Enjoyed the visit for the most part. Only disappointment was that they asked if there was a particular celebration for the dinner, and we did say yes it was a birthday. Once there, it was never mentioned to us nor did they acknowledge the birthday in any way, so it left me wondering why they bothered to ask in the first place.
Would go back of course; the meatloaf is very good and so are the burgers.
Food was delicious and no complaints on the table service. However, reservations on Open Table mean nothing. You still wait the same amount as everyone else.
We come to the Northville location all the time. We have a very nice server and service with a SMILE!!
This make a bad meal good... our meal was very good and she was the only server that gave up extra napkin and wet naps when we ordered bone in wings.... thank you Leslie
We love the brunch on Sunday
Everything was great, but our table wasn’t ready when we arrived despite having a reservation.
Food was good . Same with the beer . Both quite satisfying ! Wait person not attentive enough . Had a hard time getting our wait persons attention to correct a mistaken drink order . Also we had reservations for a party of six but I was not happy with our seating . Too crowded feeling .
Had a private group dinner. Food was served quickly and it was very good! Definitely recommend!
Fantastic Brunch ,food was great and the bloody mary was wonderful
Reservation at 830, wasn't seated until after 915. Was told I was next to be seated upon arrival, but over 10 other parties were seated first.
Once we were called, our table wasn't cleared yet, resulting in us having to be walked around the restaurant until an open table was found. This table was in the bar area and a high top, two specific things I asked not for.
The service was then very slow and we were almost forgotten about until a waitress was flagged down to take our order.
Will not be eating here again anytime soon.
Food was great! Tried the house salad and added chicken. It was great. The house dressing was amazing! I will be back.
It was my son's 22nd birthday. It was very nice, the food was great and our server was fabulous. We will be back. Thank you
They shouldn’t be listed on open table for reservations because they don’t honor the time but put you on a walk-in waiting list
I went there for there for my anniversary and wow did it exceed my expectations! The service and food was amazing, I will definitely be back!
I was able to make a reservation for Friday evening. We were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. The service was great, the Octoberfest food was phenomenal! A wonderful evening.
Weekday date with my husband. We had read the menu in advance, made reservations and were set to order once seated. Our server was cordial. Our drinks were kept filled. The food arrived very quickly and was simply outstanding! Dessert was not offered. Our server was very business minded and not very friendly. That would be the only downside of the evening. I have never had a anything but outstanding food here!
Not the 1st experience; Very unhappy employees. Looked grumpy, like they were doing a favor to paying customers!! Seemed rude. But person waiting on us was friendly. Otherwise place is great, good beer!!
It was fine for what it is. The menu was a bit one-note. Food is generally well-prepared but over-priced for the area and for what it is.
Always enjoy dining at Granite City.Good food, great venue.
We have been here many times. This time the food was subpar. My husband bison burger was overcooked. He was trying to figure out why it tasted different & realized it was overdone. By that time he was almost done with it. My prime rib sandwich was 3/4 bread, just a bit of meat. The waitress was nowhere. When she did come to our table & we complained she sent the manager over. He offered to make a new sandwich but after waiting 35 minutes for our food we didn't want to wait any longer. He apologized but never offered to discount our bill. There are many other restaurants to choose from. We will not be back!!!
First time here. I will not go back. The service was a little slow and the food just mediocre. Other ratings on open table are not accurate. If you like places such as TGI Friday, then you’ll probably like this place as well.
Excellent food one of my favorite spots to go 2
Brunch has gone down hill in the last few months. The Beef Carver was so rude it was like a seen out of Oliver Twist. No dessert bar. And the smoked salmon was missing.
Food was ok. Prices are a but high for what you get. My beer cheese soup was 3/4 full so I basically got about 4 spoonfuls for $5. My husbands Salmon was good but not very big. I got the Cajun pasta. No bread or salad came with it. Not spicy at all and the huge amount of vegetables were completely raw. My margarita was in a very thin glass, filled with ice. A few sips at it was gone. Not paying 8.50 for a second one. Overall, priced to high.
This restaurant did not accept the reservation that was made!! I was told they didn't accept reservations from this company, but, yet another non-color couple was seated immediately with reservation!! This was very disrespectful, and really dampen the entire evening!!
Very good food, excellent service, the noise level was a little loud, could have been because of the large amount of small children near us.
Met a friend for dinner. Our meals were excellent and drinks even better. We will be coming back!
Overall, good food and great beer! We had the brunch, which was great. Food was prepared well and it was a buffet, but they kept the serving container small, so the food didn't get 'old' or 'stale'. Also, they have great French Toast and cinnamon rolls with caramel brought directly to your table, which is a really nice touch! I recommend ! !
This was a great meal. Our server Amy, was just as Good as you can Be.
Lunch menu a little limited but the citrus salmon salad is always a good choice.
When we arrived we had a reservation but had to wait 25 minutes. A woman who appeared to be in charge of two young women, was very unpleasant, didn't smile, or even make eye contact. She acted dismissive- "Give them a beeper" and let them wait. It wasn't just us who got this treatment. We have been here before, and have never encountered her or the attitude. We went back s couple of days later and encountered her again. There again were younger women seating patrons and they asked her about a request we had made on our reservation. The food was good, server was good, and our friends enjoyed their meals. Lose the loser at the door though- with the long stone cold face. On our way out, we saw the stone cold woman behind us in a room alone talking with another worker. She appears to be new? Again, but for the common denominator of unpleasantness from a possible manager-we may go back again.
Overall was good. Food was good and tasty. Service was fine. Food was served timely. Communication at front desk was poor. I made reservation for 5 people including child but staff assigned high chair table for 8 people. When I asked her to change table, she became silent and just changed table. She did not show any attitude to take care of guest, which was very disappointing. I could give better review if that incident did not change our impression.
The food was good. The service was spotty. The patio would be a nice place to sit if they could figure out how to moderate the temperature. The fans were blowing at hurricane force and when we asked if they could be turned down, our server said no. It was ridiculous and impacted the enjoyment of our meal. That said, the menu is extensive with many good options.
We sat on the patio and it was a great place to eat and talk. A small pond with fountain is right next door. Food was delicious and server was attentive and checked on us at just the right intervals.
Appetizer was disappointing--- it was not as described in the menu. Dinner meals were good.
They do not honor OpenTable reservations made on their website so not really sure why OpenTable reservations are on their website in the first place? Wasn’t happy with the experience
The Asian shrimp appetizer, asian shrimp tacos, best I a found so far. artichoke and spinach dip out of this world....had tried in many restaurants still my favorite and barbecue wingdings are great too. A must have.
Just had dessert. Mini trio plates were very good. Restaurant was very busy. Waitress was nice, but only checked on us once, and we were there for 2 hours.
Great food at Granite City Brewing. I love the changing menu options "specials". The service is always fast and reliable. I like the different seating options they have available. I would recommend the place to anyone I knew in the area!
Our meal was fine as always. Our server, Jordan was wonderful. She helped us with a few menu problems. We were there earlier in the day as they were gearing up for dinner. Everything was just as if it were just another meal served with no excuses. Like you sometimes hear at other places, sorry, we are not ready for that. They had everything covered.
We were celebrating my brothers birthday! Had an excellent time! Food was delicious, service was outstanding.
