Very nice experience!
We waited too long for the overpriced food. I had to search for the waiter to get the check.
Nice outdoor seating under umbrella. Wait staff was prompt and courteous. Grilled cauliflower appetizer was excellent. Fish dip was good, but small. Our friends had the one half roasted chicken and it was very good. Salmon was very good, although not a large portion. Live music was nice and not too loud.
The food and service were very mediocre yet expensive for what we received. Very disappointed.
We were a party of 6 then we have to sit in the side of the building in table benches, The table was next to the kitchen , it was sticky and the benches Area was dirty and smelly! The food was okay, the salad was not fresh. Very pricey for the experience and food ! . The atmosphere is good in general, however I wouldn’t come back. Very disappointed! . The restaurant shouldn’t have sat us in the back of the kitchen area ! Really bad !!!
A beautiful outdoor dinning venue adjacent Peacock Park in Coconut Grove, this restaurant serves tasty grilled food.
Food was great. Service was good. Took a long time in between visits to our table. Prompted us to ask the manger for new silverware as ours was dirty. Otherwise great experience. Would def recommend.
Amazing way to celebrate with kids. Parents can sit and eat in peace while kids play on the adjacent playground!
The experience at Glass and Vine is delightful from start to finish. Situated in a lovely park, this outdoor dining restaurant is peaceful and beautiful. Drinks and food are outstanding and healthful. Don't miss the grilled cauliflower appetizer -- one order is plenty for 4 people. The glazed salmon on a bed of seasoned vegetables was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our server went above and beyond, including taking photos of our party. Reservations recommended.
TjebCaesar salad was delicious. The restaurant makes a fantastic chocolate cake - enough for three people. We all enjoy the meal and the atmosphere.
Party of three and there was an issue with each person's order. Very disappointing.
The food was good once it arrived, but the service was really terrible. We were seated for MORE than 20 mins and no one came even get us water. I had to ask someone to come over and then sent a bus boy who gave us water but it took another 10 mins for a waiter to actually come over. They messed up my kids’ order.
Unfortunately food has gotten so bad here, understand everyone is short staffed but it’s really gone down hill.
Memorial Day weekend holiday
Great food and staff.
Everything was delicious, highly recommend the croquettes!!
Food was good, waiter was very good. The issue that keeps recurring is the swarms of flies. It's not the restaurant's fault they are around as that's the risk taken if you eat outdoors. However, they should install some type of repellent or traps in the trees to at least alleviate the severity and lessen the unpleasantness of having to wave them away from your plate of food.
Difficult to find. Phone number goes to corporate office & no one answers. Restaurant is located in a park & a van was parked in front of the sign. Only address posted is after you get into the restaurant. We walked around for about 20 minutes until we found it inside the park. Should have been in the listing. Food is fresh, portions ample. I had gnocchi & chicken in truffle cream sauce. Flavor was good, but there was more sauce than chicken or gnocchi. Water glasses too small for dining out in the Florida heat. No ice provided after 1st serving. Restrooms shared with park & not very clean or well maintained even during COVID.
Service was very slow and our food took a long time! We ordered a shrimp cocktail and it took over 40 mins to get to the table. The chicken sandwich was also very dry and had no flavor
The outdoor setting was nice and the fact that it is kid friendly was a plus. We went for the brunch, the food was not good at all. I’m no chef and I make better fried eggs. The waffles tasted stale. The tables were sticky and I wiped the menus with antibacterial wipes I carry and my wipe was black. The bathrooms were disgusting. Definitely overpriced for what it was. Wouldn’t go back.
Nothing special, wouldn't recommend just because across my hotel wanted to have breakfast
Super chill ambiance. I love that they have live music and the scenery is specially nice for a date.
Food was just not good.
Past was too heavy on the sauce, Cobb salad was just too plain, steak friite was also mediocre.
Outdoor ambience is great. It’s too bad the food is just not there.
The first time I went to Glass and Vine, shortly after it opened, I was impressed with how innovative the menu was and everything was delicious.
Last night I was disappointed. My husband and I split an appetizer and what was to be a 16 oz pork chop. We told the server we were spitting both but neither was served that way. We were left to try to saw the pork chop between the bones. It wasn’t easy as it was covered in sauce and quite tough. I’d even challenge the idea it was 16 oz.
It was a far cry from the restaurant I had first experienced.
