup. I don’t ever order it anywhere else, but I wouldn’t think of dining at GC and not having it.

The BEST service at a restaurant we have received in 5 years! Wow! The host was so personable and attentive and remembered that we made a special request for quiet seating. The waitress was delightful and helpful. The foot was delivered quickly to our table and it was a terrific brunch! Even other waitstaff came up and said hello. And, as we were leaving the bartender made a special effort to catch our eyes and say goodby. Go for the service and stay for the yummy food!

I had gone here once before and enjoyed it a lot. I made a res for my husband, my sister and her husband, and me. We all ordered some type of egg Benedict. 3 out of 4 eggs were basically hard boiled and we had to send them back. After that they brought out extra sides for us to eat while we waited and brought back the newly cooked Benedicts, and they were were close to cooked right. The food was good! I don’t know if I’d go back though, as the prices, for me personally, weren’t worth it. Service was impeccable!

Each time I’ve been there I’ve tried something new and haven’t been disappointed at all! Best service in Nashville, excellent food, the friendliest staff, chefs are amazing, and they, hands down, have THE BEST Sous Chef (Harley) in the state of Tennessee!

Unfortunately the poached egg was over cooked, the eggs Benedict had no meat in it and service was a struggle. We did get a new poached egg, but have read others state they had similar problems.

What a great experience celebrating my son's birthday. We all tried different entres ( Veggie bowl, Plum Pork, Rigatoni, Baked Mac Stack) and they were all excellent. The Apple Pie A La Mode was our favorite dessert. Great services, well paced!

Excellent service and food. We ( party of 2) were seated between 2 tables of 5 each. The tables were too close together. We could hear the entire conversations. Will ask to be seated elsewhere next time. That's the only complaint I had.

We had a great evening at Germantown Cafe. We started with the Duo appetizer of Edamame Guacamole and Pimiento Cheese. Then had the amazing French Onion Soup. My friends had the Salmon and Tuna entrees which they loved. I unfortunately chose the Crab Cakes which were subpar. I was so disappointed. No lump crab and very soft and flat like a pancake. The service was excellent and the whole vibe was wonderful. We will definitely be back. Just don't order the Crab Cakes.

Sunday brunch was a zoo. It was very loud and very crowded. Our server practically ignored us. I had to ask twice for a coffee refill; she filled the cup too high, knowing that I has asked for cream, resulting in a spill. My eggs arrived cold. She did not make eye contact throughout our visit. I will not be back for brunch. This experience couldn't have been more different than the weeknight dinner experience.

Found this place on google when looking for a brunch spot in or around Nashville (traveling home to Wisconsin from Chattanooga). Food was really good - we ordered the biscuits and gravy and the shrimp and grits. Energy/vibe was great. Server was friendly but not super attentive. Would definitely go back and will definitely recommend. Happy we stopped!

The restaurant overall is Wonderful. The only thing that would be more desirable is it wasn’t SO LOUD . I realize it was Sunday Brunch time and was packed which of course is great for business but unpleasant when trying to have a normal conversation. thanks for opportunity to provide feedback , food was Great !
