We made a reservation for a group of 20 and it looks over 10 minutes to get us to our table. Staff seemed confused and unsure of what they were doing. Waitstaff was a bit confused as well. I watched one server deliver a wrong drink to someone at our table and just before he went to take a sip came back and grabbed it out of his hand and replaced it with another. That was a little unacceptable to me, but we let it slide.
I usually love going here but my experience was horrible. My waitress(Andrea) attitude was horrible, their was hair in my food, it took forever to get my food and it wasn’t busy at all. Asked for a manager toward the part of of receiving my bill, the manager never came. i was very disappointed. My date was ruined and i don’t think ill be back.
Easy to make reservations, waitress was nice and very informed about the menu! Food was delicious, would highly recommend!
Not as good as hoped just didn’t live up to my expectations
Our time was rushed possibly because it was close to closing and New Year Eve.
We were at the Granite City location in Detroit. We had a nice time. I would definitely come back and bring friends!
Have been here about 4/5 times have only had one bad time . It was busy New Year’s Eve but our server was amazing I wanted to take him to work at my job we need more people with his energy. Very kind and friendly always made sure we were good on drinks didn’t rush us to order our entrees since we like to wait. Food was great we got full off of drinks and app but food was still great the next day. Will be back in a few weeks.
We arrived 15 minutes before our early evening reservation and were sat immediately. We watched as server after server walked by our table and not one stopped. I politely stopped one of the servers and asked if we could see our server. She was very polite and kind while apologizing that we haven’t been helped yet. She informed us the server who’s section we were sat in was not scheduled in to work yet. She was kind enough to help us herself! I wish I could remember her name because she did a great job all things considered. The chicken limone was outstanding. The entire plate was just done perfectly. The food will bring us back again soon. Hopefully they work out the kinks at the host stand before our next visit.
I like the atmosphere, yet it was very loud, the booth was a tight fit. I will try it again and see how I feel....

Valet & Staff Work Well To Satisfy Customers Needs
Good food and service was ok. The waitress was very solid but ran into problems with other table next to us complaining to get money off their bill. They seemed to be gaming the system to rip off restaurant while nothing would seem to please them.
We were very excited for our night out but disappointed with the meal portion. We sat for awhile before our server came over and then once we had order drinks he didn’t return for over 10 minutes. No drinks, no order taken and we eventually just flagged down someone else. As the other person was taking our order our waiter came back and completed taking our order. He was helpful in telling us how long it was taking and what stage it was at but when it came out it was wrong. I had to wait to get our waiter again to tell him. He said he’d go get the missing onion string right away and I waited a good 10 minutes before they got to me. So my meal was cold, as well as the onion strings, by the time I ate it. We had a show to go to so we didn’t say anything at the time. I used to be a server so I expect more when I dine but on the flip side I am very understanding for things that are out of a servers control. Drinks and missed food items should never take that long. We felt like the forgotten table.
Our food was quite good, all 8 people agreed. Our issue was service. We arrived right on time for our 7PM reservation. We were told the table was being set up. 15 minutes later I inquired again, as we still hadn't been seated. A different host acknowledged that our table was being set up. I let him know that we had been told that 15 minutes ago and that I had a reservation at 7PM. A few minutes later we were seated in the bar at a high-top table. We all found this weird but didn't say anything. It was clear our reservation hadn't been planned out and they stuck us in the bar. Our server was perfectly polite but clearly overwhelmed. Eventually I had to flag down the manager and ask if we could have our table cleared and another round of drinks ordered. The manager acknowledged the issues and discounted our bill. I will return to Granite City but truly hope they can it together a little better. The restaurant was not busy. At least half the tables we open. There was seemingly no reason for our lack of service.
It was ok, the service was slow it took them almost an hour to bring our food. Spinach dip was good but the crackers serve with them was very hard!
Unfortunately, during my dining experience a piece of metallic substance was found in my food. It turns out that it was from the grill brush that cleans the grill, not a consolation prize, a definite choking hazard. The manager immediately asked if there was anything she could do and offered to make another meal. Without me paying for it. I thought the place overall was nice and surprisingly not busy, which I appreciated. I would go again.