My first impression was very disappointing with the front staff or concierge was almost rude and non apologetic. Upon arriving with reservations the hostess took us to a table in the courtyard that I had asked for but in the full sun. When I asked if we could be seated someplace in a bit shadier area her response was I can sit you inside but this is what I have. Clearly there were other tables in the courtyard but she was having none of it. She stated she could not control the sun and this was the courtyard so “ it was not her fault that I picked outside. I almost walked out but this was a birthday celebration and I wanted it to work. The waiter, Mateo, saved the evening. He was attentive, concerned, went out of his way to please his guests and didn’t even know what had happened earlier. If it weren’t for his amazing service I would have given this place a 2 out of ten. The ambience is amazing, the cocktails super yummy. The food was good but a bit overpriced. The porkchop was a bit over cooked and the lemon butter noodles super spicy. The grilled mahi-mahi mahi was on point. Would I go back? Maybe for brunch on not a sunny Sunday and only if Mateo was working.
Food and environment was good as always. Unfortunately the service needs to improve.
Place was dirty. We couldn’t eat our meals because there was an army of large house flies on and around our food. The most discussing experience ever. Our food was brought out with flues on it. It was unreal. I thought we were being punked. We paid the bill and ran out of there. Oh and we ordered wine and did get what we ordered ...twice. Lol.
Amazing outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine, music and the staff was wonderful!
Outdoor garden, twinkle-light ambience, and amazing jazz paired with delicious food. The only reason for 4 stars is because they were severely short-staffed.
Restroom is public and park patrons walk past you to access while you are eating
great place to eat for outdoor dining. They have Monday half of bottle of wine which was good.
This was another outstanding meal at Glass & Vine! My wife and I began with he delicious Croquettes, followed by the equally delicious Lobster Cakes. After that, we shared the wonderful Brick Roasted Half Chicken for our main course. The service by Alejandro was, once again, outstanding. However, the highlight of the evening was the visit to our table by the fantastic Chef Javier.
Overall our experience was good. The only disappointment was having a group of loud women seated so close to us that we could hear their conversation as though we were at the same table. The ONLY advantage of dining out during this pandemic is the distancing & to seat a large group only 2 feet away from a couple enjoying an intimate dinner kind of ruined our desire to stay & have another bottle of wine. There were so many other available tables further away.
I really love the food and the drink/wine list. But the bathrooms are not what I would expect from Glass&Vine, neither the music. It does not make sense to me, the music I hear being in the Glass&Vine ambience. I would recommend instrumental music, chill out, relaxing, whatever, but instrumental... not Sugar Ray, Spice Girls, etc.
Besides, women’s bathroom was out of order/service, and the men’s was dirty.
The food is average for the price. We ordered a deep fried snapper, that number 1 food for my husband he said it was “ok” and not as crispy as he would’ve liked, we also ordered a shrimp salad it wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. My daughters ordered gnocchi and it was tasty but we ordered a butter garlic pasta from the kids menu and it was so bland. I get it it’s the “ kids menu” but c’mon. The restaurant is pretty tho the outdoor view is very relaxing and the weather was amazing so we enjoy It. I expected more. I guess Don’t know if I will go back. The service was good.
Delicious brunch menu! The service was spectacular
The patio dining is lovely and we were fortunate to enjoy low-humidity weather. We had reservations on Sunday at noon, and there were a lot of large groups around us (6-8) celebrating various events. So if that’s your thing, this is a great spot. The server was friendly and informative but he was busy and we needed to wait/wave arms for needs. That’s not on him, but docking a star to encourage better planning by management. I must also warn our visit took about 3 hours- there was a lull between each course. They have a full bar, extensive wine list, and my Aperol spritz(es) were strong. We ordered the croquettes as appetizers and they were solid. I enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich (huge) and truffle fries. We also shared a magic shell ice cream and that was yummy. Unfortunately, I gotta drop a star for food as my partner’s fried chicken was undercooked. They were responsive and brought out a second one- except it was double charged in our bill.
It was a lovely a lovely atmosphere. The food was good, service was spotty, but then the manager made up for it.
The place is beautiful to eat outside for families or in a romantic setting. We went to eat breakfast as a family. The menu for breakfast I founded limited not much to pick from. The food was ok, but they took a while just making egg, bacon and toast. The service was ok the serve was polite and nice. My only complaint is how long the kitchen took to bring the food out. I also ask to speak to the manager and he never showed up.
