Exceptional Service. Special thanks to Alina
I really like restaurant; beautiful setting and great kitchen views.
Our starter satay platter was excellent. I ordered the pappardelle and it was exquisite, and my fiancé’s meatballs were also incredible.
Jordan was very polite and kind we had a good time
Service was awesome and the food was delicious. Never had such a delicious creme brûlée ever. Great experience!
It took over 15min before I can get the attention of our server to get our bill. The happy-hour price seems a bit high for their small portions but glad to see that they have a oysters like the closed-down fish shack. The patio was cold.
The service was average and our waiter seemed to be a better overwhelmed despite the fact that the restaurant was not that busy when we arrived. The happy hour drinks menu was average and not too creative. The drinks themselves were ok. There are better places for get together with friends in this city.
Two women - birthday dinner - shared plates - everything nicely presented and tasty. Our server “ Alvin” was very pleasant and interested in ensuring we were enjoying everything. We were seated upstairs against the glass looking down on the kitchen and bar - interesting. Would definitely return.
Lovely restaurant with attentive service! A great place to meet for dining, or as we did, for cocktail hour late in the afternoon.
The restaurant was busy and vibrant for a Sunday night.
The service, the food, the ambience, everything was excellent!
The drink, food, and desserts are all amazing! Especially look for their daily meat board. It’s pricy but you will have a great experience!
Food was overcooked, barley any service.
Did not honor my VIP card when it clearly states that its partnered up with dilarwi group.
Went here for happy hour before a concert at Rodgers. The restaurant was not very busy but service was very slow - it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. Considering the service staff knew we were in a rush to get to the concert, we were surprised at how slow everything was, which was not helped by a mix up in our order (of 3). The happy hour menu is limited, and some options are only $1 cheaper than the regular menu. Overall there are better happy hours available nearby.
Great service , quiet atmosphere , enjoyable meal .
Brunch was a good deal but the quality was not great. We did the $10 bennies and they used deli ham instead of back bacon mentioned on the menu. Also one of my English muffin halves was not toasted and was cold and stale. However, complimentary mini donuts as we were seated was a nice touch. But I’d rather they put the effort into making the main meal better.
They have the BEST French toast. We will definitely be back for more Sunday brunches!
Amazing server, great food, even better mimosas. Best brunch value in downtown hands down
The food was ok but not amazing, the calamaris dipping sauce was a tiny portion, and the taste by itself was plain. The langosta on the paella was sadly over cooked. The service was good.
The food is good, not outstanding. The feel of the restaurant is initially upscale but as you sit down you start to see all the ways they cut corners to create this illusion. The big issue is that it contradicts itself. When we asked for a straw for an overpriced mock tail served in a tall skinny glass with large ice cubes making it difficult to sip - the server responded they did not have straws due to the environment. Fair enough, happy to support these environmental initiatives. We were not offered a substitute, a long spoon, a better glass, less ice or perhaps the restaurant could make use of the many stainless steel straw options on the market or the biodegradable ones. This environmental excuse is confusing when all the tables are draped with a white linen table cloth (requiring washing) and a piece of paper! Paper table cloths that you throw away. We should have been given crayons to draw on the table. A more cost effective, environmentally friendly and classier option would be to place nothing on the tables and wipe them between sittings. Glowbal needs to figure out if it’s upscale or if it’s a Montanas.
Our evening got off on the right start by meeting up at Glowbal for dinner.
Our server, Devon, was helpful explaining the menu and the features, recommending drinks.
We were an intergenerational group and we all felt comfortable together and part of that was the server's interpersonal skills.
The food was great. Simply explained, yet complex and great preparation.
We were on a time schedule, and the staff were sensitive to that, which was appreciated.
Looking forward to next time. Thank you all, for a lovely evening.
Our server was so nice and friendly to us.
I did not like it that they switched servers without telling us.
Unimpressed with this reservation. I had reserved a table for two in the patio, when we arrived, there was no reservations set aside, so we waited a few minutes while another server cleared the table. As a different hostess was trying to seat us, another hostess seated walk in guests at our table that was just cleared. Our hostess did not vocalize, so I had to. Hostess B was quite rude and responded with "oh don't worry we will find you another seat" so we had to wait again until someone was around to clear another table. I was not impressed by the non-chalantness of Hostess B - not apologetic at all. And our Hostess A did not vocalize, nor do anything to speed up the clearing of another table. Hostess staff were completely disorganized and not customer service friendly. A complete turn off from a customer service viewpoint. What is the point of making a reservation if the restaurant doesn't even abide by it. We had show tickets that evening, so had to speed up our meal as it took a total of 15 minutes for us to get seated when we arrived. Not impressed at all.
My first visit, my group has visited several times. I was very impressed. Our waiter, from England, was excellent, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Food was great as was the presentation. We ordered tapas style and I was surprised everything arrived at once( my only criticism. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will return.
The food was ok but very overpriced. You are definitely paying for the location here.
Beautiful food with creative/flexible adaptation to allergies.
Friendly, attentive and energetic staff.
We spent too much money but we couldn’t resist ordering “one more bottle of wine”
Patient with our 1 year old!
We had the Easter brunch buffet. Service was slow and our plates got piled up at our table. What’s worst was they kept bringing out warm but dirty and greasy dishes out for customers to use.
We had the surf and turf platter - it was super tasty except the crab was cold. The ambience was ok except for the table of toddlers sitting next to us - I would perhaps not sit a young couple out for a date night next to a childrens birthday party. The drinks were a little weak but the service was superb.
Staff was great and excellent food!
Terrible food quality .
Won't go back there again
Excellent food. Good location but more suitable for the business crowd.
We always get great service with the Glowbal Group restaurants. The food was divine as well
Interior is modern
Service was very good, attentive and friendly
Special of the day was well described
Great place for business lunch
It was a very nice evening with good service and good food.
We had a great time at Glowbal and were very welcomed from the time we entered the restaurant. Out waiter was outstanding
Great dining experience. Brunch menu has lots of options! Highly recommend!
We came to Glowbal to eat before the Juno’s and had delicious drinks and meals, but what really stood out was the service, more specifically Steven from Newcastle. He was fantastic, always on the ball and was very knowledgeable about the food and the requirements of good service (I’ve worked many years in hospitality and he was sure one of the best). His enthusiasm and friendliness went a long way. Thank you for such a great time! We will be back.
Thank you for the great table and service. My cousin asked me what I did to get it. It wasn't as noisy.
