Our entrees were not very good. My chicken pasta was too salty and it was swimming in butter. We ordered a bottle of wine and was told it was only served by the glass even though it was listed available by the bottle on the menu. So we paid more to have it served by the glass.
Nadine was our server and was amazing! We had multiple guests and she handled everything with ease. The ambiance was great and we all enjoyed the brunch very much!! Drinks too! And I loved the omelette station!!
All good. Service was slow but we had a good time. Beer excellent. Food pretty good. Better than most bars.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed the seafood selections.
Hostess was not friendly
Food was delicious. Our server was nice but overwhelmed with tables.
The service was good but we never received a dessert menu. We wanted to get something because it was my sons birthday.
Food was good / ok but the service was so bad. We had a business group of 12 people and we had to get drinks from the bar (instead of the waiter) and the glasses they gave us for wine had a horrible chlorine smell. The good food could not really make up for it and it was a bad impression about the service oriented country USA to our guests from overseas
Menu looked great but service was extremely slow even though restaurant was not busy. Food was brought out lukewarm, missing some sides. When done server brought check and we had to ask her for dessert. Not a great impression for a quick trip to Detroit.
Our Server Khartier and Jessica were the best thing about the restaurant. Both were very nice and attentive. My food was tasty but later gave me terrible stomach issues. My husbands food was edible but the spareribs were tough, potatoes unseasoned, and green beans under cooked. We will be going back to the Livonia location in the future.
It was my anniversary dinner and they made us feel really comfortable and are not strict about a reservation or how many people you have reserved. They made room for everyone and our waitress even did her own anniversary song with our cake that she delivered to us in a special way.
Service was not the best it’s wasnt crowed that’s why we did not understand why the waitress only znw too our table only a few times to ask were we ok. I’m use to the wait staff coming several times at least to refill the water. The price of the food made it taste that much better I do recommend Granite City Downtown Detroit location next to the Marriott hotel
I dine here often for lunch and the salmon salad is the best!
The pretzels and cheese were AMAZING 👌🏼
We had a group of 6 on a Saturday before a concert at Ford Field. There was also a Tigers game at the same time. The town was packed. We made 4:30 reservations. We got lost looking for the place (we walked) and were 15 minutes late. I called to let them know and they were perfectly okay with it. The service was great and we were out by 6:00pm. Thank you!
It was a nice place. Great view and food
First time I was satisfied and chose to return and invite some friends during the Jazz festival. Food was terrible. Grilled cheese was not grilled, but cheese on bread. Waiter said food would be up shortly and we had to remind him we did not order yet. Wrong items delivered and not what we ordered. Maybe they were having a bad day.
Service was pretty good. We were there celebrating 3 birthdays. Our table wasn’t ready at 6p but we were still waiting for our 6th family member so that was ok. Jasmine was good but asked if I wanted steak sauce, I said yes but she never brought it. We’re willing to give Granite City another try in the future.
Food was OK. Went to brunch with a group of 8 people before a show. Couldn't get reservations anywhere else. The place was empty in an otherwise booming brunch scene. Buffet was not nearly what was advertised (e.g., smoked salmon but no bagels and cream cheese, the waffle bar was literally just a waffle and syrup). The food that was available was OK, but the service was very slow (although our server was very nice). Would not recommend.
The waitress was exceptionally friendly and good. The management and hostess staff were polite and friendly. My only complaint is with the chef. My boyfriend and my cousin ordered the ribeye steak medium well however the chef burned them!! When we sent the steaks back we were told that there weren’t anymore ribeye steaks available. He (chef) came out to argue that the steaks were properly cooked. His service and demeanor was very poor and unacceptable!!
While the service was excellent, the meal, not so much. I had ordered the steak and it was not tender.
It was very relaxed, I was not being rushed to oder. I Definitely will dine in again.
Didn’t get his name but the waiter I had may have the best. Good food ate outside which was nice.
The service was terrible. Waited 20 mins after I sat down just to get water. When she finally took our order and we got our food, she disappeared. Never once came back and asked how the food was, if we needed anything, never refreshed our drinks, NOTHING! JUST TERRIBLE. Then we get our bills and a 20% tip was already included. She barely deserved 5% and we HAD to tip 20?! I’ll never go back...I MIGHT try the one in Troy next time...MIGHT!
Met for a business lunch, service was very fast & accurate!
Pretty Mediocre -- food was just OK --- it had an attempt at being upscale but kinda missed the mark.
Sandwich was soggy, fell apart in hands, shrimp was cold. sauces overpowering
Horrible customer service. You could tell our waitress didn't want to serve us. She even had the nerve to ask us to stack up our own dirty dishes and told us if we did that she would remove them from our table. I'll stick to the one in Northville.
Service was horrible. Too long wait for our food and for server to come back or check to see if we needed anything. I won’t be back for awhile
The food and service was mediocre, at best. Soup was delivered cold. Portion sizes were small for the price. Drinks were weak—in fact, we sent one back because we could not taste ANY alcohol and the glass appeared half empty.
My wife and I went there for dinner and drinks before a concert. We had great service by Andrea. All her recommendations (App, Drinks, Dinner) were terrific. We certainly would come back again.
Had a great time here for my friends birthday dinner! The service was awesome, our server was friendly, accurate and knowledgeable and told us she brewed many of the beers here! Food was nice, I had the short ribs which were very tasty and my partner had a burger which he said was delicious! All and all had a wonderful time and would definitely return!
We hosted our Family reunion dinner here. We originally had a private room, but our head count dropped and we needed to cancel. The management and even staff was more than accommodating!!! The food was awesome, our server was awesome the whole experience was enjoyable! I definitely will be returning!!
We had our reservations canceled at the last minute to to a building problem we were celebrating a birthday it was very very inconvenient So our review is very poor because we didn’t get to experience anything we would’ve liked to
Excellent Burgers! Service could be better but was adequate.
Our waitress was absolutely awesome, her customer service was great! We didn’t have to look for her because she brought us everything we needed and she came back often to check on us. I had the chicken limone it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend said the Maple bacon burger was the best burger he ever had. We were very satisfied and will be returning soon.
They have excellent food and it is reasonably priced
Excellent service!!! I had my birthday dinner there and I’m so glad I did! I will be back!
Although it was loud, it was a great meal. It was difficult to have conversations due to noise level.
The restaurant was conveniently located to the Marriott and the beer and food was good but the music was to loud . We were ahead of the crowd thank goodness so the service was reasonable but the restaurant filled up quickly (7:30) and service also slowed.