I really enjoyed the service, the waitress was great!
First time diner. Came for a Holiday business lunch. Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Great food, good service, good value.
The restaurant was very nice and upscale. The waiters were underdressed for the restaurant but very nice and helpful. I got the barbecue pork nachos and they were the best nachos I have ever had. However the main entree was awful. I got a ribeye steak which was a special and it was horrible. It was slightly under cooked but the piece of meat was just subpar. For $42 this was the worst steak I have ever eaten at a restaurant. This was a total waste of money and I was very upset. The rest of the menu looked fine and I would be willing to go back to try again.
We decided to host our anual holiday party there 15 guest, took us over 20 mins just to get a drink . Got appetizers without any plates, couldn’t find server to order .
Came to take our order mind u still no plates , we order and made us order second drink . They brought the second drink no garnish or straws since the bar was closing . They forgot to order one of the guests food which they brought until everyone was done eating . Needless to say we paid over $500 for a crappy dinner experience not worth it
Took 45 minutes just to get water. Not our waiter's fault. He was set up with too many large parties and couldn't handle it all. Management was aware of the situation and didn't do anything to rectify it.
Very welcoming host and great service by the server! I was celebrating my one year anniversary and I really enjoyed myself! The beer flight is a cool item to have on the menu, as I was able to taste flavors I never have before.
The food was good, although one of the entrees was messed up. Our server was very friendly, but the food (both appetizers and entrees) was very, very slow to arrive.
In our section, there were 2 BIG groups but only 2-3 waiters. And of course, our bad service wasn’t due to these poor waiters but the management for not taking this into account. Our table arrived at 6:15pm for our reservation, and didn’t leave until 9pm. Nearly three hours. Please take this into account next time you make a reservation.
Great service and food
We had a good time
The food was fine, but the service was awful. One of my guests found a produce sticker in her nachos, she asked for a replacement, and it wasn't given to her until the rest of us were done eating. The waitress didn't come to check on us after our meals were served or we would have asked her what the problem was. I book a lot of lunches at the RenCen and will not recommend this place to anyone. It took almost an hour and a half.
Great food but always slow service
Ashley was so nice and pleasant well informed about food choices we will request ber in the future thanks Ashely for a wonderful experience!
I've been to the Northville location but this is my first time downtown to this location. The service was great and the food was excellent.
Execellent Service ... great job with large party ! Truly enjoyed my time
Attended the Thanksgiving football game and wanted a traditional Thanksgiving dinner being away from home. The food was exceptional and staff was very friendly even though place was packed. Would recommend this restaurant for special events as the atmosphere is more up scale. Food was made with all fresh ingredients and was outstanding.
Had the Thanksgiving day special meal and it was mostly good. The vegetables.with the pot roast were undercooked and the 2nds of Turkey took a long time. But generally the food was yummy and the service was good.
Service was quite slow. Website was unclear re: Thanksgiving. We thought you could choose between the Thanksgiving meal and/or meals from the regular menu. Our server was good and pleasant considering how behind all her tables were. The house brews were good.
We went for the Thanksgiving dinner. Our server, Ronald, was awesome, even though he had too many tables. The food tasted good but most of the dishes were lukewarm. I’m sure this had to do with the number of people who were there. We would like to return for the regular menu!
Server was good. Good tastes good but was sloooooooooow. 30 minutes for a flatbread, chicken nuggets for a kid...?
The turkey rice soyp was outstanding
The chef had a very difficult time cooking a Medium Well steak and I had to send it back twice resulting in a gift card and soup for dinner instead of steak.
Everyone and everything was amazing! Super friendly and professional
The only issue was making an on-line reservation. It made us do it twice, even though the first one worked, but the host station didn't have it.
This location was a huge epic fail. Have been to the Minnesota locations a bunch and made reservations over a week ago for a group of 10. When we got there there was a mix up and they gave out table to someone else. So we were split up at 3 tables. They did provide a appetizer however they never asked what we wanted and most of the group does not eat nachos. Food for all 3 tables came out at all different times. Had to ask multiple time for refills on beverages. One meal was full of hair. Never was asked for desserts and the kids would have ordered. They did apologize, but it should never have been a continuous train wreck.
